Amazing sea!

Back to work today Sad car is frozen too but it's very sunny.

Cagliostro · 25/02/2019 08:14

Lovely sea!

Thanks lonely I shall keep it for her shoes then. I’m not actually sure if her first ones still fit, as she favours wellies. Grabs them and tries to put them on, plus her coat, and climbs into the stroller. She’s like a dog with a lead telling us she wants to go out. All. The. Time. :o

I must make a proper list of what I will use the other £75 for on amazon. There is a lot of stuff that I’ve been putting off buying, which was a bit silly TBH because now it’s a lot to do at once. But some things are still more important than others. Need to order our wardrobe and the Caglets’ desks too, but that will use money from the (rapidly dwindling) ISA.

ememem84 · 25/02/2019 11:18

Pretty!!

Cagliostro · 25/02/2019 14:47

Aaah bollocks. Well it turns out the much reduced pay last month wasn’t a mistake, the mistake was what his boss told him about how much time off sick was at full pay. 🤦‍♀️ So we are a bit screwed in the short term. Not dangerously so, and we have savings etc anyway, but will have to very much rein it in over the next couple of months. Hopefully he will get this job he’s applied for anyway.

WreckTangled · 25/02/2019 15:44

Oh no cag at least you have some savings, we haven't got any Blushand would be completely screwed.

Nsd. Aiming for a ns week (until Friday when I have the dentist 😩)

AdoraBell · 25/02/2019 15:50

Yikes Cag glad you’ve got savings.

NSD for me today. DH has nought bread and coffees out. I’m going to use Boots points for shampoo.

Love the hand decor Sea 😁

ememem84 · 25/02/2019 16:13

Nsd here too for personal spends anyway. Dh treated me to lunch. And he bought fruit.

ememem84 · 25/02/2019 16:13

Actually that’s a lie. I bought cough medicine and sinus rinse (glamorous) in boots.

Cagliostro · 25/02/2019 16:27

Yes I would really like to avoid using more of the savings TBH but needs must. We have also been discussing what to do about the credit card. We do the standing order trick, at £125 a month (minimum is now £9 :o) and it’s on 0% so we were all set to pay it off in full in Jan, or by the end of the year by throwing an extra £48 at it at some point. However, can we now afford to? We have decided to leave it for now as it will only be one more crappy month if DH gets this job. But if he doesn’t then we will cut it down. As it would be crazy to go into the overdraft or something instead and get all the charges.

I haven’t even set up my help to save account thingy yet, DH has, we don’t want to stop that as the bonus is just amazing.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 25/02/2019 17:23

Lovemaltesers · 25/02/2019 20:17

I definitely don't have any live ones. But I scratch my scalp a lot anyway as a stress thing.

I itch all over now!!

Wolfcub · 25/02/2019 20:43

NSD

Booked holiday with dparents so per df some money

Have overspent this mo tha nd consequently haven’t saved as much a S I would have liked but two birthdays, summer childcare deposit, brexit stocking and MOT have contributed to that. However some of it has just been week before payday slackness. I think there’s a real risk for me in being so tight and controlled at the start of the month that I get toward the end and just feel fed up of being tight/deprived miserable. Really need to address this

Ds is still awake. He’s been in bed now since 730. I’ve lost all patience with him. I am exhausted. I need sleep. He gets cuddly when he’s lying on me. And almost falls asleep. The minute I move he’s wide awake.

Dh is ignoring it. Ear plugs in. He won’t help me. Have shouted at him and have told him I need sleep. He needs to help me. He needs to take over. But no. Leave ds to cry.

So ds is on bed with me. I’ve given him ibruprofen. Hoping he goes to sleep soon. Because I have only eaten half my dinner. And I’m starving. And I need to do some stuff for tomorrow still. Ffs.

I told dh I needed to sleep so badly I was contemplating booking myself into a hotel. I was only half joking.
