Just caught up. Girlie i once had a back tooth taken out rather than let them try anymore treatment. Tooth pain is horrid. Away trekking in middle of nowhere at moment. Bizarre that we still have internet. All meals included so that has stopped me spending!

maddenlightfoot · 12/06/2019 06:53

Ooh where are you trekking rightway? A 4:30am message sounds somewhere adventurous!

I got to sleep far too late 💤 - a combination of watching Years and Years and reading a really good book (Moving by Jenny Eclair) meant I didn't turn off the light til midnight and then my mind was whirring.

A few spends yesterday - £60 on shopping and £8 on a gift.

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/06/2019 07:21

Well the storm had hit here. WFH today as got school assembly. Nsd planned today. Baking needs to be fine for a fund raiser at work too.
Tobago and Devon both sound fab.
Yes Cag defo worth getting the next size up in the sale.
The single parent holidays sounds fab. Hope your can get one those who need it.

ememem84 · 12/06/2019 07:31

cag that’s what I do - next size ups in the sale and also gifts for dnephews from joules and jojo. One was born in June so winter in nz. And Christmas there is summer time so can make the sales work!!

Holidays sound fab.

Nsd here as am staying home today. Ds was awake at 2 because of his snottycold. He went back to sleep. Dh went back to sleep. I couldn’t.

So have taken the day. Just waiting for dh and ds to leave and then I can settle down for a bit more of a sleep.

New bed arriving tomorrow so dh needs to break down our bed tonight. He has more than likely forgotten he has to do this. And won’t be able to do it himself but I’ve said twice I cannot physically help him. And if he needs help he has to ask someone else.

Girliefriendlikescake · 12/06/2019 12:54

So went back to the dentist and he took the tooth out 😵 I was a shaking, wailing mess bit shocked that he just did it there and then but glad the tooth has gone and that it hopefully means no more pain!!

Dd has also been back to the orthodontist this morning, spent £4.50 on some brace cleaner thingys (might see if can get cheaper elsewhere) and £1.20 parking.

Have just done my dad a Father's Day Moonpig card £7. He is off on holiday on Saturday so won't get to see him and got him a large card instead of a card/gift!!

Happierwithouthim · 12/06/2019 14:26

girlie hopefully that's an end to the pain for you, now to get to know your mouth minus the tooth, takes a bit of getting used to.

Weekly shop from Tesco being delivered this evening €120 plus €20 for two teeth whitening sets - they're 1/3 of the reg price and I'm giving one to my sister.

Wolfcubisthefemalenominal · 12/06/2019 17:08

Happierwithouthim · 12/06/2019 18:47

Wolfcubisthefemalenominal · 12/06/2019 19:16

It’s Eat Well for Less at 8 folks

ememem84 · 12/06/2019 19:37

Nsd. I napped until around 1130 then got up and plonked my arse on the couch and binge watched “high seas” on Netflix.

Dh and Ds are home. Ds is tired snotty and yet still full of energy. Dh feels dreadful too. Sore throat. Full of cold.

He’s moaning about it but I have told him that I do sympathise however TAKE ALL THE DRUGS because at least you can!!!!

ememem84 · 12/06/2019 19:38

Me too. But I love the spice cupboard.

Their kitchen looks like dm’s!!!

We swear we could live at dparents for at least 3 months without needing to shop.

Two fridges two freezers multiple store cupboards a larder and they buy long life milk for emergencies. Also dad has a wine cupboard and a booze cupboard.

I reckon Ynescorted’s spice cupboard could give them a run for their money. I’d love to have it too. Mine is good but not that good

Wolfcubisthefemalenominal · 12/06/2019 20:42

I reckon Unescorted’s spice cupboard could give them a run for their £420 but I’d love to have it too
