Wooo it’s pay day. Thank goodness for that. Banking done and budgets for the next month.

Wolfcub · 29/03/2018 06:30

....and I’ve just made the last holiday payment phew!

Unescorted · 29/03/2018 06:47

We are mid month....

On the nuts adding dark muscavado sugar and smoked paprika to the chilli spice mix of your choice makes awesome smoked nuts. Fights break out when they are made.

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/03/2018 07:12

Payday here too.

Loveabaconsandwich · 29/03/2018 07:17

Payday from old job today. Got paid by new job last night. Doubt i’m going to get that much again for a while. But on the plus side, nowadays I get more sleep Smile

Wolfcub · 29/03/2018 07:36

Mmm more sleep sounds good to me Love. Can you save your old wage as a safety/emergency pot?
Paid ds’s dinner money for April and a chunk off his school trip

SunnyLikeThursday · 29/03/2018 07:52

Unescorted how do we get hold of those briefing papers? They sounds good.

ememem84 · 29/03/2018 07:54

OOOH I love roasted chickpeas. Mmm.

Still feeling rough as. But must soldier on. 😭

Wearing this shirt today. Isn’t it ace?! So. Many. Cats. (Wearing with black skinnies, and a pink skinny knit jumper over the top for those who are interested so the print won’t be quite as full on - just flashes at the collar and sleeves)

I got through almost an entire box of tissues last night. but have drunk almost a litre of water already today. So must keep that up and maintain maximum hydration.

Must go and pick up my boots order today. And grab Easter eggs.

WreckTangled · 29/03/2018 08:06

I haven't bought any Easter eggs yet. Gah. Meant to be doing a hunt for the dc with friends.

ememem84 · 29/03/2018 08:17

Hmm shouldnt have had wine last night.already scoffed 3 slices of toast and still hungry..

MrsOH2004 · 29/03/2018 09:54

Morning everyone.
Sun is shining so I have washing on that is going out when it's done.
Love the outfit Em.
Meal plan done, shopping list written, think I'm going to take £100 cash out to pay for it, and will try and get the bulk of it in Aldi.
Seems it's a rent free week this week so have sent my Dad another £50 for the holiday, I have £300 left to pay by 15th May, will do that easily I think. Have saved up for this holiday and have not paid any of it on cc. I have one but paid it off and haven't touched it since.

Cagliostro · 29/03/2018 10:13

Cute outfit 😍 I love the jumper over shirt look, need to lose more weight before I can pull it off though 😳 must remember it for when I do buy more clothes. Am making do with what I have for as long as I can (mum has a cupboard full of jeans in various sizes so I’m borrowing those and returning for smaller sizes 😂 taking loads back when we visit tomorrow yay!). Have only maintained since Christmas, eating too much rubbish, rather than losing any but everything is getting much looser.

MrsOH that’s brilliant about the holiday. We are not having one this year, as the move will cost a couple of grand at least I reckon when you add up all the furniture, flooring etc. If you still have the CC would you consider using it each month and paying off straight away, to improve your credit rating? That’s my plan for once we’ve moved, I don’t feel organised enough to do that yet. 😳 I think my card was cancelled when I didn’t use it for ages, so I need to sort out getting another somehow (I was working when I got it, now I only get a tiny amount from tutoring and the rest of my income is PIP so not everyone counts that).

Yesterday DH did buy me some chocolate (I am a major chocoholic and only let myself have it two days a week now, and he remembered 💐) I stayed in all day so my only spends were £12 on condoms on amazon 😳😂 we must be frugal and get DH sorted for the snip 😂. Spendy today as we are going to ice cream parlour to celebrate a friend’s home ediversary. 5 years! We’ve been out 3 now. Also getting some more storage tubs in different sizes, we’ve come up with a plan for stashing away various things (such as toys the Caglets don’t play with as often, so can do without until the move) so we have more room to sort the rest. This house is like a giant game of Tetris, and frankly we are losing 😭

DS is finishing his map of Ireland and DD is drawing and labelling the Claddagh. Might get some printing done today and then they’ll have everything to put their poster together. I am still in bed. Cagletini was fussing all night, I’m knackered. 😴

ememem84 · 29/03/2018 10:36

Tidied cupboard of doom and put things away.

Have thrown a load of washing in and am sitting in the couch while ds rolls about on his mat playing with his noisiest of toys (whoever decided noisy baby toys were a good idea needs shooting imo! Especially ones which cannot be turned off!)

Going to dm’s for lunch. She’s made chicken soup. Yay! And will look after ds for me while I go to pick up my boots order and maybe have a nap

ememem84 · 29/03/2018 10:37

Catface keeps being gross and fishing my used tissues out of the bedroom waste paper basket. She’s just run into the living room with one in her mouth and has shredded it.

MrsOH2004 · 29/03/2018 10:44

Cagilstro thanks I'm really pleased I've managed it, this is only our 2nd family holiday ever and will be the last for a while.
I always have good intentions of paying off in full but it never seemed to happen so would rather not risk it.
I'm on the mini pill, I've been lucky that the pill agrees with me, I did have to change though as my Mum got DVT then they went to her lungs, so I am high risk too.
I also need to lose some weight Grin

Cagliostro · 29/03/2018 10:51

I still remember one of the songs from a toy DD1 had 10 years ago I am avoiding noisy toys as long as I damn well can here 😂🙉 I’m excited about the more interesting toys we can get once baby can sit up unaided though.

Must get up. And remember to take iron. Collecting vitamin D today. Really really hoping it makes a difference. Sick of aching everywhere. Used to it obviously, because fibro 🤦‍♀️ But it’s been different since baby arrived. Maybe she’s using up all my nutrients 😂 I am definitely fitter though, so swings and roundabouts.

ememem84 · 29/03/2018 11:00

“When I am good I get a treat. Bones are my favourite treat” sings annoying singing puppy. Stupid bloody puppy.

SunnyLikeThursday · 29/03/2018 11:35

LOL! I still get the heebie jeebies from youtube nursery rhyme videos.

OP posts:
ememem84 · 29/03/2018 11:46

STupid singing puppy sets itself off randomly at night. Either that or catface nudges it.

SunnyLikeThursday · 29/03/2018 13:29

That must be extremely annoying. Smile

I'm wearing experimental size 16 trousers today. I feel like Clint Eastwood. I'm normally a 12 but the tumble dryer shrinks a 12 to child size.

MrsOH2004 · 29/03/2018 15:42

Have been shopping, took £100 cash out and came back with £15 so that will be for things like milk and bread top ups. We're not a small family so £100 a week for us will be amazing if I can achieve it.

Unescorted · 29/03/2018 16:03

sunny Google house of commons library...then you can search the site for the briefings. If so could work out how to copy and paste researchbriefings.parliament.uk hopefully???

Unescorted · 29/03/2018 16:04

It worked ... new skill alert.
