Oh Snuggly Flowers
Can you take them to a park and make them run around ?
I used to run them until they were too exhausted to squabble Blush

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 10/08/2018 11:52

Struggling to keep up!

girlie if you haven't found a dress yet I've bought some from dolly and dotty before. Bought a stunning one in their sale for £3.50 and DH said I looked very ladylike and sexy which is very different to his 'its alright' which I normally get 😂 I've also had some from hell bunny - their petticoats are amazing. I wore a deep purple one under my 50s style wedding dress.

Welcome back jam I'm sorry things have been hard.

Have spent £14.85 this morning on personalised Christmas decorations buy one get one free from the crafty giraffe. Bought MIL her 2 dogs with their names and unicorns for my dds. £20 in Lidl and £8.50 in co op yesterday.

Got to brave the rain soon and take my eBay parcels to the hermes drop off point . Girls are upset as we aren't going to the beach like I wrote on the calendar.....

www.hotukdeals.com/deals/argos-home-24cm-stainless-steel-stock-pot-7l-now-599-argos-3009749 Big stock pot for batch cooking.

SnugglySnerd · 10/08/2018 11:56

Thanks. The dts are napping now and I've promised DD I'll play with her when I've finished my cup of tea. I'm looking forward to when the dts can walk properly and things like the park will be a bit easier!

Wrongwayup · 10/08/2018 12:07

welcome back Jam - what happened with the pony - did the life change mean you couldn't keep him anymore - very sorry if this is the case - know you were very attached to him

CurlsandCurves · 10/08/2018 13:12

Glad to hear you can out your feet up for a bit Snuggly

I’m so happy, my nurses appointment went really well! Bp is down, weight is down, she was really positive and encouraging. My Bp is not quite where it needs to be but it’s safe enough for her to not increase my meds but rather see me again in 12 weeks when I will have lost more weight and this will improve my bp.

So I’m taking it as a 12 week challenge and feeling very positive about it. I actually got a bit emotional!

WreckTangled · 10/08/2018 13:19

Well done curls!

Cagliostro · 10/08/2018 13:25

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 10/08/2018 13:33

Great news curls!

SnugglySnerd · 10/08/2018 13:44

Brilliant Curls!

Thatsnotmybookworm · 10/08/2018 13:44

That's fantastic @CurlsandCurves. Sounds like your success will give you the motivation you need to keep going.

Spends today:
£3 magazine (a very rare purchase for me but I'm having lunch out solo and forgot my Kindle so I treated myself).

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/08/2018 13:59

Well done Curls

NSD.

Bornlazy · 10/08/2018 14:02

Have reserved that pot Fluffy now to find the motivation to batch cook Wink

Well done Curls that'll be a relieve for you.

Spent £70 in Lidl and £15 in Aldi. Can't be bothered putting it all away, this is one of the chores I hate most. Still need to clean the house too - I suppose I'd better get cracking!

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/08/2018 14:15

I'm doing a big lamb tagine tomorrow Born, I'll freeze two portions then serve with flatbreads. I use a slow cooker so I'll mix the marinated meat with veg and basically walk away.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 10/08/2018 14:18

That's fantastic curls are you following any particular plan losing weight?

I hate putting shopping away too born that and washing. I'm on a cleaning mission today. Struggling to motivate myself. Just want to curl up with my cosy cover, kindle and a cup of tea 😂

northender · 10/08/2018 14:25

Fantastic stuff curls I'm on a long term fitness & weight loss mission so I know how emotional it can be.
Snuggly hope your day improves, DC can push all the buttons
En route to beach via WiFi zone. Should be a low spend day today

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 10/08/2018 15:01

Home now, we got caught in the rain and got very very wet.
Was fun though!
Now dry and enjoying a Brew

CurlsandCurves · 10/08/2018 15:15

Aw you guys! I’m filling up again reading all your lovely comments, it means so much I can’t tell you.

nocuts I’m doing weight watchers. The new Flex plan has been a revelation for me, I’ve found it so easy to follow.

born putting shopping away is my worst job too, along with putting washing away.

WreckTangled · 10/08/2018 15:20

I hate putting the shopping away and folding the washing. It's ok in the summer because I fold it as I get it off the line but in the winter when I have to pull it all out of the drier etc it's such a pita!

BreatheSlower · 10/08/2018 15:20

Well done Curls, that's brilliant that you've made such progress. I hope the next 12 weeks go really easily for you.

I've finished rebuilding my instrument now and am trying to honk it. It half honks, but now like a proper foghorn, which is really what's wanted. I am pondering

Thatsnotmybookworm · 10/08/2018 15:26

Happy Belated Birthday @BreatheSlower. Great that you are feeling better.

£2 on lunch (I searched this morning and found a voucher with a small balance on it; that paid for the rest so frugal win).

BreatheSlower · 10/08/2018 15:28

Not like a proper foghorn I mean. Smile

SnugglySnerd · 10/08/2018 16:50

Yes my day improved, we went to soft play which was less busy and hellish than I expected but I did buy as each a big chocolate cookie because I wanted one so it ended up being a bit spendy. Saved my sanity though so worth it!

LonelyOversharer · 10/08/2018 16:56

Thats the first day at work where I was clock watching for 4pm! Just not feeling it today. Tense about having the "computer says no" chat with a stranger tomorrow as well.

£20 fuel, much needed, but my little car drives better than it ever has! Was a joy to drive home with the Greatest Showman soundtrack on, and 2 girls with Hmm faces on.

Have run my most hideous credit card figures through a spreadsheet. Finally. If I pay just this months minimum payment on each, I'll clear the first one in 4 years, then the biggest in 8. So I can print all that out and take it tomorrow. But I do always pay over the minimum. A loan would be the best idea, but don't think they'll go for it. I've told dp I won't be upset if when they turn me down, but I know I'm going to be gutted.

ememem84 · 10/08/2018 16:57

Busy day.

Spa this morning, full body massage head massage facial and foot massage. Naice.

Treated dh for lunch £16.

Then went home took the big mirror down carefully, turns out the wall behind it has no damage. Phew.

Toon bed in ds’ room apart and have sorted another bag for the charity shop. Catface slept under the bed. So I’ve had to clear about four cat worths of hair. Ick.

Taken clean bedding to dparents. And been to look at a house. Not for us though. Marketed as a 3 bed but only really a 2. And the garden faces the wrong way.
