RIP Jack. 😢

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/05/2018 07:44

Girlie you made the ultimate kind decision although it's the shittiest one to have to make. You did everything you could for Jack, remember that. XX((((((hugs))))))

LonelyOversharer · 11/05/2018 08:07

girlie I'm so sorry. Such a massive part of your lives. Squeeze your dd and girlcat for me xx
You really did everything you could.

According to dp (who is the jolliest, Scottish-ist, talks very loudly to everyone type) I come across as terribly posh and brittle; but I have a really daft cringy voice, and when every sentence ends in eh round here, sticks out a mile. And I always smile.

Quick trip to Aldi today. Will meal plan for the weekend, mostly need veg and biscuits!

WreckTangled · 11/05/2018 08:45

I just hung the washing out bright and breezy here.

Brunch outfit Grin (excuse the messy room it'll be last to be decorated!)

lonely what was he trying to achieve with that statement? Or was that in connection with the empty seats around you?

I've been a member of Irish Opinions for ten years today they just told me! No bonus credit though Sad

€15 off €155 shop in SuperValu came through so I'll be using that. Going to Aldi last Sunday, shopping, scanning and unpacking took 2 hours of my time, this is reduced to 30 mins if I shop online and get it delivered. When I'm living separately to H I think I'll do SuperValu once a month and Aldi as top up in between, depending on if it's 50/50 with the children or not of course.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 11/05/2018 08:52

Looking lovely wreck

SunnyLikeThursday · 11/05/2018 09:03

Lonely I'm for ever wondering why no one will stand next to me. Any chance you could send your dh round to tell me?

SnugglySnerd · 11/05/2018 09:42

So sorry about Jack Girlie. Losing a pet is horrible. Flowers

Lovely brunch outfit Wreck. I am definitely not posting a pic of myself in my old cardie and slippers, you lot are really stylish!

Hope poorly kids are getting better and there is no more projectile vomiting!

Wolfcub · 11/05/2018 09:57

A complaint to Ocado is resulting in a redelivery of the shopping that disappeared with the driver last night and a voucher. Fluffy you are a great inspiration

QuiteCleanBandit · 11/05/2018 10:15

So sorry about Jack -its heart breaking.
What a beautiful boy -love his mask !

Sunny but a bit chilly today

Joining (again!)

Just had a shock this morning to find we are losing £360 a month in tax credits. Honestly don't know how we are going to survive.

Just in shock tbh; off to read some previous posts and see if I can get some tips!

LonelyOversharer · 11/05/2018 10:44

mammy theres no malice in dp. I've just asked him over the years why he attracts people like flies, and I don't. Because I know I sound stupid and posh I err towards really shy, which comes across as aloof.

Aldi was £36 all food. £12.50 in sainsburys on school stuff for ds. They would not take back or exchange the trousers I bought months ago. Fair enough I suppose. Does anyone want 2 pairs of black age 5 boys school trousers, brand new still in their delivery bag? Happy to post.

LonelyOversharer · 11/05/2018 10:46

art3mis thats a lot to lose a month. Have you had a big change of circumstances?

Art3mis · 11/05/2018 11:01

Lonely

DH has had overtime that he didn't used to get and can't actually turn down (he has to open his workplace and his travel is included too). We're still bringing in less than when I was working too but tax credits are alot less. I don't understand the system at all. His base rate is the exact same just with the overtime, which isn't even guaranteed, and then all the deductions from higher pay months we're actually worse off anyway never mind with the tax credits being reduced by 80%

mammynowanauntyIRL · 11/05/2018 12:04

Does it ever annoy you when you see others waste food?

My work colleague dumps half a tomato 3 times a week Hmm I know this shouldn't bother me, she would dump a glass jar for convenience sake rather than take it home for recycling too. I love her to bits but that annoys me [grr]

Welcome art3mis

lonely could you put trousers on a facebook buy sell swap group?

A house I've been eyeing up for possibly purchasing when we separate will be bought for 80% of asking price, a bit of covert questions in the right places found this out for me. It needs a well but there are grants for this. Hurry on mediation so that I can move on with my life [impatient emoticon]

Spends this week €2.35 on sweets and 95c on posting a birthday card to my brother.

ememem84 · 11/05/2018 12:41

Today’s style attempt. Leopard flats. Top half is white baggyfit tshirt and a yellow cardigan. Red handbag.

£9 In paperchase. Wedding card for friends wedding tomorrow and some sticky notes for work in the shape of a catface and with a bunny riding a bike #grownup

wreck I looked in Clark’s. Those pink brogues are delicious. Definetly get them as a birthday treat.

£5.40 lunch. No judgement please. It was a toasted sandwich. Sourdough (homemade by the cafe) with raclette and gouder cheese Mac and cheese inside it. I am so unbelievably full I may slip into a carby meaty cheesy coma. Absolutely totally worth it. Even if I had to go to hipster cafe to get it. Le superyum
