They have had a lot of hits from round the country on that house! em it's lovely, and bright, and clean. A wee bit of dog smell will go once the dogs go (the owners probably can't smell it, you become immune).

My sister scrubbed the loo at the old shop today, with lots of bleach! She used the word "unsanitary" a lot, she's being brilliant! Spent £6 on some lunch for us, and then £28 postage (all paid for by buyers, must transfer), £2.40 on sweets, and paid in 4 old pound coins!

We have 2 trips to do home tomorrow to shift some mdf and the old shop sign, and one last trip to storage, and the tip. Don't know when the guy is coming for the keys, but hopefully after that is all done.

Beans on toast for tea. Cheap tea number 2 to compensate for Dominoes on saturday.

cag she's getting such a big girl! And so cute. But I get the "please please sleep now" at silly times of the night!

seacow fingers crossed you have turned a corner with the sleep. You will all be so much happier!

need stupid dog owners Angry I hope your pups are ok. A horrid dog took 2 lumps out of my big dog, on 2 seperate occasions, "Oh, he's never done that before" said the woman, twice. We know the local bobby, he popped round for a few curt words. Unless you get a sick kick from it, why the hell wouldn't you put your dog on a lead ffs if it goes for others?

LonelyOversharer · 30/01/2018 16:49

wreck your poor boy, that looks very sore.

ChristmasSeacow · 30/01/2018 16:57

I did ask Wreck but I still can’t look BlushGrin

I get so mad at irresponsible dog owners Need. Your poor dogs

Em it’s so annoying when they start needing routine and you have to choose between doing stuff you want /need and Messing With the Routine. 😬😬😬 Really slows everything down.

I’ve no tinned tomatoes in the house. Me, the queen of food hoarding. I’ve messaged DH. I’ll not be popular.

WreckTangled · 30/01/2018 17:09

Em dd was a real stickler for routine she would only sleep in her cot! Ds wasn't as bad at all but I suppose he didn't have much choice. He mainly slept on me!

MerryShitmas · 30/01/2018 17:49

$3 on a bottle of Bundaberg. Their creaming soda is amazing. Blush
$0.70 on 1.5L of milk. Other than that a pretty good day!

SunnyLikeThursday · 30/01/2018 18:23

Fluffy That made me laugh so much. LOL! Smile GP with telescope

Laska5772 · 30/01/2018 18:37

Moanranger, thanks for the recommendation, we'll check it out next time we're over that way. I think £12 on top of membership is a lot to pay for an exhibition. I would have paid a fiver, but not all that.

WreckTangled · 30/01/2018 18:51

Laska they used to cut them think. They dangly bit should wear away, I've been hoping it'll split really otherwise it might have caused a gap between his adult front teeth

LonelyOversharer · 30/01/2018 18:58

And it's so painful when it goes later! Mine swelled up and broke when I had my braces, it still gets sore palette side when I eat too many tomatoes oddly. I had a gap I could put a £1 coin in, and wept at the orthadontist when he said he could close the gap (was there to fix wonky back bottom teeth, so top brace not needed as well). Was he tounge tied as well wreck? dd3 had almost a full tongue tie, and her lip is joined on with the webby bit too. So odd how our bodies are all the same/but very different!

WreckTangled · 30/01/2018 19:02

Oh no lonely dd will need braces and she still has a tongue tie. He didn't have a tongue tie luckily dh still has a tt though Confused

SnugglySnerd · 30/01/2018 19:59

Finally found time to sit down and catch up!
Sorry for your loss Adora.
Also sorry about your dogs Need, that's awful. Was that the HFW houmous? I like that one. The beetroot and walnut one is also good.
Lovely photo Cag, she's a cutie!

My nsd failed as I bought some books on Amazon.

needastrongone · 30/01/2018 20:17

wrecked, I'm sorry about your DS, my own was a complete stickler for routine too, still is. Dd (2nd child) had to fit in. Although, as they were so close in age I managed (forced) them into the habit of a lunchtime nap when they were both little. Lasted a wonderful 18 months or so and saved my sanity having 90 minutes to myself in the middle of the day, DH never being around.

snuggly, yes it was! I'm loving the book, it's almost a thing of beauty how he describes the recipes and how they turn out. I haven't tried the beetroot and walnut but what a combination, isn't that a good idea?! I would never have thought about it.

