I am mortified. Someone take him out of there.

God, it is so embarrassing.

He is horrifically rude.

Fontella · 28/06/2016 10:32

Are you watching online? Where can I watch it?

zippyswife · 28/06/2016 10:32

He has just pushed the self destruct button.

And it just goes from bad to worse.

Insult a group of people and then tell them we're better than them and then say we could still be best friends??!

Somerville · 28/06/2016 10:33

It's on the BBC news channel. I'm watching it online. You can start it from the start of the programme.

zippyswife · 28/06/2016 10:33

It's on the bbc news channel. I've never been so ashamed to be British and part of this. I voted leave and am more regretful than ever (already been rightly flamed elsewhere but you're welcome to go ahead).

Great. It just goes from bad to worse.

Somerville · 28/06/2016 10:38

I missed the very start, but I hear he was booed even as he stood up.

He insulted the rest of the chamber. Saying that most of them had never done a job in their lives.

He was told off rather mildly.

He then went on to say the reasons why the EU needed to agree good trade deals with Britain. These are that the EU needs Britain more then we need them. Hmm Then he said that we can all remain the best of friends. Shock

zippyswife · 28/06/2016 10:38

i think that was the final nail in the coffin.

I had to turn it off. I was going to kick the screen.

RaptorInaPorkPieHat · 28/06/2016 10:41

Oh Jesus.

Awful awful man.

zippyswife · 28/06/2016 10:43

I cannot believe what he has said. Suicide.

Tatiebee · 28/06/2016 10:44

What an embarrassment.

zippyswife · 28/06/2016 10:44

Never thought I'd hear myself say this but the DUP woman Diane Dodds at least has put it so much better.

Soo embarrassing!!
He was smirking as he sat back down- he's playing the pantomime villain and loving every minute of it.

RaptorInaPorkPieHat · 28/06/2016 10:47

He really doesn't grasp that you don't get a good exit deal by pissing them off.

STOP TALKING NIGEL!

Moonax · 28/06/2016 10:47

Watching Our Nigel makes me wish I could divorce myself from the human race. Ugh. Way to help out, Mr Farage.

Somerville · 28/06/2016 10:49

A Scottish MEP speaking now.

DailyMailEthicalFail · 28/06/2016 10:49

Actually, I think they needed to hear some of that.

He pointed out that the reason the UK voted Brexit is that we have been slowly drawn into a political union that we didn't vote for and never wanted. And that other countries have been similarly deceived.

If his style of presentation was somewhat smug/childish/silly, well so was Junkers earlier?

Somerville · 28/06/2016 10:50

He's asked for cool heads and warm hearts.

And reminded them that Scotland didn't let them down. (Also mentions NI and London)

zippyswife · 28/06/2016 10:51

I don't get how he could possibly have thought was the way to behave? We need to negotiate a good deal now. How do you achieve that by being so vile and insulting.

BaboonBottom · 28/06/2016 10:51

Junker was a knob earlier when he shouted at Lord hill. The Dutch lady was lovely and knew her stuff

zippyswife · 28/06/2016 10:53

Oh god he's speaking again now. This would be an opportune time for a heart attack.
