I thought it was time to move over here from Telly Addicts as we're now discussing Joseph the musical, and not Any Dream Will Do. The other thread was about to get too full anyway.
Berrie, Oggsfrog, BoingBoing, Binkleandflip, Slayerette and any other fans, sign up here.

20 years this November (give or take a break or two )

BoingBoing · 23/07/2007 11:51

You know what they say Berrie, "When the legend becomes fact, print the legend."
I like your version way better than the really really dull reality - it's closer to Lyra's smoky pubs But admiring the bullocks is a daily joy.

BoingBoing · 23/07/2007 13:22

tumbleweeds are blowing through here again...

LoonyLyraLovegood · 23/07/2007 14:49

I'd love to chat but I've got a sick DS, the house is a tip and I've got to wash the car because I'm still trying to sell it.

Oh Aye. Nowt like a gawp at a fine hairy bullock to start the day I always say.

BoingBoing · 23/07/2007 15:50
Grin
OggsfrogswartsExpress · 23/07/2007 20:20

Berrie nothing quite as romantic I'm afraid
Hmmmm, smoky bups seem to be the meeting place don't they?

We've been together 20 years this May. Married for 13.

slayerette · 23/07/2007 20:32

I'm back

God - it took me ages to catch up - and we weren't supposed to be back til Wednesday but the tent leaked and all our bedding got soaked so we fled the New Forest this morning and came back to civilisation (Worcester - so glad we live on quite high ground!

And you had a new thread and everything but i was very touched that my name got mentioned (even though it was me Berrie who made the comment about Dawn French - I'm so so sorry )

I have mid-length brown hair, wear equal mixture of trousers and skirts, and am not strictly arty although I teach English Lit so can talk convincingly about poetry and stuff.

Am thinking about my list of five and will post it soon...

LoonyLyraLovegood · 23/07/2007 20:39

Welcome back. We're highbrow cultured types now, you know.

OP posts:
slayerette · 23/07/2007 20:42

So I noticed! I'm impressed. Does this mean we have to stop - er -

  • lusting ?
LoonyLyraLovegood · 23/07/2007 20:44

I don't think so but probably shouldn't return to the days of the multi-coloured willy.

OP posts:
Whizzz · 23/07/2007 20:52

ermmmm - has anyone on this thread been to see the show, or are you just all stalking that poor guy off the telly ?

LoonyLyraLovegood · 23/07/2007 20:55

One seen it so far, another going next month, another in September etc. Why do you ask?

OP posts:
Whizzz · 23/07/2007 21:01

I originally thought this thread was a review of the show LOL but there seems to be lots of chat on ducks, days out & TV sightings of Lee whatshisname

Berrie · 23/07/2007 21:05

Yay! Slayerette is back! Sorry about the leaky tent...have been in several of those! In fact...don't remember any dry ones!

I forgive you my child..
Tee Hee...forgot all about the multi coloured willie!

Oggs, I shall continue to imagine your meeting with a lumberjack in a kilt if that's ok Do you think I was wise not to mention that I imagined Lyra's dp to be similar to Rod Liddle?

LoonyLyraLovegood · 23/07/2007 21:07

Whizzz, it started out as an Any Dream Will Do thread on Telly Addicts way back in March so we've been chatting for a while. Sorry to disappoint you.

OP posts:
LoonyLyraLovegood · 23/07/2007 21:08

Rod Liddle
Nothing like him.

OP posts:
Berrie · 23/07/2007 22:03

Tee Hee hee only joking my love!

slayerette · 23/07/2007 22:04

Hello, Berrie
I had forgotten about the multi-coloured appendages (that's my cultured word) too.
Whizzz - I have been to see a performance of Joseph (with Jason Donovan, don't tell the other girls) many years ago and co-directed one at the last school I worked at! So am not just here to talk about ducks and men...
So, the rest of you, my list of five men

Lee (well, duh)
James Marsters (yes you do know who that is, pay attention at the back, it's Spike off Buffy - him of the bleached blond barnet and amazing cheekbones
Daniel Craig (he's so manly in Casino Royale...)
Gordon Ramsay (I can't explain it, but sometimes people do know what I see in him)
Sean Bean (I do love my bad boys...)

Berrie · 23/07/2007 22:08

Mmmm thanks...munches soggy biscuit.
Spike off Buffy, had forgotten all about HIM !

Berrie · 23/07/2007 22:08

Twas the sexual tension more than his physical appeal though...

Berrie · 23/07/2007 22:11

Right Dh says it's time for bed... Night night!

slayerette · 23/07/2007 22:14

Ooh - imagine being whisked off to bed by your dh... Mine's watching the news to see if we're about to go under water.

Good night!

slayerette · 23/07/2007 22:19

This is the hundredth post on the new thread. Can I have my prize please?

LoonyLyraLovegood · 23/07/2007 22:31

Blimey, we're up to 100 posts already, a tenth of the way through. And this is thread number 4 or 5?
Your prize i a big wet kiss from Berrie (she doesn't know this yet )
