So, I’ve booked the hotel for London and have had to pay marathon prices. Negated thankfully by the number of Holiday Inn loyalty points DH has accumulated taking it to more like Premier Inn costs.
Two good things
One of the girls from the running club has offered to have my dogs for the marathon weekend, she has 4 rescue spaniels already and won’t hear a word of not having them. Says it’s because I’ve done nothing but encourage her since she joined, I’m not entirely sure that’s true, but I’m not going to turn a kind offer down.
DD has another offer, Sheffield with very attainable grades (hopefully).
Lamb and veggie tagine for dinner with giant couscous. Instant pot in use again.
