I am mortified. Someone take him out of there.

OP posts:

And Farage wasn't feeling politely inclined after Juncker's petulance. Swings both ways.

3in1swimsoap · 28/06/2016 12:22

YY re sexy voice Somerville

MitzyLeFrouf · 28/06/2016 12:23

Petulance may swing both ways but once of them has a hell of a lot more power. And it ain't Nige.

MitzyLeFrouf · 28/06/2016 12:24

I am IDENTIFYING with the man in seat no.123

Is anyone watching farage in Brussels right now?
TriniRedVelvet · 28/06/2016 12:24

And the one who has all the power wasn't elected to it.

MitzyLeFrouf · 28/06/2016 12:25

But he has the power. Nige can stomp and bluster all he likes but that's all he has.

TriniRedVelvet · 28/06/2016 12:26

Yes so let him bluster then. Change the channel. Send Juncker a love letter.... whatever....

JamieVardysParty · 28/06/2016 12:26

God no annandale - we don't want him in CT Grin

So much posturing in the European Commission - Farage and Juncker the absolute worst.

Farage is the ultimate troll. His oxygen is controversy and headlines.

Juncker is just an odious petty little man. You could visibly see his anger hidden through his passive aggressive speech.

VulcanWoman · 28/06/2016 12:27

Now that's embarrassing.

DailyMailEthicalFail · 28/06/2016 12:29

3in1 really?

you want to come to a country where the political leader wants to ignore the last democratic referendum and call another? (so the 3rd in 2 years)
have a look at the Scottish debt level (far higher than England)
have a look at Scottish education levels
have a look at the Scottish nhs
have a look at an administration which is about to make State Guardians of over 1 million children
have a look at an administration which requires its MP's to formally sign that they cannot ever question or disagree with their leader

because of an accent?

MitzyLeFrouf · 28/06/2016 12:29

Yes so let him bluster then. Change the channel. Send Juncker a love letter.... whatever....

Grin

Temper, temper trini dear. Can you not cope with anyone criticising dear old Nige?

burnishedsilver · 28/06/2016 12:35

I'm not British but I feel for you - that was a car crash.

MeMySonAndl · 28/06/2016 12:36

Good grief, the country may have voted out but there is no reason to go and offend other countries.

I bet he has already reduced a good part of the goodwill we need so badly to get out of the EU with a favourable deal.

TriniRedVelvet · 28/06/2016 12:37

You can criticise whomever you like. I was pointing out that Farage wasn't the only rude one but you obviously hate him so much you can't see the double standard you're indulging in. I'm not a supporter of Farage or UKIP. But I don't let rage towards brexiters to prejudice my statements. I'm done now and won't be goaded by you anyone so you can carry on blustering as wee.

MitzyLeFrouf · 28/06/2016 12:38

He is less statesmanlike than the bloke who stands outside our local post office shouting obscenities at people.

TriniRedVelvet · 28/06/2016 12:39

bloody autocorrect. Well you get the gist of it.

MitzyLeFrouf · 28/06/2016 12:39

'you can carry on blustering as wee.'

Sounds potentially damp but thanks!

alltouchedout · 28/06/2016 12:40

At least he's made it clear that it's not Britain which is his priority, it's his ego. But oh the shame of people thinking he represents a majority of Britons. Even most of the leave voters I know think he's a vile, self serving, ridiculous fool.

burnishedsilver · 28/06/2016 12:44

He wasn't the only one being rude but he ws the only one being deliberately antagoinistc and smirking while he was doing it. There was no dignity in that.

BoulevardOfBrokenSleep · 28/06/2016 12:44

Presumably these guys have worked with farage for years, and his being an utter cock isn't news to them. Though he doesn't normally turn up, does he?

TriniRedVelvet · 28/06/2016 12:45

Ah, too inane to work out what I meant. I should have known. Wee was autcorrected from well. Autocorrect replaced allow with let which made to seem out of place. Or between you and anyone was deleted. Clear enough, dear?

3in1swimsoap · 28/06/2016 12:46

DailyMailEthicalFail amor omnia vincit Smile

TriniRedVelvet · 28/06/2016 12:47

Meanwhile on mumsnet I'm tired of arguing with the stupid and the hateful.

MitzyLeFrouf · 28/06/2016 12:48

There's an easy solution there Trini. Can you see it?

AdrenalineFudge · 28/06/2016 12:51

BoulevardOfBrokenSleep You're right. Generally speaking Nigel and his crew are among the lowest of Parliamentary attendees. That said, I'm glad he turned up for this. Someone needed to put Juncker back in the box - don't care whoever it is.
