Mmmm. No there's nothing but I've written to our local Buddist centre to ask if they have anything.

CremeEggThief · 03/05/2018 11:28

It might be worth asking the school if they could fund a teaching assistant to do the training. Quite a few schools do Relax Kids in this way, Sunny.

SunnyLikeThursday · 03/05/2018 11:34

Thanks creme I might ask about that then. They were having an ofsted inspection today, so I might wait a few days before making complicated requests.

CremeEggThief · 03/05/2018 11:48

Oh goodness, yes! You could ask them if they'd be prepared to do it in or from September.

SunnyLikeThursday · 03/05/2018 11:50

Could I? Okay. Gosh.

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/05/2018 14:16

NSD

mammynowanauntyIRL · 03/05/2018 14:22

In the meantime, look up techniques to help reduce his anxiety.

SunnyLikeThursday · 03/05/2018 14:27

Mammy It's okay we're already up to our ears in those. Poor kid had a tough time medically in his early years so we've already been to a child psychologist for tips.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 03/05/2018 14:41

Sorry to hear your ds is struggling Sunny

Also sorry to hear your ex is being a pain Mammy

I have had a nice day off, been quite productive and got lots of house work done as well as mowed the lawn and pottered in the garden. Went for another run this morning, 2.7km in 20 mins which is an improvement!

Dd has text to say she has a sore throat which always stresses me out a bit, the school haven't rung so am hoping she isn't too bad....

Has Cag been quiet or have i just missed posts?

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 03/05/2018 14:43

Oh and in frugal news I have had a refund of £200 from my gas and electric company Halo this will pay for our summer holiday so am pleased with that.

Today has been a NSD so far but will need to get milk and marmite later (the essentials Wink)

WreckTangled · 03/05/2018 14:50

Nsd for me as was yesterday.

Mammy sorry stbxh is being a twat.

No more work until Tuesday woo hoo!

mammynowanauntyIRL · 03/05/2018 15:09

sunny Flowers for your ds
girlie that's quite a good pace, I would do it in similar time, I work in miles now so I'd to convert Grin

Thanks wreck and girlie it'll be two months tomorrow since I told him. Feel like I'm moving to stand still at the moment with the situation but that's because I don't want the dc upset until they have to be.

Got paid today. H wants to borrow money from joint account to pay his car insurance, he still hasn't transferred his share from last Friday's pay and mortgage is due to come out on Tuesday. I can cover the mortgage until he does transfer but I'm not going to do grocery shopping. He'll question this in time and I'll have my answer for him I didn't want the mortgage payment to bounce. How he hasn't got money I can't understand, he gets paid weekly and an expenses payment once a month, yet his mobile phone bill bounces almost every month.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 03/05/2018 15:13

Enjoy long weekend wreck

mammynowanauntyIRL · 03/05/2018 15:16

fluffy I think it was you that was ordering the ordinary products, can you advise what's good from them? I want to order Nailtiques Formula 1 nail strengthener from beautybay.com and they do free delivery over €25 so I've €12.20 to spend to get to that. I would be interested in a hot cloth cleanser perhaps but the choice is vast there. I love superdrug vitamin E hot cloth cleanser and day moisturising cream and have finished the cleanser and almost the moisturiser so something to replace them would be good

Cagliostro · 03/05/2018 15:36

I am here girlie thank you 😘 just lurking for a bit as stuff is crazy here. Got behind on the last thread and by the time I started this one it was 12 pages 😂

ememem84 · 03/05/2018 15:47

£10 birthday flowers for my lovely friend who I met for lunch

£5 lunch at frozen yoghurt place (healthy lunch ahoy! See attached pic)

£5 raffle ticket for Africa day ball raffle (friend is organising)

Maybe £50 to attend said ball.

It depends what skin concerns you have......I'm using salicylic acid for stopping any spots and making your skin very smooth i.e. No little lumps anywhere.

Then twice a week I use alpha lipoic acid for skin retexturising because I had fine little scars from when I had my milk allergy.

30% glycolic acid peel once a week.

Euk for daily anti oxidant support in the mornings.

Caffeine for around my eyes to stop me looking tired old

Nicanamide and zinc for oily areas on hot days.

But if you can buy buffet first to top the order up, maybe some vitamin c for brightening.

