I thought it was time to move over here from Telly Addicts as we're now discussing Joseph the musical, and not Any Dream Will Do. The other thread was about to get too full anyway.
Berrie, Oggsfrog, BoingBoing, Binkleandflip, Slayerette and any other fans, sign up here.

Ooh, her dh just whisked her off to bed so I think her kisses are reserved for others

My dh is still trying to find out whether we are going to need to keep building the ark or not.

We have to keep a Joseph thread going until next April, so no-one is allowed to bail out now!

LoonyLyraLovegood · 23/07/2007 22:52

It will have been going for more than a YEAR by then.

OP posts:
Berrie · 24/07/2007 08:05

Ho Ho Ho we had a row in bed

oggsfrog · 24/07/2007 08:13

I'm starting to worry that I might not be able to get to my Mum and Dad's, what with all the flooding.
Does anyone know if the motorways have been affected? I'll be using M6, M5, and M4....

Dd is sat watching Donny Osmond Joseph as I type

Welcome back Slayer, sorry you had a wet time of it

LoonyLyraLovegood · 24/07/2007 08:23

Oggs, I've already had a row on here on another thread about someone putting a spoiler in their nickname, then posting all over MN on random threads. most inconsiderate but people expect you to have finished it by now.
The M5 and M4 have been affected by flooding but are ok now as far as I know.
Berrie, what was the row about?

OP posts:
Berrie · 24/07/2007 08:33

Oh dear...are you sure you want to know, it's very silly!
Twas not really a row, more a disagreement and a sulk. He objected to something I was saying in fun and when he took the hump with no reason at all, I took the hump and listened to the radio so he took the hump thinking I was ignoring him so I took the hump because I always listen to the radio on the headphones while going to sleep so if he did say something I wouldn't hear him which he didn't as I only had 1 earphone in
So you were nearly right, we went to bed for a night of humping!

Oggs, how can you abandon us for HP? Tis only a book and we are your real life bestest Lee lusting friends!

slayerette · 24/07/2007 08:39

Berrie, sorry about the row but at the night of humping!
Sounds like me and dh - we had one of those stupid 'what we should be like as parents' disagreements the other night.

Berrie · 24/07/2007 08:49

Thanks for the tea, another biscuit please.

Berrie shudders at memory of M5 last month when it took 9 hours to get home and we did an average speed of 36mph due to 3 consecutive accidents...

Right off to buy some chocolate hobnobs. If anyone remembers me smugly talking about the half stone I easily lost ast month...it's nearly all back

slayerette · 24/07/2007 08:58

Well, if it's any comfort, I haven't weighed myself for about a month becase I'm too scared...
But we're about to walk to the library (run out of money this month and still a week to go - now whose idea was it to buy Joseph tickets? )because it's NOT RAINING! Woo-hoo!
See you all later!

Berrie · 24/07/2007 13:00

Oh poo, forgot the hob nobs...

slayerette · 24/07/2007 13:54

Am sneaking on to let you know:
review of Joseph with pics of bare-chested Lee in Heat today
and
dh has banned me from using MN during the day
so now I feel like a naughty teenager sneaking on the computer even though I'M NOT ALLOWED!

Berrie · 24/07/2007 14:18

How does he know, is he a teacher too or does he come back to a pig hole and put 2 and 2 together?

LoonyLyraLovegood · 24/07/2007 14:21

Banned?
How long were you spending on it during the day? It must look like I'm on here all the time but I just pop in for a few minutes beteen doing other things.
I think DP would like to ban me from MN in the evenings though because I don't talk to him any more

OP posts:
Berrie · 24/07/2007 14:25

I find it's often best not to talk to dh

slayerette · 24/07/2007 18:18

dh bathing ds so having a quick 5 mins before washing up...God, I sound like Cinderella, don't I?
Yes, he's a teacher too, Berrie - he's full time and I'm part time so during term time I could nip on here during the day in between other things when at home but now he's at home all day (God, what's it going to be like when we're retired??) and wasn't happy when I logged on this morning -just to check in with you all! - even though I only had the computer on to do our bloody accounts
He's not as draconian as the word banned sounds but I was a bit when he said that if ds wasn't allowed tv in the mornings during the holiday (which is what I'd said) then I wasn't allowed MN. Sounds reasonable - apart from the fact that ds is FOUR and I'm THIRTY FIVE! (Who said we seemed like we were all in our mid-thirties, btw? - spot on for me!)

LoonyLyraLovegood · 24/07/2007 18:50

DP did have a few words to say when he caught me logging on first thing in the morning. he moaned that he can never get on the computer these days. Funny, it never used to bother him before but now I'm on it so much, suddenly he wants to go on it. Just like the DSs wanting the toy the other one's got...
It was me who said we're all mid-30s (except Oggs - sorry ) I'm 35 too and iirc Berrie is too. (?)

OP posts:
Berrie · 24/07/2007 18:57

I'm 35!
I am 35
I'm thiiiiiiirty Fiiiiive!
35 I am

Birthday next month...

Berrie · 24/07/2007 19:01

Oh dear, with Oggs reading HP, Slayerette under the thumb, Binkle still away and Boing missing, probably having lunch with The Badger, things are going to be a bit quiet round here...
Anyone else got a freecycle habit? I just started today though I've been logged on a while. I missed a trampoline and a umbrella fold buggy today and I've asked for a scooter for ds.

LoonyLyraLovegood · 24/07/2007 19:04

What is this freecycle that I keep hearing so much about?

OP posts:
Berrie · 24/07/2007 19:15

Well, you join a local group or groups. Then if you've got something in the way that is too good to take to the tip really and you can't be bothered to sell, you can advertise it and someone might need it so they e-mail you and you give it them for free. Therefore, you can go on and see that someone is giving away a travelcot or collection of garden tools, for example, and you can e-mail and they might decide to give it to you. It shifts quick though which is why it could become a habit. Thirdly, you can post...Wanted, child's bike, (where you are based) and someone might see it and think, 'I've got one in the garage.'and they offer it to you... Does that make sense...Basically you can put up a wanted or offered post.

I did a link, I did a link! ...Hold on...

Berrie · 24/07/2007 19:18

Told you I'd learn!

Berrie · 24/07/2007 19:18

Ho ho ho ho hoooooo!

oggsfrog · 24/07/2007 20:57

Well done Berrie

Sadly I've not even got around to starting HP..... am too busy rounding up wayward chickens, tring to find small worms and slugs to feed to duckling, catching up with Everest of washing, getting ready to go away etc etc
