I thought it was time to move over here from Telly Addicts as we're now discussing Joseph the musical, and not Any Dream Will Do. The other thread was about to get too full anyway.

Mmm cinnamon swirls rather good too...just eaten both

Berrie · 21/08/2007 13:05

If we ever did meet up you'd spot me immediatly as the very fat one, with brown thumbs who is rather drunk...

Do you think we'd like each other in real life?

BoingBoing · 21/08/2007 13:52

Berrie you old lush - I think we have a great deal in common Make mine a large one....

I'll be the less fat one, desperately trying to shift the lumps of lard in the gym over my lunch hour - after all, I want Lee to be able to actually lift me up without getting a hernia when he carries me off into the sunset......

Berrie · 21/08/2007 14:04

Lordy, was wondering what you wanted him to lift you up FOR for a minute! Don't mind me, my imagination runs riot where Lee is concerned!

Hello All!!!

I'm back again!

The show was fabulous as per but even better than the first time!!

The cast are obviously getting increasingly comfortable in their roles and Lee has definately gained confidence since I saw him last month. He was a bit less intense and much more relaxed and playful - a perfect Joseph!!

A couple of technical glitches but nothing major - just another fantastical evening - dd was in a daze through most of it - I dont think she could quite believe it - at one part she asked if Lee was real or if he was a puppet !!

I noticed he's lost a little bit of weight since last month too, I could see his ribs a bit when he was singing in the spotlight in prison He wasnt quite as hot and sweaty as last time either - must have got used to the heat of the lights..turn 'em up I say!!

He was fab, they were all fab! Wish I was going next week, and the week after...etc to infinity..

Berrie · 21/08/2007 20:17

Glad you and dd had a great time Binkle!

oggsfrog · 21/08/2007 21:05

Aaarrgghhh Blardy computer.

I only wanted to say
" that should have been ", and it's taken me three quartters of a feckin hour to get this thread to load so I could say it

oggsfrog · 21/08/2007 21:14

Weird It's loaded really quickly now

Binkle I'm so glad you had a good time. Did you need dd's booster seat?

I'm the fat one with clumps of hair missing and an exasperated expression

Actually I don't care if Lee can't lift me to carry me into the sunset........ I'll just sling him over my shoulder and wobble off into the sunset. (diet not going well, can you tell?)

binkleandflip · 21/08/2007 21:24

oh oggs, it must be driving you crackers!

We had a nice guy again who brought us drinks, ice-cream again, showed us to our seats (he'd already put dd's booster in place for her - what a star!) and - get this - also advised us that if we wanted to hang around for twenty minutes or so at the end Lee came to the foyer to sign autographs, have photo's etc (because there is scaffolding up by the stage door entrance apparently) and he would be happy to introduce us !!

You'll probably think I'm crackers but I thought better of it

1/ because I know dd and I know that she would run a mile in shyness if he so much as looked at her so a photo opp with her out of the question

2/ I wasnt feeling very photogenic and comfortable myself (long story about an ill-advised too tight all in one undergarment that was seriously fatigued by 9.30 in the evening!)

and

3/ it was an absolute scrum in the foyer!! If I was going to be introduced to Lee I'd like it to be a bit more exclusive setting ie his dressing room!!

oggsfrog · 22/08/2007 07:05

Binkle

binkleandflip · 22/08/2007 08:27

I know I'm kicking myself a bit now!

Like I say I knew dd wouldnt entertain it, so she was already out of the equation...dh obviously wasnt bothered as he said "he was good and everything, but he's only been famous for a month so whats the point?"

He just doesnt get it does he??!

But I felt a bit uncomfy and not 'picture-with-Lee-ready'. Now, if we'd had been offered when it was me and my sis last time, we would have stampeded because we'd had a couple and probably would have had him trapped for hours!!

Lyra'll be there next - twice in two wks!! Cant wait for her report!!!

Berrie · 22/08/2007 08:31

Binkle...
I suppose the reality would just be embarrassing though...

binkleandflip · 22/08/2007 08:40

exactly!

I like to keep him firmly in fantasy zone - not have to wrestle through a scrum of overexcited women of an age that should know better (ahem...like myself ) to have a picture.

Now, like I said, if the scenario was to go up alone to his dressing room, well, that I could entertain because he'd still be performance side of the stage dahhhhling!

binkleandflip · 22/08/2007 08:44

...but that wasnt on offer the blardy spoilsports!!

I'm worried about him losing weight tho, at one point he took a deep breath to do a long note and his belly button when in that far that I thought his loincloth might slip off!

Berrie · 22/08/2007 09:12

Tee hee hee...and with your daughter watching too...shame on you! He'd just have had a pair of nasty white y fronts on you know!

binkleandflip · 22/08/2007 09:16

no, no, I'm sure he's quite naked under there

We were sat on the aisle this time - one of the brothers (quite a nice one too) came dancing at the end of our row at the end and waved to dd - had to stop myself waving back from two foot away

Berrie · 22/08/2007 09:18

Sounds great fun...will you go again?

binkleandflip · 22/08/2007 09:25

I'd really like to go again, but we dont live nearby so it always takes a bit of planning.

I'd quite like to see Lewis doing it too but I dont know if I'll get to go when he's on.

Berrie · 22/08/2007 09:42

Long way to go for Lewis!

BoingBoing · 22/08/2007 09:52

Oh no . Do you think my dream's coming true and he's becoming disappointingly skinny?!! I DO hope not.
Maybe we should club together and sent him a catering size pack of steak and onions?! Either that, or if you can wait until the autumn, Kitty's for the chop (she doesn't seem to be able to get herself up the duff). I'll then have half a tonne of prize beef to get rid of that I'm not allowed to sell.

Berrie · 22/08/2007 10:37

Berrie has sudden image of Boing leading Kitty to London and into Adlephi where Lee awaits on stage with a large knife and fork and a cloth around his neck panto style...

BoingBoing · 22/08/2007 10:45

Don't forget the onions, Berrie. And as our very own Good Lifer, maybe you could help?

As for you Binkle, you've definitely flipped. Bad hair day or no bad hair day, I'd have scrambled over the other harridans in the foyer to get that photo!!!

Berrie · 22/08/2007 10:59

Boing, I think that she couldn't risk not being able to control herself in front of DH and DD

I'm down your way next month Boing, will bring my cow lead and a sack of onions!
