The last film that made me all snotty from laughing like a crazy person was Little Miss Sunshine. Made even funnier by the fact i was watching it in my village hall, and was the youngest person there by 40 years, and no one else was finding it very funny.

Before that Bottle Rocket made me cry laughing alot - i loved it, but have never met anyone else whose seen it.

What films make you laugh so much it hurts?

The first time I watched Sister Act made me roar with laughter, now if dd watches it I just can't help joining in with the singing! Don't think I've seen anything more recent that makes me lol. I always get a mental block on threads like this!

themoon66 · 24/04/2007 22:55

Little Miss Sunshine was wonderful!

Also, that old Mel Brooks film about the hospital for the very-very nervous. High Anxiety I think it's called.

trippleshot · 25/04/2007 08:56

Dodge Ball - incredibly low rent but very funny. Best in Show is brilliant too.

powder28 · 25/04/2007 08:59

Swizzler, I love Bedazzled

Boco · 25/04/2007 09:00

Dumb and dumber - the bit that always makes me laugh is when he's talking about getting a john deer letter

Does the shaun the sheep series count?

Wilbur · 25/04/2007 09:19

Ditto Gregory's Girl, and also All of Me with Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin. More recent stuff - loved Little Miss Sunshine, and Anchorman which was silly in the extreme.

Boco · 25/04/2007 09:25

Anchorman is really funny! What is his brilliant insult - something like 'silly hooker pirate'

And All of Me! Also The Idiot and the Man with Two Brains.

And Trading Places
