Dd thinks it is morning 🙄

Sorry to hear your dd is ill Cag. I generally don’t worry if they seem bright and ‘themselves’ with it. Dd was quite cheerful through her recent diarrhoea-a-thon. Even on the couple of days she had a temperature. Just crabby when tired, which was a bit more than usual. She’s fine now. Apart from being wide awake at 4.30am of course 😬

SunnyLikeThursday · 18/02/2018 06:11

The coops look beautiful lonely.

SnugglySnerd · 18/02/2018 06:50

I must try to remember that my friends who WhatsApped me at 9.30 pm when I'd already gone to sleep won't necessarily be awake or pleased when I reply at 6 am! I think having babies distorts your sense of time!

Hope she is better soon Cag. Everyone seems to have this nasty cough at the moment.

We need milk today and pull ups. Ideally we need the milk in the next half hour so we can have breakfast.

needastrongone · 18/02/2018 07:23

Hope your dd is okay cag, you and seacow are sensible about this kind of stuff though, her advice looks sound.

Cheers for the link fluffy, there's some decent deals there, that's the area we are look at too.

Just off for my first 20 mile run of the marathon campaign. Nice and cold and still here though.

Otherwise, I need some garlic and milk (for work) but that's it for spending.

Menu plan to follow.

ememem84 · 18/02/2018 07:24

I’m off for a massage. Woop!

girlie it’s annoying re the flowers as if I’d gone into town and bought them at the farmers markets they’d be cheaper. Or if I’d robbed them from the fields surrounding the stables free.

But hey ho. They look pretty.

Hope cagletini feels better soon cag ds has been a bit “off” the last few days. Still alert and feeding well but just not himself. Dh said yesterday he was really aggro when I was riding. He gets twitchy now if he can’t see me. So I suspect another phase.

needastrongone · 18/02/2018 07:42

Enjoy em.

Urgh I feel like crap.

Hope the massage is lovely
The coops are fab lonely
Footy today, nsd.

Loveabaconsandwich · 18/02/2018 09:02

Glad the decorating is going well girlie. When you transform a room it is great!

Enjoy your massage em

You have endless talents lonely . You should set up a diy business!

Glad your DS is having a good time north

We need to go to the supermarket today to buy some meat to roast, fruit, veg, bread and milk. Ocado coming tomorrow.

I can hear DP on the phone to PIL trying to persuade them that my new job is a good idea Hmm . I think they think a 5.20am start for me is character building Grin. My mum on the other hand was appalled at getting up so early and said I should just take the job no questions asked Smile

Loveabaconsandwich · 18/02/2018 09:04

NSD yesterday

I think I got out of bed for about two hours in total as felt so unwell which helps with the NSDs

LonelyOversharer · 18/02/2018 09:13

need I love your "complaints in writing please"!

We have stuck to the meal plan for 17 days. This is a record. Only bought the dc lunch once, and it's half term. No take away at all, not even MacDonalds. Will plan 2 weeks and shop tomorrow or tuesday.

I have a lot of work to do today. I like it back by monday, but have 2 (easy but time consuming) trays to do. Lost yesterday in the garden, but I had to move the chickens.

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/02/2018 09:16

Character building 😂 One of relatives told me her DD has to leave for work at 8am like it was incredibly early.

It's become a in-joke in our house. "At least you don't have to leave the house at 8am"

WreckTangled · 18/02/2018 09:21

I made pancakes for breakfast. Yum! Extra thick fluffy pancakes.

