There is a dunhelm opening opposite my work soon. Yippee. Not for wallet though.

hamburgers · 15/11/2017 20:50

@ememem84 a pot of guacamole 😂😂😂 oh dear!

Cagliostro · 15/11/2017 21:01

Yay ham so exciting!

£52 Nando's treated mum £5 charity shop (science kit and snap circuits which I nearly spent £40 on new for xmas!) not sure what train fare was. £25 Boots - outfit for baby (she has been only in sleepsuits thus far) maternity pads which fell out of my bag on the bus 😳😂 and a rainbow dash teddy for DS 💕

Cagliostro · 15/11/2017 21:03

Ooh and £40 on xmas boardgame for DSCs. I may have also added some more games to my wishlist and am wondering whether to use my birthday money from mum on them...

Cagliostro · 15/11/2017 21:30

Also. I am a twit. I was really annoyed about the mermaid pillow I ordered for DD as it was really flat, I was going to return it. Then this morning DH pointed out that it was vacuum packed and that's why it was so flat. He cut the packaging and voila. Poofy pillow. 😳😳😳

Laska5772 · 15/11/2017 21:32

need can you give me more details on £24 on Teapigs Christmas gifts x 4 with a £10 discount code and free delivery Where did you get the discount code?

Amsterdam marathon sounds amazing..!

Loveabaconsandwich · 16/11/2017 03:40

Just had to get up to have a lemsip. I swear this cold is man-flu, it is that bad! 😂🤧

Hope all the frugaleer babies are sleeping sweetly for you tonight

Loveabaconsandwich · 16/11/2017 03:42

Don’t worry cag, we all have our moments like that Smile

mammymammyIRL · 16/11/2017 06:07

Wreck I would also be raging 😤 dh takes either of dc in their car seat in front of his van occasionally and it makes my blood boil especially when my cars parked outside with car seats already inside & he could just use it instead of going to hassle of taking car seat out & putting into van
Car seats are a bugbear of mine

I once found out dh's dsil took ds in car without car seat, she doesn't drive so I didn't supply one. I've rarely asked her to care for him again & if I do car seat is supplied & stressed.

€30 on chippy tea for five of us
€4.50 on two sliced pans & spread. Dh eats a humongous amount of bread & wonders why he remains overweight

@hamburgers brilliant news on baby birth date Grin
Lidl do a leave in argan oil conditioner pot that's very good, I used to leave in for a day when I'd blonde hair & wash out following morning

WreckTangled · 16/11/2017 06:57

Should be a nsd today. Last working day of the week woo hoo! Need a day off. Still got fru flu. 🤧

needastrongone · 16/11/2017 07:13

Laska I got 4 lots of the Teapigs selection box gift set at £9.50. Used a code REALTEA and if you spend £25 or over you get free delivery. I'm guessing the free delivery must apply to original spend, so I wasn't sure if that would apply, but it did. I've bought our parents the Emma Bridgewater or Sopehie Allport cups/mugs on offer. They all love tea so this will be a good pressie for them.

Back later!

WreckTangled · 16/11/2017 07:55

Actually screw it. I’m buying lunch today. Have been eating lunch in my car all week (will be the same today) so I’m going to get something nice.

mammymammyIRL · 16/11/2017 08:22

wreck enjoy your lunch, especially when you're feeling miserable anyhow

mammymammyIRL · 16/11/2017 08:30

I'm debating visiting IKEA on Saturday and buying all new doors for my kitchen, off to price it now. We discussed this last year and have agreed on grey doors but put it off. My df gives us €500 every Christmas, thinking of spending it before I get it Blush

Cagliostro · 16/11/2017 10:25

Ok seriously @LonelyOversharer you really need to change your name to LovelyTalentedSupercrafter or something!

Was having such a tough day yesterday, and then I got home to a parcel with this amazing blanket, hedgehogs and cardigan!!! What a way to cheer me up completely! They are so awesome 😍😍😍

And FYI the note made me cry (in a good way) you lovely lady ❤️

And I forgot to actually say THANK YOU in the above post 💐💐💐

SnugglySnerd · 16/11/2017 10:35

Aw she's so lovely Cag and Lonely you are so talented. Yes change your name like Cag said.

I'm buying lunch today too. Quite excited actually!

LonelyOversharer · 16/11/2017 10:49

You're very welcome cag ! I am unbelievably bad at posting things though, the tinky newborn blanket should have been posted down to you weeks ago.

Have loads to do today, but can't seem to settle to anything. Dd2, still off school (though much better) is busy making a contour cardboard mountain. She's told me three times to leave her alone and that she can do it herself so far.

ememem84 · 16/11/2017 11:33

Agree with the others lonely you are super talented.

We are having a slow day today. I can get myself and ds up and dressed for the day in an hour. But I’ve only just done it. Have been awake since 7. But been lazing in bed.

I think we’re going to head to the post office in a bit. Thank you cards to be posted and a couple of bits to pick up.

Should be lsd.

Cagliostro · 16/11/2017 11:39

Oh it'll be very useful for a good while yet I'm thinking comfort blanket 😀 hope you don't mind me putting the photos up but I couldn't actually describe how lovely they are! Xx
