@Maddie020

Also, If someone can read my chart as I have no idea about it 🤔
Why my temp dropped? If it's successful it should have been elevated, isn't it? I took it on different time though and got up for bathroom 2 hours before I took it
BananaHammock23 · 07/09/2020 10:58

Thanks @Tasha1607 @Maddie020 - I can't wait to get started again!

I feel much more relaxed this time and have been giving myself a break. Last time I didn't drink at all for three months, now I have a glass of wine with friends etc. I feel much more chill! Still keeping up with the acupuncture and reflexology. What's this about pineapple?!!

Also, has anyone else had their eggs 'popped' if they produced too many? As my ovaries didn't react to meds last time, my dose will be much higher this time and there's a concern I'll produce too many eggs to do IUI. They said if there was they'd pop them! It's done while you're awake so I'm pretty nervous.

Tasha1607 · 07/09/2020 12:31

@BananaHammock23 that's really good to hear. I did that too and didn't too much pressure on myself or too many changes to lifestyles and dieting. When are you starting?

I don't know what it is about pineapple but fresh pineapple juice and pineapple is good for fertility apparently. I ate loads of it!

@LifeIsBusy have you got your scan tomorrow?

LifeIsBusy · 07/09/2020 13:18

@Tasha1607 It is tomorrow and i've got to admit that i'm getting a little nervous but still trying not to think about it. I think I overdone it yesterday and didn't feel great as a result last night but all is well. Have you started to seriously bloat yet? I'm so confused as there is loads of bloating going on and everything is feeling tighter than usual and I feel it shouldn't given the teeny blob isn't large enough to make a dent yet.

@mabel9, is your 2ww wait over on Thursday? I still have everything crossed

@BananaHammock23 I'm glad you've made it back onto the fertility treatments. Its hard and I totally understand why you would shut down from other things. When my wife was trying we both found it quite difficult. The pineapple is supposed to help fatten up your womb lining... I didn't personally do it but I mean why not... I have never had an egg pop....

@Maddie020 I'm not sure how to read your graph but i'm going to suggest you probably shouldn't read much into it. Both pregnancies sitting side by side are totally different. First time around I didn't notice anything until about 8-9 weeks and even then I only felt a little tired and only slightly illish in the morning. Fast forward to this pregnancy and i've got myself a daily headache, sickness and still tired which all started 2-3 days before my missed period. My only advice is to relax as much as possible.

Maddie020 · 07/09/2020 14:04

@LifeIsBusy yes, you are right, I think my reading and thinking too much and need to stop and just let my body do it's job ... thanks xx

@BananaHammock23 : I am glad that u r back on this journey, never heard of egg popping but I am sure if they are doing it while you will be awake, it must be an easy process. Good Luck xx

LifeIsBusy · 07/09/2020 14:17

@maddie020 How far into your 2ww are you?

Maddie020 · 07/09/2020 14:21
@maddie020 How far into your 2ww are you?
Had my iui done on 4th and opk chart shows I should have ovulated on 5th (as lh started dropping since then) so only 2 dpiui

mabel9 · 07/09/2020 15:54

Hi @LifeIsBusy yes, I think I’ll test Saturday. Not feeling any different so not sure what to think. 🤣
Good luck @Maddie020!

@maddie020 Would that not count as 3 days post IUI? When do you test?

@mabel9 I have no idea how you manage to wait it out. Surely by Thursday if AF hadn't arrived you'd test? This time a month ago i'd already taken 2 tests Halo

Maddie020 · 08/09/2020 14:56

@LifeIsBusy yes, actually ... thanks xx 😊
@mabel9 thanks xx

Maddie020 · 09/09/2020 00:05

@LifeIsBusy sorry I missed the second part - they have advised me to test on 18th but I will wait till 20th xx

LifeIsBusy · 09/09/2020 08:12

@mabel9, how are you feeling? Its getting close now!

@maddie020 Is this your first IUI?

@Tasha1607 Small bump has been confirmed as all well and new estimated due date is 19th April! I have finally called the midwife and made appointments and my next scan is the 6th October.

Maddie020 · 09/09/2020 13:14

@LifeIsBusy yes, my first IUI so very nervous and confused 😐

Tasha1607 · 09/09/2020 13:43

@LifeIsBusy oh my god! That's the same due date as me! That's amazing. Congratulation!

LifeIsBusy · 09/09/2020 13:53

@Tasha1607 I know!! I'm convinced it should be later than that but i'll wait for the 12w scan to see if it changes. How are you feeling this week?

@maddie020 IUIs get easier after round 1... mostly because it either works or you relax more for the 2nd as you know what to expect.

Tasha1607 · 09/09/2020 14:34

@LifeIsBusy I am very much all over the place with the morning sickness. How are you doing? Are you 8 weeks pregnant then?

LifeIsBusy · 09/09/2020 16:07

@Tasha1607 8+2 and not doing overly well as the sickness is intense. Got any cures?

Tasha1607 · 09/09/2020 16:33

@LifeIsBusy I'm at 8 + 2
That's crazy.

Unfortunately no. I can't seem to cure it with anything. Ice cream and ice pops help keep the mouth cool which seems to deter it for a bit

LifeIsBusy · 09/09/2020 16:40

@Tasha1607 its frustrating as irn bru cured it last time but i'm really struggling this time. I was in Tesco the other night as ice pops help with the headache and appear to sooth ish it in the evening. I'll need to get myself on amazon for a big pack to keep me going.

Have you tried the regular remedies - ginger, tea biscuits ect?

Maddie020 · 09/09/2020 17:33

@LifeIsBusy thanks 😊 and congratulations on 8+2 xx
If you don't mind me asking, is it iui? And if so, on what iui?

Tasha1607 · 09/09/2020 18:39

@LifeIsBusy irn bru! I am going to have to get myself one of them!

Biscuits does help. As soon as I'm sick I have biscuits. I haven't done the ginger tea or anything. I am just counting down the days to the 12 week point where it hopefully ends lol.

LifeIsBusy · 10/09/2020 07:56

@Tasha1607 I went to Tesco last night for our weekly shop and I couldn't find any ice poles in either the baking section or the freezer section (not the best Tesco). SO for now i'm on the rowntrees ones until I can get an amazon delivery. Do we think 80 will be enough? I'm also counting down the days but i'm also a little worried that its going to get so much worse next week in the rage. I've tried curry (since its packed with ginger) but other than that no... I don't really like the idea of drinking a hot ginger drink or lemon. I like yoghurt but its not curing anything.

@maddie020 It was IUI but an unmedicated cycle. I only took a small dose of ovitrele (sp?) 6 days post IUI. This was my first cycling TTC no2.

@mabel9.... ITS THURSDAY! How are you feeling?

Tasha1607 · 10/09/2020 11:13

@LifeIsBusy aw bless you! I think 80 will see you through! I hope it doesn't get much worst! It's the unexpected sickness that's catching me out today. I am completely off meat and curry will be the last thing I'd be eating. I'm loving pasta at the moment. It's bland and full of carbs! Lol. I was thinking maybe ginger beer (Non-alcoholic) obviously! May work. So I'm getting some tonight to see.

@mabel9 how are you doing? Any news?

LifeIsBusy · 10/09/2020 11:44

@Tasha1607 I'm not sure I like ginger beer but if it works then I will learn to stomach it. Do let me know if it helps! (although I actually feel ok this morning... I do not expect it to last). I remember last pregnancy I couldn't eat bacon and that never went away after having him so I hope you like meat again soon!
