Good on you em. The dog won't grow out of it unless trained. Meh to gf. It's a bad owner who allows their dog to do that.
Sounds amazing micro.
Budget for present for 7yo?
Having a bake/ cook day today to use stuff up before it goes off. Also I'm away Tuesday in the city of steel.

I can’t believe we haven’t had a new thread since May! We are definitely less chatty and more busy than before.

Sea we are having meatballs tomorrow that’s what my ragu is for.

Life good start to the list. I will have a think and see what we i can add to it

Windowsill done
Watering done
Scout manky washing on
Vaccumed and disinfected everywhere ds has been since getting home (only half kidding)

New thread for when this fills up www.mumsnet.com/Talk/credit_crunch/3631803-Frugal-Friends-planning-saving-and-considerate-spending-through-July-and-August?watched=1

Spent €6.52 in Lidl

3 x litres of milk
Parma ham
Poppy seed vienna loaf
Pain au Chocolat

Verrry hot today (for Ireland). The car temperature gauge was reading 20 degrees.

I had a late lunch al fresco. It was lovely except for all the buzzing insects.

I'm going to take in my washing and then do a bit of weeding in the shady part of the garden. Dinner will be quick and easy. I'm taking advantage of DD's absence to make an omelette. I've some peppers and mushrooms to use up.

Wow moi your trip must have been amazing.

Tagine
I chop potatoes, carrots, a red onion, red pepper, cherry tomatoes, fresh coriander, give it all a wash. Then put it all in a bowl with a bit of olive oil, ground cumin, paprika and a bit of saffron and some salt. Mix to combine.
In a non stick pan, cover the bottom with water, when it simmers add the veg, give it a good mix, put a lid on it and leave for 10 minutes. Remove lid, give it a stir, add more water leave for about another 10 minutes.
Serve with cous cous or small pasta like orza.
To make sure everything cooks evenly I cut the carrots pretty thinly

Dog was super jumpy again. And a bit nippy this time gave me a nip and kept jumping up at ds. HE was fine again when dog was on my lap and he could pat him but if dog was loose he didn’t like it. Fil and gf who were there As well thought it was funny.

Dh told them off. Eyes were rolled.

Puppy is cute admittedly. But still.

Swimming today. Ds did his best swimming to date. #proudmummy

We had this tonight and half portion was ample for 3 as a side dish. I would eat it as a main with veg. It's from touch of nom

Today we got moving so late that everything was shut so managed the first nsd this month.

Yes, it was an amazing trip, we all met for my parents' 40th anniversary and for my family to meet/spend time with ds. He really loved playing with his cousins again. Smile

Woo hoo, I’ve been contacted by the PTA to say that I won a champagne tea for two at Fortnum and Mason in the school fete raffle ShockGrin. Quite ironic, give the amount of cake I provided! I don’t tend to win things so feel absurdly chuffed.

I will post my list of go-to meals when I get the chance to finish it. I was compiling it for the purposes of meal planning for our holiday (and to try to stay on track with slimming world) but have been extending it as a general prompt list and it’s already useful!

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 07/07/2019 23:48

Oh, well done Sea!

Wolfcubisthefemalenominal · 08/07/2019 05:38