Really not looking forward to the back to school/work routine

Wolfcub · 18/02/2018 09:34

North, your complaints in writing is brilliant. I hope Em enjoyed her massage and Cagletini is soon better. Rugby this morning, I am tempted by Starbucks so I’m taking coffee with me.
Lidl Greek snail pastries are in the oven for breakfast before we go and I need to find my lighter weight bobble hat as it’s the right side of Baltic this morning

mammymammyIRL · 18/02/2018 09:54

Fluffy my friend talks about it being great not being on the road early at weekends, they leave at 8.50 Shock I leave between 6.15 and 6.50 depending on time of year Grin
Love my mother thinks early starts are because you couldn't get a decent job, she thinks state jobs are the best
I've done reduced hours a few days since going back to work leaving at 8.15 it was like a holiday Grin

Lonely that's fantastic I don't meal plan as such but my grocery bill has definitely reduced since switching to online shopping with SuperValu.
Love your coops

Anyone use snazal for buying books? My dm gave me money for a particular set of books for ds who's learning to read, they've some great prices on collections for dc Some of grocery savings may be spent

There's a new pet farm opening near us -€30 per family visit or €120 for annual pass. It's about 45 mins drive from us but everything is at least 30 mins to put it in perspective. Think you have petfarm membership wreck how often would you visit?

Love sorry to hear you're unwell, rest up today BrewThanks

Em enjoy massage dh got me a spa voucher for Christmas April's offer looks good
Need enjoy run
I'm going to do a 5 mile race today with my sister, before thurs I hadn't run in 3.5 weeks it'll probably take me about an hour

I have finally given up on trying to get my dc to eat mince in any format. Made beautiful mini meatballs yesterday, dd tried one I'd to give ds new pasta that hadn't touched them, they don't like bolognese or lasagne either Hmm

Mammy we don't use it enough but ours is £35 PER MONTH Shock its twenty minutes away and we've been twice this month but not at all last month. I'm not going to renew it. If it was £120 per year I would keep it as it's great when you're kicking about in the school holidays.

mammymammyIRL · 18/02/2018 10:14

They also do birthday parties & I think they'll do seasonal stuff like Halloween/Easter etc dh is skeptical.
I'm thinking if we only went 4 times it pays for itself & it's only €10 a month. Dc could go with au pair weekly in summer holidays too to make a change from the beach. They also do birthday parties & dd loves animals.

OP posts:
mammymammyIRL · 18/02/2018 10:17

Must you pay annually or is there a monthly or summer membership option wreck

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 18/02/2018 10:21

I may monthly but it's an annual contract and they make you pay two months upfront so you don't just get it for the summer holidays and then cancel. And you still have to pay for pony rides and to go on the quad bikes Hmm

ChristmasSeacow · 18/02/2018 10:22

Lovely roast chicken lunch planned here today. I don’t do a roast every week so DH is pleased. We have a lot of cleaning and stuff to move today ahead of the carpet (and sofa!) cleaners coming on Tuesday so it’s going to be a full-on day!

mammymammyIRL · 18/02/2018 10:23

This one is near a seaside place and is offering weeks membership for €60.

OP posts:
mammymammyIRL · 18/02/2018 10:27

Pony rides shouldn't be an extra charge but understand quad bikes charge

In our local soft play there a little quads on a track, air hockey, teddy machines, tattoos, bouncy ball etc. As a rule I don't have change Wink

Seacow what times lunch?

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 18/02/2018 10:29

Yes they're the little quad bikes you put a coin in to make them go. Then it's extra for face paint etc when they have events on. Also when they had their panto and Father Christmas it was going to cost us more to go to than it cost us to go to Longleat, despite us being members. Thieves.

mammymammyIRL · 18/02/2018 11:00

Spends so far today
€16.15 on ferry (15% disc for booking online)
€1.90 toll
€3.30 12 pk water, needed loo and hate using facilities without buying something plus will need water for rest of my journey. Will put in boot for long car journeys. Our local centra doesn't do this pack & it's super value.

OP posts:
mammymammyIRL · 18/02/2018 11:05

Wreck thanks for your insight. I hoped we'd pay for a family visit & if we decided to join they'd discount this but that's not an option. Would have to add au pair at €30 per year or pay €9 per visit.
I think they'd love it with a picnic so would add her for the year if we do it.

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 18/02/2018 11:33

£10 a month sounds very reasonable. £35 a month is more than my car insurance.

Dh has escaped to pils. I think my suggestion of a walk frightened him Grin