How you feeling laska and mammy?

Thanks re the dogs, dog1 will be fine as he's fairly bombproof, it's the last thing dog2 needs. Agree fluffy, hitting the other dog was hardly helpful. Here they are, they lay at my feet all day, they make it difficult to cook!

needastrongone · 30/01/2018 20:19

Sorry,

First Frugalling month of 2018 almost done , so Forging forward into Feb we go
Girliefriendlikesflowers · 30/01/2018 20:19

Hi all just catching up.

wreck that pic made my toes curl!! Your poor ds, dd did similar coming off her bike last year, she has a small scar above her top lip now as a lasting reminder.

meadow that's great going with the sleep training, I sleep trained dd and have never regretted it. I think teaching them good sleep habits is a vital life skills.

em the house sounds lovely, I remember the being slave to dds routine days, she would sleep best in her cot so had to be home by 2 pm everyday!!

need your poor dog's, hope they are okay.

Had a busy day, work was hectic and dd had her drama group tonight. I popped to tesco while she was there and spent £35, that was on 3 big bags of soil, stuff for dds bday and a few food bits.

£1.80 on chips for tea.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 30/01/2018 20:22

Sorry above message for seacow not meadow 😶

Harryet88 · 30/01/2018 20:27

can-not-wait-for-pay-day-tomorrow!!! Wine Wine

MeadowHay · 30/01/2018 20:43

Haha girlie I was very confused for a second there. I pondered whether my baby had perhaps been born without me realising Grin.

I am soo tired. Doing FT hours back at work now, but adjusted so I come in at 10.30am and stay til 7pm. I have booked tomorrow off and next Wed too to break up the week so I can rest in-between as my energy levels are still nowhere near what they were pre-HG so it is feeling touuugh atm. But we need the money...

Spends: £1 on a pack of bounties, 90p on a brownie, 60p on a can of pop...I just want to eat sugary shite all the time now Blush.

Hope everyone is ok, my eyes are too tired to read back and catch up properly.

DH and I are going to book a little holiday to Dublin I think, not frugal given we are skint but we thought one last trip away just us before the baby comes would be nice. If anyone has any recommendations for good value hotels or B&Bs in Dublin please let me know as I'm overwhelmed by the choice and don't know anyone who has been.

Laska5772 · 30/01/2018 20:53

I am trying to type with a cat which insists on putting his big bum on the keyboard.

Meadow we went to the Jurys inn . not luxurious but perfectly fine..
Dublin is great ..

Need sorry about your dogs . I am ok, quite shivery and achey , but guilt tells me that I should go in tomorrow though , but ill see how i feel .

meadow ah the sugary stage. I remember that. I bulk bought haribo sour strawberries from amazon.

Tomorrow we are having a stay at home Day. I have washin to do and want to see if I can reclaim ppi/Plevin. Martin Lewis has a guide on Mse website. So am going to follow.

In bed now. Watching stranger things. Ds is sleeping. He did some crazy crying just before then some wicked farts. Poor baby.

Wolfcub · 30/01/2018 21:16

Figures crunched for Feb again in advance of pay day tomorrow. I think the joint account will be ok, my account will be really tight but I want to make sure I pay another 200 off my half of the holiday. Dh is well ahead of me now through money made selling some of his hobby stuff and my competitive side is taking that badly. I definitely can’t catch up in Feb though, my car is due a major service and MOT at the end of the month.
Hope you all have happily sleeping babies tonight/flu free sleep/contented pets

Laska5772 · 30/01/2018 21:18

em did yo put an offer in on that house?

wreck i didn't even know that about Paloma Faith! Ahh well I still love her 😉

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 30/01/2018 21:30

meadow you will definitely realise when your baby has been born 😂

Unescorted · 30/01/2018 21:37

Evening!

Wreck hope he mends soon.
Need I am awe of all your running. I would love to get to a place where I loved it but I keep going over on an ankle. That puts me back to the love child of a beetroot and a steam train stage.
Cag this time I can say how beautiful she is..... Love the babygro.
Harry know how you feel but it is still 2weeks away. Sob.

My dad came out of hospital today, dh did a shop to list weekly shop that should last 10 days and I only spent a reclaimable £2.40 on a train ticket. And I have finished my effing audits..... All told a stellar day 😁
