I thought it was time to move over here from Telly Addicts as we're now discussing Joseph the musical, and not Any Dream Will Do. The other thread was about to get too full anyway.

Guess what, had a friend from university stay for a couple of days and she TAUGHT Lewis when he was an infant...I feel so old!He was a lovely boy apparantly and had oodles of talent even then.

Me either. But I also read on the Forum site that he's going to take over from Lee when he's on his hols, and possibly an extra show in the week as well. Maybe he's getting some tips!

Must be...interesting that they didn't want Keith...actually, not interesting, why would they want Keith? I liked Lewis, he was always my number two but I certainly wouldn't 'do' him like I would Lee. Maybe just too young (as if Lee isn't ) or perhaps you are right about him Boing.

Interesting about Lewis - DH and I had speculated why he might be there. We also said we could never ever imagine Keith being able to fill the role.

Terrible news has arrived. My best mate who I'm spending the weekend with for the first time in about a million years (definitely pre-babies) has told me she's on some diet and is totally off booze!!!! Now far be it from me to encourage others' alcoholic tendencies, but don't you think she should take the weekend off?! I'm just going to have to get totally plastered with her DH instead. Grrrr. No swanky wine bars for us whilst DH babysits then.

I'm slowly getting fat and going on holiday to France next week is not going to help. But DS2 starts nursery in September so I'll be free for 2.5 hours a day so I can go to the gym. That's the plan, anyway.

I remember when he was kneeling before Pharoah, with his back to the audience, and I was studying the Microphone wire which emerged from the top of his loincloth and disappeared into his gold headpiece. It was secured with a piece of tape in the small of his back... I want that person's job. Imagine stroking his back every night .
This was when I was studying the soles of his feet too

p.s. have asked musical theatre friend if he wants to go to see Joseph with me so long as he can take me backstage just as Lee relieves himself of his loin cloith! ...Expect no action as always but the fantasy is there!

We leave on Tuesday for two weeks. I've done zero preparation though, we've got DS1's 5th birthday party on Sunday so once that's over we can turn our minds to holidays.
