I've got a refillable one for work & use that too but our journey to visit parents is three hours long so 600ml doesn't cover it.
Least you know she's hydrated Grin

ememem84 · 28/03/2018 13:33

mammy my fave outfit for style and comfort is black skinnies, white cami, denim shirt, brown boots/shoes.

£20 christening invitations.

Cagliostro · 28/03/2018 13:36

Wow mammy his attitude really sucks doesn’t it. I’m glad you are getting rid. DS is 8 btw. Not very coordinated so not sure if he would manage, but he does enjoy sports club.

I hear you on the water bottles! I’m going to get some of those metal Chilly ones when I have some spare cash

Cagliostro · 28/03/2018 13:51

The cod was le yum by the way, but fell apart in the pan (probably because of the lime juice?) so ended up being more of a stir fry with rice and mangetout 😋 I’m very glad I bought ginger, it’s one of those things that I really like but don’t use enough. I might use the rest in a red lentil thing as I think that goes quite well

MrsOH2004 · 28/03/2018 14:31

Have sorted out 2 old pillows and a duvet set, not impressed with aldi black bags, they don't do the ones I used to buy and the cheap ones are very thin and rubbish, why do shops stop stocking the things you buy Angry

3 items out of the bathroom into the recycling bin, I have to do that while Dh is at work as he likes to question why i'm getting rid Grin

MrsOH2004 · 28/03/2018 14:34

Oops that was for another thread Grin

SunnyLikeThursday · 28/03/2018 14:39

Our school has received a terrorist threat, so I'm going to 3pm drop-off with cling film, first aid kit and bottled water as per M15 guidelines. #ParentingSkills

WreckTangled · 28/03/2018 14:44

Oh has it sunny? I've read loads have received them

SunnyLikeThursday · 28/03/2018 14:48

Yes, apparently so. My DH says that email threats like that should be easy to trace, so they should at least be able to catch the idiot who sent it.

MrsOH2004 · 28/03/2018 14:48

Wow scary Sunny, I remember a couple of years ago our school went into lock down due to one of the flats next to it, he was waving a gun about, and threatening his wife, one of many incidents that finally made the ss take their daughter away from them.

Cagliostro · 28/03/2018 15:19

Wow sunny 😱 if they’ve done it by email they are probably just idiots messing about I guess?

I’m intrigued about this other thread now mrsoh :o it’s been a decluttering sort of day here too. Want to have as much sorted as possible before we get offered somewhere. Very slow progress for some reason 🧐😂

WreckTangled · 28/03/2018 15:25

Mrs0H people don't realise just how hard it is to get children removed do they? You always read about people being worried their children will get taken away over one minute things but actually it usually takes years and multiple agencies involvement before it's even considered.

The sun has finally come out here. Got a leaving meal to go to tonight sad as it's the colleague I work closest with.

SunnyLikeThursday · 28/03/2018 15:27

We got home safely, you'll be glad to know. I have unpacked my cling film.

CremeEggThief · 28/03/2018 15:48

Oh dear, Sunny. Our local police had it up on Facebook today about 100 schools in our region have received those emails, but they didn't name the schools and as I didn't hear from DS's school, I presume his wasn't one of them. What on earth possesses some people though?Angry

Laska5772 · 28/03/2018 15:51

Whats the cling film for sunny. is it to wrap the terrorists up in if you catch them to keep then fresh? ..

MrsOH2004 · 28/03/2018 16:13

No they don't Wreck, everybody was so glad when it finally happened, the poor girl had no home life at all, both parents alcoholics, he jumped off the multi storey car park a couple of times too.

Keep on getting rid of one thing a day decluttering challenge!
It's this one Cag, my laptop is being stupid so can't link it.

AdoraBell · 28/03/2018 16:19

Grin at keeping terrorist fresh. Hope the find the idiot through the email, also hope school kids aren’t scared.

Spent £8 on coffee and cake. DH spent £19 in B&Q, birthday present for FIL and a bay tree for home.

Cagliostro · 28/03/2018 18:28

Ah thanks mrsoh sounds like a useful challenge! Sadly we have so much that one a day would be too slow 😳 we’ve managed a bit today but I get tired very quickly.

I bought ferroglobin the other day, cheaper than spatone and not liquid so I thought I’d try it first. Picking up vitamin D prescription tomorrow. My level was 28 which according to google isn’t that terrible?

ememem84 · 28/03/2018 19:01

I found that Spatone was way easier to stomach and hasn’t had the er...💩 effects on me cag haha!

Dh is making me a g&t. Loads of ice. Still feeling rotten. Have managed today by mostly sitting on the couch and tryi to encourage ds to nap.

Wolfcub · 28/03/2018 19:19

I’m having a g&t too. It is much needed. There will also be a takeaway, unfrugal but I do not care today

Cagliostro · 28/03/2018 19:30

I’m hoping it’ll be ok, it’s slow release capsules and claims to be easier on the stomach sooooo fingers crossed! I think it’s a month's worth so will give that a go but invest in the spatone if it doesn’t work. Is the apple one ok to mix into orange juice?

TBH though I found out I’m not even low on iron apparently, the doctor who rang said different to the receptionist so she didn’t say I had to take anything. Turns out the other dodgy result was actually my thyroid function. 😕 But the level suggests overactive thyroid, which doesn’t ‘fit’ for me IYSWIM, so she was a bit confused and has written to an endocrinologist to ask what to do next. More blood tests I suppose, I suspect it’s a fluke, I have had thyroid tests several times over the last 6 years.

Cagliostro · 28/03/2018 19:30

Wolf Thanks

Loveabaconsandwich · 28/03/2018 19:30

Brew em it can be so hard looking after little DC when ill yourself. They don’t get the napping when required but.

I was debating with DP what to do if I decided I was well enough to go back to work as colleague was rather vocal earlier about me not returning tomorrow after having flu. And there was a strong likelihood of drama and flouncing out from her if I did go in. I then got an email from the boss telling me to stay home tomorrow Grin . He obviously couldn’t face (any extra) drama! At least I have no decision to make in the morning now.

My last payslip from my old job arrived and I will be getting a bit more than I expected due to a tax refund. Which will help with all these unpaid sick days.

Loveabaconsandwich · 28/03/2018 19:33

wolf is there any way of getting the workload to decrease? You have my sympathy FlowersGin

ememem84 · 28/03/2018 19:35

cag I just down it straight from the packet. It’s not too bad. I’ve only had the apple one as no where here seems to stock the other flavours. Odd.

wolf I developed a taste for gin just before I found out I was pregnant. Sad times. Thankfully ds arrrived early and I could et back on it. Phew.

I am being very decadent. In bed listening to a book and drinking gin. Currently listening to “the cows” by dawn o’porter. I have a smidge of a crush on her. Love her writing style and her tv stuff. I think we’d be friends in real life.
