THE BREXIT FALLOUT CONTINUES - THREAD NINE

The Tories have settled their scores and May is now PM.
Is it May's Day or May Day for the people?

After careful consideration I thought the best way to sum up the Labour Contest was in one simple picture. May Day, might also be appropriate here too.

Things are moving fast, so hold on tight for the Brexit Ride

Sense of humour compulsory. No experience necessary though

Leadsom on her way? No WAY is she capable of looking after NI.

Plus the to-ing and fro-ing over the water would be bad for her kiddiewinks.

CaveMum · 14/07/2016 14:45

Heck what else is left for Leadsom??

RedToothBrush · 14/07/2016 14:45

Paul Waugh ‏@paulwaugh · 8m8 minutes ago

Natalie Evans got Lords Leader job cos she is one of just 2 Tory Lords ministers who backed Leave. Big signal from May 'Brexit means Brexit'

Evening Standard reporting Davies has said we will quit the UK in Dec 2018.

DoinItFine · 14/07/2016 14:45

Oh god, please don't give NI to Leadsom.

RedToothBrush · 14/07/2016 14:46

Grayling gets the Heathrow decision.

OP posts:
CaveMum · 14/07/2016 14:46

Maybe Communities/Local Government?

OlennasWimple · 14/07/2016 14:46

Agree Red - also reward for loyalty to TM (another theme of these appointments)

Chalalala · 14/07/2016 14:47

Davies has said we will quit the UK in Dec 2018

Interesting Freudian slip there Red

derxa · 14/07/2016 14:47

Loathsome Angry

TheBathroomSink · 14/07/2016 14:48

Lol at Grayling on a tricycle. Can't unsee that now. Maybe loathsome is going to resign a large crabb? Someone keep an eye on LM if that happens!

TheBathroomSink · 14/07/2016 14:49

A la crabb.

There's still overseas development and climate change. Neither of which she believes in.

Showmethewaytogohome · 14/07/2016 14:50

Thanks Herman appreciate it. Smile

squoosh · 14/07/2016 14:50

Leadsom will hopefully* get Culture. That one's still free isn't it?

*if she has to get something.

GingerIvy · 14/07/2016 14:51

Is DWP still open? She wouldn't put AL there, surely?

DoinItFine · 14/07/2016 14:51

No no no

Loathsom would be worse than Hunt or Whittingdale at Culture.

Nothing for her.

TheBathroomSink · 14/07/2016 14:53

Damien Green work and pensions

DoinItFine · 14/07/2016 14:53

Richard Adams in the Guardian says Morgan expected to keep her job at education.

squoosh · 14/07/2016 14:53

You're right Doin. I feel bad for saying it now!

Hopefully she's been called just to be told 'nothing for you dear'..

TheBathroomSink · 14/07/2016 14:53

Green would have been pro BBC at dcms.

GingerIvy · 14/07/2016 14:53

ah, okay. Don't know much about him. Is that good?

RedToothBrush · 14/07/2016 14:54

Damien Green got Pensions

That means Leadsom could get Culture (and have to deal with the media!)

OP posts:
GingerIvy · 14/07/2016 14:55

AL working regularly with the media? Is this TM's revenge? Hmm

squoosh · 14/07/2016 14:55

Has Defra been assigned to anyone yet?

CaveMum · 14/07/2016 14:55

Damien Green gets DWP.

That's 14 cabinet places with 4 female appointments.
