I am mortified. Someone take him out of there.

He's been an MEP since 1999 and this is largely all he has ever done - been in the building and occasionally throw insults. And people wonder why the EU apparently doesn't listen to us Brits.

My only hope, in the probably unlikely event we end up not leaving the EU after all this, is we realise sending twats who want to destroy to EU out there is not going to work in our best interests. We need people who want to work for Britain within Europe. Though I'd hazard a guess there's 27 countries right now trying desperately to figure out how to kick us out.

And lets not forget, all those years he hasn't been turning up he's been pocketing a pay cheque.

Arse. Hole.

And you do know that, if you are possessed of a Home Counties accent (which I appreciate you may not be) then you might not be all that welcome up here don't you? (esp since the last IndyRef and it's all stoking up again)?

I have a Home Counties accent. My Glaswegian colleagues asked for an interpreter Confused. Maybe I was lucky, but I wasn't ever made to feel unwelcome.

Don't forget Nige isn't our only MEP, the SE sends 10 MEPs to European Parliament. Only 3.5 of them* are UKIP... er, OK, that's not that reassuring.

*one was elected as UKIP but jumped ship to Independent.
