I know there will be difficult times ahead.

Staying there was also going to be difficult times afraid.

But I think it's the way forward ! I'm pleased change is on the cards.

Remain voters like me will be leaving in droves!
That's good, right?
Have a nice day all

I couldn't give a hoot if remain voters 'like you' are leaving.

The remain voters who do not behave like tantrumming children, however, will most likely stay - and we can all pull together as a team to make positive changes.

And that's just great.

HTH

Mooingcow · 25/06/2016 12:25

Rorty any wine left?

Or shall we make Pimms?

Weather can't make its mind up.

Unlike me.

GertrudeBelle · 25/06/2016 12:29

Your celebrations are in such bad incredibly taste.

Little fucking champagne emoticons when thousands of people will lose their jobs, businesses and charities will collapse, subsidies to our poorest areas will be pulled, the housing market will collapse, the financial services industry will collapse meaning billions in lost tax which now won't be available for schools and the NHS, massive cost of living increases due to more expensive imports.

Yeah, well done you. Hurray.

But at least we won't have any more immigrants. Oh wait. Except we will

Penvelopesnightie · 25/06/2016 12:32

Today I'm still thinking that Brexit was the right decision . I think David Cameron was misleading saying we are safer in Europe , I just don't think we are , the Paris and Belgium attacks are quite frightening to think so many terrorists are at large in Europe . I think the older voters are right to vote for our safety and security .

TriniRedVelvet · 25/06/2016 12:33

Yes I did that sarcastically....... but if you don't like it move the fuck on to somewhere else.

Mooingcow · 25/06/2016 12:34

Gertrude I think bad taste is seeing a gathering of people whom you know to hold different views, barging in and lecturing them in a dull and vulgar fashion.

Do you do this in real life? Would you encourage your children to barge in somewhere and make pejorative assumptions and abusive comments at people with different beliefs?

Because we have a name for that, too.

Anyway, there's no cucumber so it's back to Rorty's Wine

Anyone got quiche?

GertrudeBelle · 25/06/2016 12:35

If I saw a bunch of idiots celebrating at a funeral, absolutely I would tell them how cringing my awful their behaviour was.

GertrudeBelle · 25/06/2016 12:35

*cringingly

Penvelopesnightie · 25/06/2016 12:37

We've got our country back so there won't be any funeral .

GertrudeBelle · 25/06/2016 12:38

Trini - actually I cross posted with you and hadn't seen your emoticons. It was aimed at every gloating fool on this thread, not just you.

BertrandRussell · 25/06/2016 12:38

"We've got our country back so there won't be any funeral"

Please tell me what that means!

GertrudeBelle · 25/06/2016 12:39

Well done Penvelope you have your country back. Of course you have utterly destroyed it in the process. But don't let that stop your jingoistic celebrations.

Penvelopesnightie · 25/06/2016 12:44

I haven't destroyed anything ,politicians do hardly anything anyway and I don't want a European Parliament controlling as anyway, I don't know who they are, how it works , apart fromNigel Farage I don't know any of its members . Not once did Cameron say what positive stuff we are going to get from the European Parliament in the next few years . No one promised me job security, wage increases , being looked after in my old age .

GertrudeBelle · 25/06/2016 12:48

Yes but you understand the status quo, no? You know how things are likely to have panned out had we Remained.

You complain that you don't know the EU and how it works. Instead of educating yourself you have voted for chaos. You have voted to destabilise our financial markets and put our country into deep recession.

I do lay this at your door. Yours and every other Leave voter.

buckingfrolicks · 25/06/2016 12:48

"Us outs are quiet happy to carry on as usual."

Incorrect use of 'us' aside, if you're so happy to carry on as usual, why for the love of god did you vote for something that will do precisely the opposite?

Oh - could it be because you're, well, not to put too fine a point on it, not too bright?

Penvelopesnightie · 25/06/2016 12:48

And who is Lord Hill? Never heard of him either .

buckingfrolicks · 25/06/2016 12:51

Penvelopesnightie,

So you admit to voting to leave despite, in your own words, "I don't want a European Parliament controlling as anyway, I don't know who they are, how it works".

Disgraceful. Aren't you embarrassed to say this?

GertrudeBelle · 25/06/2016 12:52

Let me Google That for you Penvelope:

Fizbo · 25/06/2016 12:52

Is it too early for more fiz? Still over the moon. I woke up this morning with a spring in my step 😀 I would also like to add a few points about me...
I have a degree
I am front line NHS ( for 12 years)
I have a mortgage
I am mixed race
I am the only person in my immediate family born in the U.K (they were all Brexit too!)
I did not vote UKIP ( voted Lib Dem)
I love 🍾

GertrudeBelle · 25/06/2016 12:53

It's terrifying isn't it Buckingfrolicks.

buckingfrolicks · 25/06/2016 12:54

Trini says: "if you don't like it move the fuck on to somewhere else"

So, how come when Europeans didn't like where they were, and wanted to 'move the fuck on to somewhere else', you have just voted to slam the door of Britain in their face? You leavers are so confused and contradictory.

Mooingcow · 25/06/2016 12:55

Except that's just silly hyperbole - it's not a funeral Gertrude it's the aftermath of democracy.

So again, I ask. Do you often verbally abuse strangers because their political beliefs are different to yours?

Do you extend that breathtaking intolerance to others' taste in interior design for example? Or, say, religious beliefs? Or how they choose to dress or raise their children?

Oh dear.

buckingfrolicks · 25/06/2016 12:56

GertrudeBelle, it most certainly is.
