I thought it was time to move over here from Telly Addicts as we're now discussing Joseph the musical, and not Any Dream Will Do. The other thread was about to get too full anyway.

No, not an exciting life, just a busy week.
Berrie, I really don't iron at all. DP does his shirts but that's it. We do have a tumble dryer though and as long as I fold everything straight from the dryer they don't really crease too much. Body heat takes out any small creases. The few clothes I have that really do need ironing never get worn
I went to the doc this afternoon and both my boys have got scarlet fever. They're not that ill though.

Scarlet fever! Don't know what it is mind...

Slayerette, I used to go quite odd in the holidays pre children But I did summer school at the local comp. for a few years which helped! There are some interesting differences between us Junior and you secondary

BoingBoing · 27/07/2007 14:32

Scarlet fever?! didn't they always get that in Victorian novels? I hope they're ok.

My feet are killing me. This is what comes of wearing stilletos and schmoozing politicians for 2 hours over lunch. Booo. And the food was rubbish.

binklehasflipped · 27/07/2007 15:40

Hello, I'm back from sunny Portugal. it was roasting and now I am back in Baltic Blackpool and f-f-f-freeezing!!! Also, I'm not even tanned as I was slapping on the Factor 50 in fear of a crepey cleavage now I am 35 I need to start taking this stuff seriously!!

Lyra, was Tone sexy? I've always found him to be quite...charismatic shall we say.. (help?)

BoingBoing · 27/07/2007 16:27

Tone? Sexy? Did you catch too much sun in Portugal Binkle?

binklehasflipped · 27/07/2007 16:36

I know, I know, its sick and wrong!!

LyraBelacqua · 27/07/2007 17:14

Tone was nice but not sexy in any way.
Glad you had a good time in Portugal, it must be so depressing to be back in grey old miserable Britain.

binklehasflipped · 27/07/2007 17:16

tis a bit, mainly because of the mountain of washing taunting me from the utility room!

Looking forward to my next Jo encounter now though..

Berrie · 27/07/2007 17:16

Oh don't feel sorry for her she's been in the SUN
Welcome back Binks!
Lyra hope yours are feeling better.

LyraBelacqua · 27/07/2007 17:19

They are. Scarlet Fever has turned out not to be as dramatic as it sounds. DS1 was ill for a couple of days, DS2 was barely ill at all. but both are covered in a fine rash from head to toe and have weird shiny red strawberry tongues. DS2 is very proud of his banana flavoured amoxycillin

Berrie · 27/07/2007 17:20

You must have been really worried

LyraBelacqua · 27/07/2007 17:50

Not really, they were both much worse with chicken pox.

oggsfrog · 27/07/2007 20:47

Helloooooo.

Welcome back Binkle.Hope you had a nice time. Nice to have you back... ..... How long was the show? How long s the interval? Need to know.

Sorry your dss are poorly Lyra.

Just having a quick catch up while I dye my hair. Any typos are due to the fact that I can't see bugger all without my glassses.

I'm worried that I'm going to end up with crimson ers as the dye dripped all down the backs of them and I hadn't noticed. Dh has had to clean me up

Aaargh can feel drips....

binklehasflipped · 27/07/2007 20:55

Yes Lyra, sorry about your dc's being poorly, hope they're feeling better soon..

ok oggs, the show started at 7.30 and we were out on the street at 9.47 precisely

The interval was around 15 mins I think.

oggsfrog · 27/07/2007 20:59

Was it a wednesday Binkle? It normally starts at 7pm doesn't it?

binklehasflipped · 27/07/2007 21:01

No it was a saturday..we are going on monday 20th August next and that is 7.30 too. Are you sure you've got the right time?

binklehasflipped · 27/07/2007 21:02

it may be that the doors open at 7?

LyraBelacqua · 27/07/2007 21:02

I think one or two days are earlier than the rest.

LyraBelacqua · 27/07/2007 21:06

From the RUG site:
Performance Times
Mon, Wed to Sat evenings at 7.30pm
Wed and Sat matinees at 3pm
Tues eve at 7pm

binklehasflipped · 27/07/2007 21:07

that solves it

oggsfrog · 27/07/2007 21:22

Ooh. Must go and check.

Actually the worst that could happen is that we'd be half an hour early Better that than half an hour late

LyraBelacqua · 27/07/2007 21:23

Oggs, check two posts back and you'll have your answer.

oggsfrog · 27/07/2007 21:25

Blardy slow computer

binklehasflipped · 27/07/2007 21:26

Where are you sat again oggs?

oggsfrog · 27/07/2007 21:28
