Cleared out the dead things in the fridge ready for Ocado delivery later. I have added some sad spinach to my Mexican bake, not Mexican but better than wasting it.

Laska5772 · 29/04/2018 18:23

wolf our fridge is the cold composter. The burgers themselves are mince, small handful of garlic and herb breadcrumbs, half an onion chopped really finely, mustard, grated parmesan, Worcestershire sauce,, salt pepper. Then when shaping them put a bit of blue cheese in them..... It melts and then makes a lovely gooey sauce when you bite into it. You are now expected to abide by the Official Secrets Act unless you are torturing an evangelical vegan.

Em I am always stunned by the price of properties where you are. It makes London look cheap.

Laska5772 · 29/04/2018 18:37

...actually no, I think its on a busy main road..not suitable for catface ..

Unescorted · 29/04/2018 18:38

I have a verrryy tired dd1. She was asleep before tea! Just the £5 meal deal from the co-op with a £3 pack of extra chicken. Left over onion rings too. £12 in there as needed milk etc. I bought 6 pints yesterday and it's already gone.

Most annoyingly, dd1's group turned up exactly 2 minutes after I had fed £3.20 into the car park. That was the minimum spend. Tourist car park or what. We drove out over Hartside, the view was incredible today.

We were too late leaving home for tea and cakes in a tea shop, so that saved us loads (as theres loads of us).

unescorted I have pulled my seeds from the greenhouse, am very happy to post you a lucky dip if you pm me your address. Most are this or last years Marshalls seeds, if the others are too old to germinate you've lost nothing anyway. Do you have room for a windowsill propergator to get things going? I have peas and beans germinating outside (sunny bed) but have a greenhouse batch as well.

I an back to meal planning for may. I went off piste this month, just buying a few days food at a time, like I used to. Only difference is I now feel so bad and wasteful for doing this!

Mummingainteasy · 29/04/2018 18:55

Thank you for the welcomes!

Im here to help me keep my unnecassary spending down and to save money on my food bills etc! Trying to claw our way out of an overdraft and pay off a loan and credit card!

£2 spent on a coffee at a kids party this morning and then around £10 spent this afternoon on a small food stock up and dog food!

Taken the dog out for 2 decent walks today so feel good after some fresh air!

Laska5772 · 29/04/2018 18:58

I like the cellar ..wreck (hic) and the Indian room ( just the place for a Ruby Murray and couple of Cobras on a Friday night!) But I am a bit worried about the bathroom with the black and white tiles. Isn't that on the ground floor? one doesn't want the gardener peeking in whilst one is at ones ablutions unless he is Rufus Sewell..
.....and... where is is Po? I am not the queen you know ( who of course doesnt go)

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/04/2018 19:10
