Mammy How soon can you test it?.

Wolf I've done the same in a rental. Can you repaint? Your already prepping the walls anyway.

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/02/2018 20:13

Em I don't think the photos are as good for that second house. It might be better once inside though.
Defo avoid a diydonter.

£8 Morrison's, £3 fitness.

ememem84 · 01/02/2018 20:16

To be fair they are crap photos. I will report back tomorrow. I may be suprised. There’s part of me that hopes I am (because we can offer and if accepted were steps closer to having a new home). Part of me wants to say no because I want the other house (but that’s a non starter because dh has said no).

I’ve said to him (from the crap pictures) the things we’d need to do immediately - carpet the living room versus things I’d want sooner rather than later - new kitchen (or at the least paint cabinet doors).

It could be great.

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/02/2018 20:39

See what happens when you get there.

needastrongone · 01/02/2018 20:42

Yeah, Kirsty and Phil are all for viewing a property. Grin

needastrongone · 01/02/2018 20:46

bandit you sound like me, you are describing my house, and DH would shuffle off tomorrow but that's 'cos he it always having itchy feet and never satisfied.

I appear to have agreed to run 18 miles on Sunday with one of our fast cat guys. Should be fun. He messaged me tonight, I had no excuses, he's a lovely bloke who supports everyone in the club, he will drag me round if nothing else.

needastrongone · 01/02/2018 20:59

Just to share, this is the first time tonight we've taken Dpony training in our discipline. It's super fast and bendy at our level so we've done lots of other stuff with him (schooling, dressage, tiny bit of jumping, hacking) but not games. He was super excited and quite a handful as he ADORES games but he was also brilliant. And DD is in bits with happiness. And I'm in bits because I love them both so much.

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/02/2018 21:23

He's a got a lot of energy considering he's no youngster.

£5 in nectar points collected tonight. They keep sending Dh 300 point vouchers because I don't use that one often so I'll use that tomorrow.

I think it's swipe & win this weekend.

Cagliostro · 01/02/2018 21:24

Aw need that’s lovely 🐴❤️

Well you lot have chatted away, four pages in 24hrs. Just caught up 😀 I see Bromley mentioned, that’s where I was born, I’ve wondered what the social housing situation is there. Not good I suppose. Mum’s new flat is ex council, big block of them all sold off years back.

Love I would love a swimsuit if it’s not needed by you, thank you, please let me know what you’d like for it! I’m excited to try swimming with her as she’s my first baby who actually doesn’t hate baths 😂 we have a home ed discount card so hopefully we can go lots.

Spends £4ish Boots, still hormonal and ugh. Rubbish few days. Looking forward to tomorrow though, I’m taking Caglets to the library for baby rhyme (will give them some home ed task to do while the session is on) to get us all out the house and leave DH with the plumber. Should be £100 to replace what’s worn out, we have to pay and then send the invoice to the LL after, he didn’t want to invoice a third party directly which is fair enough.

ememem84 · 01/02/2018 21:37

Crap. I’ve just realised we have 4 weeks until we have to move out of here. Arse.

Wolfcub · 01/02/2018 22:04

Yikes Em that’s tight. We’ve been in that nowhere to move to position with a tiny baby. It’s really hard. A good removal company who can store your stuff are worth their weight in gold. To be honest if I could have afforded to pay them to pack for us too I would have done

AdoraBell · 01/02/2018 22:14

£6 on breakfast/lunch Hmm I overslept and didn’t have time to eat before Pilates. Grocery order was £130 Shock lots of things had run out, next week’s will be cheaper.

Moanranger · 02/02/2018 00:05

Em defo could facelift this! A different porch, maybe longer ( horizontal) Change garage doors. Smarten up front with a bit of soft & hard Landscape.
I love a garage, myself. Handy to use as an indoor space for workshop type stuff, & I claim it for my car, most days. ( stay out of rain, princess that I am Wink)

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/02/2018 06:07

4 weeks, no bother. Looks like you are going to your parents though for a bit? Even if you offer today will the court stuff be fine in time?
Get a price for Packers and storage, Packers and removal and storage.
Just removal and storage if you can pack yourself.
Everything you don't need in boxes with a list on the front and side.
You can do it.

Good news about dpony. Is his leg fully better now then?

Nsd planned today.

ShoopShoop · 02/02/2018 07:21

Unexpectedly spendy day yesterday unfortunately.

£20 ish M&S - foody bits
£25 pub visit Blush
£16 Hobbycraft

NSD planned for today.

TFI Friday. Another day of interviews to get through today and then I plan to collapse in a heap with gin

Love all the talk of houses and DIY. We live in a really old cottage - beautiful, but incredibly expensive to heat and still loads of work to do on it even though we moved in nearly 4 years ago. Shock

WreckTangled · 02/02/2018 07:31

I'm going food shopping today. Boring.

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/02/2018 07:38

www.hotukdeals.com/deals/cancellation-of-now-tv-movies-pass-offer-retention-399-now-tv-2887735

Worth buying a months pass, then cancelling & seeing if you can get a discount. Especially with half term coming up.

Nectar swipe and win is on, I'm going to fill the car up in £10 lots, then buy a pizza for Dh. That's at least 800 points earned.

WreckTangled · 02/02/2018 07:43

Awesome fluffy thanks!

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/02/2018 08:09

I'm going in the morning and getting my shipping in £10 lots. Yes I'm that annoying person at the till.

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/02/2018 08:17

Me too. Dh walks off & pretends were not together Grin

Why the hell not though? You've got to maximise your chances of getting a decent prize.

Wolfcub · 02/02/2018 08:44

Blind fitting in 20 minutes. I’m dreading it, nothing is every straightforward in our house, I’m paying extra to give the hassle to someone else and I’m still stressed about it! Going out for coffee with a friend later but need to write a competency example first ☹️ Low spend day planned if you don’t count the blind

WreckTangled · 02/02/2018 09:02

I forgot my bag 😭😭😭😭 ffs just driven 18 miles and I can't even get anything. Fuck.

Wolfcub · 02/02/2018 09:08

Hmm, grumpy blind fitters. This is not inspiring confidence

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/02/2018 09:16

Oh no wreck. Bugger

There really is no need for grumpy trades people. They should be prepped for all jobs

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/02/2018 09:17

Totally agree fluffster. I got about £30 of points last time.
