I thought it was time to move over here from Telly Addicts as we're now discussing Joseph the musical, and not Any Dream Will Do. The other thread was about to get too full anyway.

oggs, which was your favourite overall bit?

I liked Lee in the pit with the snake, 'one more angel in heaven' and the megamix where they are all in white

I've got the Stones version of Paint it Black on my iPod but I can't listen to it after hearing Lee's version. Jagger just doesn't cut the mustard.

And a sound plan Berrie on my mate. I get pissed, and she has to listen to my moaning whilst sober. I bet she has at least one by the time I've finished! Serves her right. She's been overweight for the last 20 years I've known her, what's a couple more days?

Favourite bits were the Mrs Potiphar scenes, the snake pit thingy 'cos we were so high up we could see Lee throwing himself around behind the wall , the bit when Lee and the narrator sang Poor, Poor... to the snake, the scene in the jail with the butler (dd and I love the butler esp when he says to Pharoah "I know of a bloke in jail", Pharoah's Song, Go, Go, Go Joseph when Lee dances, the bit when Mrs Potiphar thrusts Lee's face between her boobs , the bit where Mrs Potiphar grabs Lee's bum and he goes up on his toes, the megamix, Those Canaan Days, the Apache Dancer, the Benjamin bit when Lee looks all masterful and stern , the bit when he comes on in the chariot with the golden breastplate with prominent nipples ........ah hell. I love it all. I love the songs.
Best bits were whenever Lee was on stage

You know those clips that none of us could play on this site?????? Whenever I tried to play it I just got a screen full of gibberish.

Woooo Hoooo I've just managed to view one and it's brill. Will really give you a feel for the show. The only one I've viewed up to now is the first one, the montage.

Rather than left clicking it to play, I right clicked it and "saved link as...". Once it was downloaded I right clicked the icon and opened it. Then pressed play. AND. IT. WORKED. and it is really good quality.

Now I've got to figure out how to copy them all onto a disc before I go home......

Lyra, did you get that dvd of the whole series of Any Dream Will Do in the end??

These clips are fantastic quality and are taken from the show. You even get to see him descending on Any Dream Will Do at the beginning of the show.
Just need to work out how to transfer them onto a cd.

They are good enough quality to play on your TV. Oddly enough they came from Canada. I ordered them from someone called Reality14 on DigitalSpy. You just have to message him and then pay through paypal and he'll post it to you on four discs.
