Cag that sounds grim, hope you don't take it too. There are some horrible bugs going around at the moment.

Girlie hope boycat improves and that your insurance pays out.

ememem84 · 10/05/2018 19:19

Oh cag take care! Hope the caglets feel better soon xx

Gym done. Dfriend took ds off my hands once I picked him up. They went for a little stroll round the marina. Ds wouldn’t keep his legs in the pram. Ha! So glad he doesn’t just do that for me.

Home now. Sweet potato black bean burgers for dinner. With cheeeeese. And sweet potato fries and salad. Mmmm.

northender · 10/05/2018 19:21

Just popping in, will catch up properly later.
3 busy days at work, but really productive and interesting. Very little spending, just a couple of top up shops.
I made spag bol on Tuesday in the slow cooker, chicken curry last night & then leftover bolognese into a lasagne tonight. 4 days until ds' first gcse exam & he's playing cricket on 2 of them...eek! We've decided that the cricket gives him such a lift psychologically, just to let him play and the time when he isn't playing is much more productive than it otherwise would be. He had more bloods done this morning so fingers crossed nothing new shows up. My friend's mum is doing some maths tutoring with him which he's really enjoying & she seems confident that he'll do okay. Even better, she just wants to be paid in cups of tea! Frugal win. We will bake a cake for her or get some flowers as she has been fab.

Did a circuits class on the way home from work, tea is in the oven & then it's the joy of a cricket club committee meeting, the fun never stops!

SnugglySnerd · 10/05/2018 19:31

Love the dress mammy you look very glamorous. Love Em's trousers too. I have an almost identical top Em!

NSD. Also busy with 3 poorly kids, Cag. Hope yours get well soon.

Cagliostro · 10/05/2018 19:57

Thanks guys 💐

Oh no snuggly 😱 it’s a new kind of hell isnt it when all three of them are ill! Not enough arms to comfort them all 😰

They weren’t nearly so bad this morning, we actually got a huge amount of home ed stuff done. DS is hardly ever ill at all these days let alone actually sick. I think it’s more to do with coughing/fever than a tummy bug though 🤞

SnugglySnerd · 10/05/2018 20:01

I know what you mean Cag. They all wake each other up too. DH and I are exhausted.

CremeEggThief · 10/05/2018 20:11

Hope the poorly kids perk up soon, Cag and Snuggly.

Best of luck to your DS, North. That's encouraging about the maths tuition paying off.

Just £1.80 today, on a single bus fare.

WreckTangled · 10/05/2018 20:33

Clark's have got some really cute pink brogues in their sale. They'd be horrible wouldn't they? Would look awful. I don't need more shoes.

Wolfcub · 10/05/2018 20:45

My Ocado delivery is late and is now due exactly when I need to go and collect ds Angry

WreckTangled · 10/05/2018 20:47

Wolf that's so annoying! I would stick a note on the door

Em Grin

ememem84 · 10/05/2018 20:47

These wreck ?!

www.clarks.co.uk/c/Netley-Rose/p/26130939

They are phenomenally cute.

I did the food shop. £54.

And have just whizzed up a marinade for Vietnamese pork. (8 gloves of garlic, onion, honey, fish sauce, soy and lemon grass). Have thrown it all in a Pyrex thing in fridge and will grill tomorrow. Mmmmmm. Serve with fluffy white rice and orange wedges.

Catface is pouncing. She seemed to hate me being home all the time but now she has “her” house back during the day she is craving attention. She will not leave me alone. I’ve sat on couch and she’s pounced my lap twice. Pounce big meow settle down purr then freaks her shit and repeats.

ememem84 · 10/05/2018 20:48

I’d get them wreck but in the interests of being frugal will not. Because I’d need a new outfit specially for them.

WreckTangled · 10/05/2018 20:52

Yes those! Extra 10% off and 3.5% tcb too. Alas I have no spare money at the moment.

ememem84 · 10/05/2018 20:55

Or these....

www.sophiawebster.com/product/13100/talulah

I think these are lovely. Slightly over a shoe budget.

ememem84 · 10/05/2018 20:56

Could you just not feed the kids for a couple of weeks?!

WreckTangled · 10/05/2018 21:06

Oh wow they are some shoes!! 😂 not feeding the kids is definitely a possibility Grin it's my birthday soon though...I expect they'll no longer be in the sale then

ememem84 · 10/05/2018 21:09

buy then now have them gift wrapped and don’t open until your birthday #enabling

The butterfly ones are special aren’t they? But I love the silver boots!!

I’m dying to move house. Want to get my irregular choice shoes out again. I stupidly packed them away.

These are my faves. I bought them years ago when I was young, living at home (so no financial responsibilities) and fabulous.

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/05/2018 21:11

That’s awful service wolf.

Wolfcub · 10/05/2018 21:30

It gets worse Fluffy. Nice flustered man arrived with shopping and was patient with the fact I wasn’t home but he’s driven off with half my sodding shopping in his van due to being flustered. I am annoyed as it’s all stuff I need and have meal planned for and I haven’t time to shop again. Normally Ocado are great and motorway problems are outside their control but buggering off with my shopping literally takes the biscuit. I have submitted my refund request

Laska5772 · 10/05/2018 21:42

Ive been so busy this week, haven't abandoned you , but loads on .

Have a ouse full of reles all weekend MIL, BIL SIL .. they are all great so looking forward to it but hey love their food and drink.. Mahoosive spend on Sainsburys today,,
still have more cleaning to do , ill try and catch up tomorrow , if not ill be back after weekend.

LonelyOversharer · 10/05/2018 22:03

Hope your ds is doing ok laska ~ have been thinking of you.

Been to the summer band concert, with dd1 on flute. It was very good. Plus I finished my crochet (the ball I got on saturday) people were staring at me, but I styled the "I give no fucks" well I tried As ever, the only empty seats in the house were next to me. My jeans are too tight, and the bench seat too hard.

Only spends today £6 local sainsburys (milk as ever), and £10 fuel into the courtesy car (kia picanto, very nice). Yes, I had to look in the user manual to find the petrol flap release.

Those shoes are lovely. I do not need more shoes. Early birthday pressie wreck? While they are on extra offer with cashback? They can always be wrapped up and put away.

AdoraBell · 10/05/2018 22:06

Thanks for that list fluffy

Fingers crossed for boycat Girlie

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 10/05/2018 22:11

Late sign in, had to have boycat pts this evening, he had liver failure and there was nothing they could do 😓 dd and I stayed with him right to the end which was very quick and painless for him. Can't remember the last time either of us cried so much and the tiniest of things sets me off again (even writing this it would seem!)

The vets were very kind.
