Photo not great but it has 3 stones & a Pearl

ememem84 · 31/07/2021 14:00

@Happierwithouthim

Were they accidents?
Not sure. Knowing dd probably not. Strong willed that one….
ememem84 · 31/07/2021 14:03

happier that’s so pretty!!

£40 riding. Jumped high again. Yay!

Moved some money around to pay kitchen deposit, and to pay off joint things on credit card.

DM gave dd some money for her birthday cash so I transferred money to her account and kept the cash.

This afternoons plans are to shift some toys about so we’re a bit tidier.

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/07/2021 14:31

Hope today goes as well as it can gen

marthasmum · 31/07/2021 15:35

Sorry for your loss gen
Fab news about the job north, sounds great
£60 ish at Costco and bought a Man City football shirt for DS2 which was his birthday present from my mum. Those things are expensive (49 with discount) but he will wear it obsessively to get his money’s worth.
I am now planning to go for a healthy, and free walk with friend

SingToTheSky · 31/07/2021 15:49

Lovely ring happier ❤️
Yay north well done!

Don’t even want to consider how much has been spent lately. Most notably the new sofa. So bloody comfy though.

Mrsmadevans · 31/07/2021 16:40

NSD today Halo

CamdenLurker · 31/07/2021 17:54

Mrs - triathlon was amazing, I've watched it three times! They seem like such a great bunch too. Did you catch the BMX finals? It's pretty scary how fast they go over the course Nd the bikes are tiny Shock

We did watch the BMX finals Grin My bad legs were cycling like mad and l was raising my aching bum to get over the bumps as well it was soooo exciting . Beth Shriever was just amazing . When she said she had worked so hard to get to there, l knew she had because it is so hard . Brilliant girl !
Gensola · 31/07/2021 21:11

We are on the way back, thanks all for your good wishes 💜
DH did such an amazing job of the eulogy, am really proud of him.
We stopped at a little country pub and had dinner halfway home to break the drive up, it was nice just to sit quietly the two of us.

northender · 31/07/2021 21:16

Did some frugal stuff today. Cancelled old insurance policy within 14 day cool off period so wasn't charged cancellation fee. Sorted out our aim only mobile deals with virgin so they are now all under one account & we get a discount as a result.

northender · 31/07/2021 21:16

SIM only not aim!

CamdenLurker · 31/07/2021 21:58

Mrs - don't want to derail but did you know that Beth Shreiver had to work to pay her way to Tokyo 2020 as UK sport decided only to support the male BMX team with funding? Angry

Ahh Gen I feel for you lovely. Your poor Dh and you. It is so horrible a task. That is what it is, a task that has to be be done . I am glad you managed to get some time out, it is so healing to get that small time alone together Smile

I didn't know until you just said Shock, she has done so so well despite the funding . At least that will all change now that she has won Gold. Terribly unfair and biased but then what's new ! Time and time again it is blatant discrimination , l share your anger @CamdenLurker Angry
Gensola · 31/07/2021 22:10

@CamdenLurker I just read that earlier today, makes her all the more incredible and impressive but also is really offensive and sexist of the funders Angry

Mrsmadevans · 01/08/2021 08:21

Morning everyone 😀
Just over the moon with the BMX gold medal from Charlotte Worthington. She was incredible!
To think these women achieved this standard, with no funding is just amazing . Team GB should be ashamed of themselves.
I hope you all get a chance to see her event . She did a 360 flip , l am very excited as you can tell 👏👌👍😀😊
Had to share my joy with you all , it's just wonderful, makes me feel better about my damn back and leg pain 😀

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/08/2021 08:25

I think it’s appalling about the bmx team, blatant sexism. Haven’t watched it yet though,

Spending day £42 pet shop, £58 Aldi,&3 £shop, £14 Iceland
Dh let his glasses on the sofa arm. New reading glasses needed. Been very good at not saying he shouldn’t have left them at puppy level

Taking pup to meet horses today

Mrsmadevans · 01/08/2021 09:44

Life truly amazing ride from the BMX ladies ,so inspiring like a dream come true 😁
That's very good if you're not to say anything about the glasses 🤗 enjoy the pup meeting the horses am sure they will love each other 😊

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/08/2021 12:08

Pup was excellent at the farm. He met one of the horses and most were in the field, a myriad of cats and ate lots of horse poop.

Nsd so far today

Wolfcub · 01/08/2021 12:33

Fantastic Life glad He liked the horses. Be really careful with the horse poop - there are diseases horses can pass on which can be fatal (I know this from very sad experience) and that dogs aren't vaccinated against.

ememem84 · 01/08/2021 12:53

£18 beach cafe for breakfast. Me the two dc and ddad. Mums away so dsis and I take it in turns to look after him. Not that he needs it. But it’s nice to have dad time without mum.

Walk along the harbour to see the castle and a stop at another coffee shop. Ddad loves a coffee!
