The last film that made me all snotty from laughing like a crazy person was Little Miss Sunshine. Made even funnier by the fact i was watching it in my village hall, and was the youngest person there by 40 years, and no one else was finding it very funny.

Before that Bottle Rocket made me cry laughing alot - i loved it, but have never met anyone else whose seen it.

What films make you laugh so much it hurts?

The Jerk "well, mom, I have finally found my special purpose", the Man with Two Brains, All of Me - Steve Martin is one of the funniest people alive. Even a schmaltzy cop-out like Trains, Planes is worth sitting through for the airport car parking scene and the giant kecks. Plus the fried hire-car, etc, etc.
Laurel and Hardy's Music Box and Sons of the Desert are pretty hilarious too.

Does anyone else think that Will Ferrell might be Steve Martin's successor as most ridiculously funny man in Hollywood?
I still haven't caught up with Talladega Nights or Anchorman but he is superb in Zoolander and that ice-skating romp looks too

Mel Brooks' "The Producers". The scene where the singers and dancers first perform ' Springime for Hitler' in full Nazi regalia is beyond side splitting.....words cannot describe it. Truly the funniest film of all time in my humble opinion!!

Radio Days Woody Allen

franca70 · 26/04/2007 14:50

Another vote for zoolander here as well and mel brooks the producers.
Woody Allen's love and death (not love and war) and when he is chased by the giant boob, in the sleeper, I think.