Wolfcub · 03/05/2018 16:25

£41.50 for models for ds, he has paid me back 40 but I had to order online for him
5 for new fountain pen for ds for school as he has broken his
Need to buy bread and hamster food will go to shop in a moment

mammynowanauntyIRL · 03/05/2018 16:27

I don't have any skin concerns, I'm blessed with good skin, through diet or genetics I'm not sure which!

I was advised when getting my wedding makeup done in 2010 to start using moisturiser because of my age and I started then last November, so would like to continue it because my skin is extra supple with it.

LonelyOversharer · 03/05/2018 17:25

em that looks totally delicious. It's nearly the weekend, so almost a week done!

cag glad you're still here.

girlie I'm spending a lot of time "pottering" in the garden too (I especially like my tidy, warm greenhouse). It's a weird sort of grown up bliss. My fruit plants arrived today, they are all jolly healthy, look really good. Need to buy some ericacious compost tomorrow for potting on.

Just a £6 spend today, milk and snacks from the spar. Oh, and £8.50 postage to the states, but she paid $18, so that covers it.

Have also got a few bits listed on ebay as well. The stuff I left hid at my sisters. Fingers crossed as I want the junk gone.

Ok, so I never do anything except wash my face. I always found moisturiser gives me spots. But now my face is looking like an over used paper bag. Any ideas? I'd guess my skin was oily-ish.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 03/05/2018 18:06

lonely it is funny how much I love my garden, if I go away anywhere I properly miss it!! I'd like more growing space really and am thinking an allotment might be the way to go in a year or two.... I tried to upload a pic of my bleeding hearts plant earlier but it didn't work, will try again as it's so beautiful!

Spent £15 in the co op on a top up shop, have eaten really healthily today , lots of green stuff - I tried kale for the first time!!

Glad you're okay cag don't worry about keeping up but def post every now and then otherwise I worry 😂

ChristmasSeacow · 03/05/2018 18:24

Ha ha, I was starting to worry about Cag too Girlie. Glad you are still lurking (and okay).

Sorry to hear DS is struggling Sunny. The modern world can seem a little overwhelming with a lot to worry about, sometimes it’s hard to protect kids from worrying v about it. Mammy’s advice sounds good.

Your garden sounds lovely Girlie. You have reminded me that I want to replace my dicentra that was lost when the garden was landscaped a couple of years ago. I don’t have much spring interest at all, I have realised. I sense some £££spend coming up as I have quite a few Garden gaps to fill.

DS has his school trip today. He was pretty upset this morning (non-uniform, wellies, school locked up as it was closed for polling...) though he calmed down enough to get on the coach and enjoyed it. But when I went to pick him up he told me to go away Sad as he wanted to go to school. Basically he was fine going on the trip but still wanted to finish his normal day at school! He was upset for a couple of hours but has finally stopped talking about it now!

Dad is getting worse again. He’s started having falls and is quite confused. He was blue lighted to hospital today for brain scans etc. It just gets worse and worse for Mum. I would now like the end to come quickly as he’s not really aware anyway and has no quality of life whatsoever but the situation is really heartbreaking for Mum Sad. I still feel shocked at how much he has declined in the last month. And very glad I have said what I wanted to say. We all thought we’d have more time.

SunnyLikeThursday · 03/05/2018 18:30

Sorry to hear about your Dad Christmas. I had no idea it could happen that fast. It's good that they hospital is there to look after him.

I've managed to find a piano teacher who is happy to work with ds. He has a great driving need to write music and especially likes to work in Jazz timing, which is really a big ask. I've found someone now though, and just need to work out how to get to her still awake for a 6.30pm slot on a Friday. I will be asleep by then, never mind ds. Yikes! Zzzz Maybe she will get an earlier slot at some point?

LonelyOversharer · 03/05/2018 18:36

Oh seacow Flowers my heart goes out to you and your mum, I hope your dad is not in any pain. I can't imagine how hard this is for all of you. Sounds like your dear ds managed quite well really (did the it's not quite a cake pass?).

girlie lovely pic. I used to have a bleeding heart, I love them. Going to put one in my flower border I have yet to make! I did a bit of digging today, lots of doc plants, nettle roots and seemingly endless ground elder to be removed, slowly, by hand.
