I thought it was time to move over here from Telly Addicts as we're now discussing Joseph the musical, and not Any Dream Will Do. The other thread was about to get too full anyway.

Grrr....

We will be sitting in Row N, seats 33 -35 which I believe are, contrary to common opinion, the very best seats in the house....>

LyraBelacqua · 27/07/2007 21:38

So how are you getting to Wiltshire? By car? I did the drive from Glasgow to Bath once with a cat in a cage on the passenger seat and it was not fun.

LyraBelacqua · 27/07/2007 21:39

Have you checked your seats on theatremonkey?

oggsfrog · 27/07/2007 21:47

Got to go..... forgot about hair dye.... only supposed tob be on for 30 mins.......Oh shit!.....been on over an hour.....

Lyra, we travel down to Cheshire tomorrow, stay overnight, then Mum and Dad, who have been visiting friends, pick us up and drive us to Wiltshire.

Will be in touch.........

binklehasflipped · 27/07/2007 22:14

no, not rubbing it in, sorry oggs, just couldnt remember where you said you were sat, but wherever you are I think its a pretty decent view. Was just trying to get a mental picture of from where you shall be enjoying the view of Lee from..

binklehasflipped · 27/07/2007 23:09

john barrowman on the friday night project now...

oggs, I'm concerned I've offended you

Please say its not so

LyraBelacqua · 27/07/2007 23:34

I've just spent far too long trawling the net for the Heat feature on Lee this week and come up with nothing. On Digital Spy they have several hundred posts on the Lee thread every single day Oh dear...
I do have half an eye on JB on Friday Night Project too.

binklehasflipped · 27/07/2007 23:36

the heat thing was nice actually. a big page close-up spread of him topless with LOTS of make-up on though lol

LyraBelacqua · 27/07/2007 23:38

Oh, rub it in why don't you Binkle.

binklehasflipped · 27/07/2007 23:43

aaaagghh!!! thought you were serious then!!

Just looked on heatworld.com but nothing doing I'm afraid - although there is a clip of him singing close every door on opening night on there...

oggsfrog · 28/07/2007 07:25

Shouldn't be here..... got far too many things to do before we go......

'Course you've not offended me....

In fact......bugger it

LyraBelacqua · 28/07/2007 19:22

Got my copy of Heat. Lovely big pic but not much of an article or review. No interview with Lee. A touch disappointing.

LyraBelacqua · 28/07/2007 19:23

Oggs, hope you had a good journey. Pop in here if you get a chance.

Berrie · 29/07/2007 08:09

Have not seen Heat yet, will have a nosey later...

Berrie · 29/07/2007 14:34

Right, have seen Heat. DH was amused to see me pick up a copy, shove it in the trolley, read it at the checkout, then dump it. While I'm at it...bloody Morrisons! Those stupid revolving doors! DS managed to nip in in front of me and I didn't have time to nip in after him with dd. Once he realised we were not there he panicked and the door kept stopping on him. A little old lady was pulling him out then trying to restrain him and he was in a HUGE panic and we were stuck in the doors which kept jamming as he struggled back in. Most unpleasant.

While I think about it, have any of Lyra's 'special friends' who know her real name looked her up? I'm not digging for info, it's just that I find myself reading political stories all of a sudden and analysing the prose style thinking, I wonder if that is Lyra/Lyra's DP...tee hee.

Berrie · 29/07/2007 15:23

Just bumping as Mumsnet seems to have wiped it off my 'threads I'm on' and replaced it with some old threads

LyraBelacqua · 29/07/2007 17:11

Berrie, you wont find my name on any political stories these days because i'm now a news editor, not a reporter, so i don't actually do the writing. DP writes for one of the national papers though so you may see his name all the time. Which papers do you read?
Sorry to hear about your DS, that mut have been so frightening for him. Sadly panicking is the worst thing he could have done because it just makes it worse. I hate those doors. How old is he?

Berrie · 29/07/2007 20:34

The Times mostly (Berrie crosses fingers in case this is a bad thing)

He will be 4 in November.

Berrie · 29/07/2007 21:10

Ah well, will stop studying the little photo's so hard!

Berrie · 29/07/2007 21:16

It's just you and me Lyra. Oggs is on her hols, Binkle is still recovering from hers and Slayerette is having a summer holiday love in with DH. Boing is a weekday sciver only

LyraBelacqua · 29/07/2007 21:20

We get The Times delivered, along with DP's paper
It's gonna be just you soon, I've got to go and read Harry Potter and/or watch my ADWD DVDs. DP's in Washington till Tuesday night so i can do as I please.

LyraBelacqua · 29/07/2007 21:21

I've eaten too many peanut M&Ms. Bleurgh.

LyraBelacqua · 29/07/2007 22:31

HP has gone unread yet again. i can't tear myself away from MN
Also, just bought a new car today, for the first time in 11 years, so am very excited and searching eBay for all kinds of boy-racer-style accessories
When i say new, I mean it's six years old, but it's new to me

binklehasflipped · 29/07/2007 22:36

wasnt it you who was looking at getting a crysler? what did you get in the end?

LyraBelacqua · 29/07/2007 22:41

A Chrysler PT Cruiser! In inferno red! it's being delivered on Wednesday and i can't wait. I shall spend my days polishing it till it gleams
