Okay, time to clip in, or out...fill those bidons, and get our merde together.....we roll out from Wonderful Copenhagen for the biggest push bike competition on the planet.
Not sure where velogames are actually up to, but nevertheless we go on Friday. Will set up the league later today. Time to consider options........and who we will curse with selections...will post the link shortly..

Thanks Felicity ! All, could you try that code IF the one I set up isn't working for you. Poss the code had defaulted in the same way the name had and that code is the one now associated with us...for ALL TIME!!

We are just watching the team presentations from Copenhagen (Eurosport). Very exciting. TdF is the sound of the summer for me.

I've received a response from George . He says there has been other messages from other leagues about signing in problems and can't explain why both codes have worked for the same Mayhem league. I've let him know Felicity has posted the functioning code for us, so all is well.

OK, so I've changed my mind in the last few minutes, thrown together a team and joined the MN League. Reckoned there's no point being on the thread unless I do!

Really disappointed for Cav - agree with @HannibalHeyes that it was short sighted of his team as any success would've got them great publicity. I thought he had managed to prove him at the British Championships

My hopes are now pinned on a positive Covid test for Jakobsen I know that's mean

It's such a weird mix of riders that I'm sure I'll carry the lanterne rouge yet again

I've submitted my team - refused to pick Jakobsen out of loyalty to Cav

Jakobsen will now be under a heck of a lot of pressure to do well, won't he, as we'll all be sitting here muttering "should have taken Cav" if he is anything less than spectacular.

Cav gets on my nerve’s immensely, I can’t warm to him at all.

I feel a bit sorry for Jakobsen. He is a great rider who has made an amazing come back from horrendous injuries and this should be being celebrated. But instead he is likely to be remembered as the man who stopped Cav beating the record, whether that is true or not. And as Plasmodesmata says, if he doesn't have an absolutely spectacular Tour it's likely to be viewed as a failure even if he doesn't actually have a bad race at all. I might have been tempted to buy a fine red biro and a lateral flow test if I were him, and save my Tour debut til next year!

Disappointed that Cav isn't there - but he must have known that this was likely when he re signed for quickstep. The race will be less exciting without him though.

I've picked my team. Gone with my heart instead of my head (ie. Picked riders I like, rather than the ones who are actually good) - so I hope I haven't jinxed them all too badly.

I'm so excited for this - just joined the velogames league after missing out last year because I didn't manage to enter in time.

I just went back in for a juggle of team as I realised I didn't have someone I wanted. I will be really cross when my original picks do really well and the ones I swapped them out for all get Covid or leg punctures.

Yeah Cav..I've never taken to him at all either Any. Just too much of the entitled school boy in him, and his behaviour in Harrogate 2014 was pretty unforgiveable.

Time to go tinkering with my team now and amend what could be a victorious group into also rans as usual.

What did Cav do in Harrogate? Apart from fall off outside Betty's.
