Yum wolf! I would have had grated cheese on top too Grin

There's a sink hole in the town near us, where I work. It's awfully exciting, the local newspaper is having a field day

Will catch up as soon as I plug my phone in but I wanted to make Roz Purcell’s healthy brownies but I didn’t have most of the ingredients so I substituted. Haven’t done taste test yet but they smell delicious! Macros attached for life

Dinner with dparents today after the park. We parked for the park in the nearby church. Despite signs saying “church patrons only” so on way out of park we popped in. It’s the “glass church” here which is famous for being filled with Lalique glass. Never been in before - pretty. To make amends for my unholy parking I lit a candle.

Dinner was odd. Roast turkey sausages and stuffing with new potatoes and salads. Lots of salads. Half Christmas dinner half not.

Unescorted · 09/05/2018 20:54

girlie hope boycat is feeling more comfortable.
Mammy no enabling done. I don't like the paper quality of the Moleskin books -they are a bit to hot pressed and shiny. They are beautifully bound mind you. I have a fab book lined up from Fred Aldous' (most wonderful art shop ever (TM)). Landscape 180gsm A5 flat with a hard cover. I will insert the watercolor paper, fabric fibre or cold press as needed.

Sea if you are reading I am thinking of you.

Em I hope you find strength..... Either to rise above or swing the baseball bat.

Wolf I forgot to say I hope your LIN meeting the other day went well. And I hope your new job is settling in ok.

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/05/2018 20:55

Oh they luck nice mammy. I've totally messed up again. FFS.

Unescorted · 09/05/2018 21:10

Wassup life?

WreckTangled · 09/05/2018 21:13

My macros are quite good for today but I definitely eat too much fat BlushGrin

Unescorted · 09/05/2018 21:15

You and me both...

Loveabaconsandwich · 09/05/2018 21:34

Hope you are doing ok seacow

I’ve pickled my brain tonight doing a free accounting course from the OU. Quite enjoyed studying but should have stopped before my brain got tired.

Little dilemma. I’ve seen a job I would like to apply for but it is at a school and schools take references prior to interview. This would mean giving my current employer as a reference (it stipulates that) but i’m concerned I may find myself out of a job if I tell my employer. No box to tick to say that i’m not happy for employer to be contacted before interview. If I put two people from my old job, could I get away with that as I will have been in current job less than three months? Especially as current job is technically on a three month trial basis. No idea what a reference would be like from current employer but I doubt it would make me look good as he thinks i’m an idiot, mainly because I am new Confused

Loveabaconsandwich · 09/05/2018 21:39

Poor cat girlie, I hope he gets better

I hope DH does the shopping soon em and also for your sanity he adjusts to his parent life soon. I guess the novelty has worn off, and this is life now. Dull and fun bits of parenting included. You can’t have one without the other.

Wolfcub · 09/05/2018 21:40

Love I would put previous employer in that case

mammynowanauntyIRL · 09/05/2018 22:29

Do you follow macro based diet too wreck?

Unescorted* book sounds lovely, enjoy using it.

I'm very impressed with beautybay.com ordered sat morn, arrived lunchtime today. Dress from ASOS also arrived & I like it very much Grin might need a cute skinny strapped bra to go with it but I've got shoes which'll match so that's good. The sleeve is a bit tight but I'll try again in the morning in case it's just bloating.

H is behind with his money into joint account & all our major bills come out from 1st to 8th of month, I'd to cover from my personal account Sad I let him know that I'd noticed Angry

Love I'd put previous employer if they ask you've got an explanation, not long enough in the job for them to know your full skill set

mammynowanauntyIRL · 09/05/2018 22:39

Sorry bold failure

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 09/05/2018 22:41

I've bought boycat up to bed with me, this has confused him no end as normally I'm kicking him out of my room at this time!! Thanks for all the well wishes, will see what tomos brings. ..

seacow loved that story of your granny, I read somewhere that a lot of people who experienced rationing went on to have either a famine or feast mentality, my nan was very much a feaster! She was always feeding you and always had a home full of food, how she stayed a size 10 her whole life I'll never know 😁 hope you're doing okay xx

AdoraBell · 09/05/2018 23:04

Haven’t managed to catch up, sorry.

I’m trying to reduce my grocery spends. I’ve switched to Waitrose, less temptation to fill a delivery with junk. still buying own brand and offers though. Local butcher has closed but they still have a branch in the next large town. DH is travelling soon, new business opportunity.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 10/05/2018 05:38

Girlie how did boycat get on through the night?

Adora will Dh be away for long for work?

mammynowanauntyIRL · 10/05/2018 05:48

A new world in food has opened up for us dd will now eat frozen peas & sweetcorn, cooked obviously, with her dinner Grin

There was loads of white meat left from last nights slow cooked chicken so I'm going to make myself curried chicken & apple mayo to have today for lunch Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/05/2018 06:09

I'm fine, I meant as in eating too much

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/05/2018 06:12

I'm traveling with work today to Sheffield, never been before.

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/05/2018 06:13

Hope today goes ok with boy cat

mammynowanauntyIRL · 10/05/2018 06:21

I like it Grin
Need a bra with skinny straps, got a €10 primark voucher from my surveys yesterday yesterday so hopefully that'll cover it Smile

Wolfcub · 10/05/2018 06:37

Life enjoy Sheffield. My office there is a ten min walk from the station when I visit but Half of that is uphill and I end up puffing like a train. The water feature outside the station is nice if you have time to look

Wolfcub · 10/05/2018 06:38

Lovely dress Mammy and a beautiful figure

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/05/2018 07:14

I wonder if we work in the safe office wolf mine is the same.
Love it mammy. Try a clear bra strap bra maybe? Primark do those

ememem84 · 10/05/2018 07:14

LOVE The dress mammy could you get away with a strapless bra with it?

I’m wearing new trousers today. They’re very out of my comfort zone. But I like them.

It’s back to work today. This week has been super confusing. No work work no work work work

Food shop today. We must do one.
