WreckTangled · 10/05/2018 07:27

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/05/2018 07:36

Thanks y’all re trousers. I’m embracig them today. Must get some sort of sandal. Wearing black flats today which are pinchy. I will survive though. Have blister plasters at work.

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/05/2018 08:07

You look lovely in that dress mammy.

Adora I’ll do my last shopping recipe later & meal plan. I’m too tired right now.

What’s the job love? Will it save you money in holiday clubs for the kids.

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/05/2018 08:08

Vaseline on the area em, big lump of it.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 10/05/2018 09:22

Definitely not able to wear no bra with him, by boobs are too soft and fleshy TMI, strapless bra is an option and I also have jewelled straps to attach to a strapless bra. My boobs have changed size so I'll need to buy anyhow I'd say because I won't fit into my teeny wonderhands bra either I'd say, I'll see later.

Can't see your pic on my pc em the sun is very bright in my office window, I'm surrounded my class on three sides which is lovely now, not so lovely when it's pelting rain in winter Smile will check on phone soon.

Dress is nice now but will be fabulous when I finally lose the 2.5 excess stone I'm carrying, I feel my energy has come on quite a bit in last two weeks so am finally out of that awful flu virus I had and can get back walking first (15000 steps life) and then eventually running Grin
I believe this will happen when hospital eventually sort out what's wrong with my menstrual cycle/hormones etc.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 10/05/2018 11:21

Thanks for asking after boycat, he had a settled night but isn't right at all (not eating or moving, cries when you touch him) took him back to vets this morning and was sobbing as I left him, there is a good chance he will be pts tomorrow if no improvement 😭 so upsetting to see him suffering.

Vet bills £300 so far, have put in an insurance claim but not sure will hey it as they may argue it's diabetes related...

mammynowanauntyIRL · 10/05/2018 12:22

Just saw pic em can we swap legs?

LonelyOversharer · 10/05/2018 13:31

Car news gets better and better. Little car was out of mot oops it will be £517. Four tyres, back brakes, 2 suspension arms. Luckily the garage lets us pay gradually. Combine that with the big car needing it's exhaust changed (waiting to borrow the guy across the road's jack), it's been a hell of a car week.

Am off to my mums for a natter. At least thats free.

QuiteCleanBandit · 10/05/2018 13:32

I was wondering about doing Waitrose for the offers instead of Ocado Fluffy

Veg is usually carrots or frozen peas bought in aldi. I only use a few for each meal or soup so a bag of carrots lasts a fortnight. I get veg from the lentils in my soups too & I count potatoes as veg if it’s prepared at home ie not oven chips.

Fruit is three portions a day. Always big orange, Apple, banana. I only buy anything exotic if it’s marked down or on aldi super 6. They’ve usually got something nice.

Loveabaconsandwich · 10/05/2018 16:04

Sorry to hear about Dcat girlie

Hope cag is ok? I know you said things were busy at the moment.

The job is an HR/Finance officer which is in my skill set from my previous job. It’s full time but termtime only. It would make holidays easier but termtime harder. And it would mean before/after school care five days a week for DD1 as well as full time childcare for DD2. I think realistically I’m going to have to look for similar jobswhen DD2 starts school in September 2019 as I think i’m financially better off with my crap current one as I have minimal childcare costs. Urrgh, it’s so hard juggling all these considerations!!

I don’t think I will ever regret leaving my previous job. But I do miss my holiday entitlement, pension and good on paper before travel/childcare costs salary!

Loveabaconsandwich · 10/05/2018 16:07

Jobs near where I leave seem to be really poorly paid. DP thinks it’s the knock on effect from the credit crunch of people having to do more for less? I don’t want to manage a big team of staff for not much reward.

QuiteCleanBandit · 10/05/2018 16:10

Oh crikey Lonely 🙈
Aldi super 6 is great Fluffy I always have a look if Im out that way.
Just had a good charity shop rummage and got Jamie's 30 minute meals for £1.50
There is a tiny greengrocer next door who does bags of apples, pears, peppers for £1and wonky cucumbers (no plastic!) for 20p each plus what I would describe as second rate fruit from Spain .
So today about 20 small peaches in a box for £1.20.I doubt a supermarket would touch them as a bit mishapen and small but they are ripe and delicious .I will eat as many as possible and then make a crumble with the rest.
TMI but I seem to need to eat about 10 portions of veg/fruit to keep things movingBlush

lonely That’s an eye watering bill. At least it’s done now though.

quite Your meal plan doesn’t look that expensive, you could always buy lasagne sheets cheap in lidl then use waitrose for the filling. Do a faux shop & see what it comes to. Your greengrocer sounds great.

I don’t spend a lot on cleaning stuff and that helps.

£4.77 in morrisons potatoes, mint sauce bought for the jar not the contents, smoked paprika, eggs, brown bread for Dh.
£10 aldi, cat food, cider for Dh, huge pack loo rolls, fresh chillies. Will prep these for freezing.

Wolfcub · 10/05/2018 17:38

Ocado shop coming this evening. Wine is missing. I’m somewhat annoyed they haven’t substituted the bottle for another one. HM Lasagne from the freezer for tea. A few pounds needed for ds’s activity later. Have rebadged a savings account as annual expenses and put some money in there. I reckon 100 a month ought to cover car service, alarm service, prescriptions, dentists check ups, school uniform and Birthdays. Not sure it would also cover Christmas will have to then next about that. Got a death benefit change form from pension servic which I need to fill in and have witnessed and have requested a pension estimate for use in divorce proceedings. Expenses claim for this week put in. Last week’s expenses have finally been paid today.

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/05/2018 17:56

www.ceoemail.com/s.php?id=ceo-9101

Email the ceo, it’s ridiculous they didn’t have any wine. They’ll have loads.

WreckTangled · 10/05/2018 18:03

Got all the way to swimming lessons only for dd to declare she felt ill. She said the same last week so I've cancelled her lessons. I'm pretty annoyed about it but I can't force her to do something that she dislikes. Saves me £360 a year anyway.

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/05/2018 18:32

I went left out of the station

Cagliostro · 10/05/2018 18:43

Ah thanks love yep still lurking, and thinking of you all. Adjusting to busy life here 😳 and today dealing with 3 poorly Caglets with various combinations of fevers, puking and coughing 😭

Wolfcub · 10/05/2018 19:02

👍🏻 life

Wreck that is annoying but that would easily pay for a nice holiday cottage in Somerset of 5 days for example! Added family bonus!
