The vote of no confidence results are in and they want him to step down. I don't believe he has done anything wrong but he is seen as the wrong person to lead the party forward. He isn't but he COULD have been great.

I'm a huge Corbyn fan...but that's because I vote Tory. He seems like a lovely, well meaning and principled man (well, most of the time....) but I just don't think he will ever make a credible leader and certainly wouldn't be voted in as Prime Minister. Angela Eagle seems like the most credible shout

And agree with pp. in spite of the meme doing the Facebook rounds, he hasn't made the Tory party backtrack on anything. Don't misunderstand me, they have backtracked on things and not covered themselves in glory but they have orchestrated their own shower of shite there, Jeremy Corbyn had nothing to do with it.

Internal Labour party polling, leaked to the Observer, shows that nearly a third of those who voted Labour in 2015 would now support a different party if an election were held today.

That's what 9 months of Corbyn's leadership has achieved.

And his performance in the referendum campaign? I'm fed up with supporters saying he did well, the same as the Scots etc etc. In the North East, traditional Labour heartlands, only 30% voted Remain. And he didn't even bother to campaign there. Angry

Also this constant reference to 'Labour activists'. Activists are the members who are out on the streets, canvassing and delivering leaflets, year in year out. Not the £3 'supporters' marching with Socialist Worker placards and turning the political process into a personality cult.

This is an interesting read:

The canary website is a Corbyn fanzine. About as reliable as the Socialist Worker.

Doesn't really matter as everything has something useful in it. I am amazed that Blair, Campbell and their ilk are still around and agitating.
