Started yesterday after breakfast at 105.2kg. I've got a hba1c test today to track it.
So far so Good! Im using exante products as meal replacement and the almond vanilla shake was ok- quite marzipan y. The veg stir fry mixed with the laksa soup mix would have been OK if I'd added a LOT more garlic, chili and ginger. This morning's cherry berry shake was properly nasty- like thick old skool cough mixture. Live and learn.
Any hot tips, companions, advice are welcome.
Wish me luck.

Pretty steady for a few days now. Need to clamp down a bit - meals aren't so bad, it's the snacking...

Bloody good going, buxton.
I am just stagnating so have made a slightly dodgy decision to go back up to 3 metformin per day - 1500mg- in an attempt to get blood sugar back down into proper safe zone and also, maybe, to get a bit of weight off.

Was up to 97 a couple of days ago. I've discovered a food tracker on the Up app (my cheap v region of Fitbit) so I am doing that too- v useful for showing the nutrition info but mostly for maintaining awareness of what I am actually eating. It is so easy to fall into the "just a ..." trap of discounting things and underestimating calories. Even eating 'nothing' I am still doing about 1300 cals a day. Fortunately also being v active so today was a 1100 deficit. Energy in, energy out- it's got to pay off and if I can get the abdominal fat off then the bs will improve too...

Ffs. I've been active and maintaining a calorie deficit between 1000 and 500 cals per day and taking 3 metformin and I've put on half a kilo. It's the total absence of poo action, I reckon.

Same for two days now. Still between 1000 and 1100 cals a day and using between 1800 and 2200. I need a POO!! Looks like the flaxseeds and chia I have run out of ar more important than I thought...

Been wandering round the same pound for a week now, despite a pretty decent diet. Stuck in the station indeed.
