I heard "everybody hurts" by REM and "wake me up when september ends" by greenday. they have to be 2 of the best songs ever
(please note I am not mentioning any Metal songs so as to not be a bore)

Bittersweet Symphony-- The Verve

just sends chills down me. was one of 'our' songs at mine and ex dh's wedding, and it sort of stands there in time for me.!!

I love the Flaming Lips - 'Do You Realize' would be an amazing funeral song.

I was listeninb to the Indigo Girls CD from the early 90s today - the one with Galileo on it - and they have a very special place in my heart! you must listen to this!!!!

The video is magnetically watchable as well. Sigh...happy days!
