No we didn't. It was the best home possible. Local, two DC, a very close friend knows the family. They ride for he same Pony Club as we did.
They approached us at a competition, asked to try him. First person to sit on him would buy him, I knew that - he's a 'push button' as they say. He wasn't even up for sale. Sold him for a profit but they also bought the horse box, tack and pretty much everything too.
So we are there one evening agreeing to sell and they don't quibble any price, and then a week later they collect him, and the box, and everything else and I've got £££ extra in the bank and we are heartbroken. And everything is gone.
But he's out competing and being loved and used and doing his thing, even doing dressage and jumping and everything we didn't have time for, and we have a wobble but then we remember this is right for him. Early for us, but good for him.
