All

£12 on deodorant, was it a years supply? 😳 I use smartprice from sainsburys in the winter. Mitchum in the summer.

I would hit card factory & the works for birthday supplies. My mum used to give out the same present to every child.

YouTube will have dog clipping tutorials & if you get it a bit wrong the dog won't know.

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/03/2017 18:20

£6 in home bargains. I'm not safe to be let out.

Ouch on the blister mammy.
Well done need on the dividend. And need dh too.
Ouch on the passport wreck.
Welcome chocolate

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/03/2017 18:26

All i can't read line 23 or 27 fully so not sure what dh is spending whilst ?

Sorry if this comes across as hard as it's not meant to.

These spend look mostly like impulse spends: charity shop, material and t shirt s well as treats pub, lunch, Costa.

I'm not saying don't have either but do you have a budget pot for them as they seem to be the things that add up.

I agree the grooming seems a lot. My long haired collie was £40 every 2 -3 months. Could you groom yourself in between?

Who on earth are you, Fingersmith?Hmm

ememem84 · 22/03/2017 18:39

Nsd!! Yeah!!!

Estate agents came round today to take pictures of our flat and to give a valuation. Pleasantly surprised at the result. Cha-Ching!! If someone wants to buy it.

CremeEggThief · 22/03/2017 18:41

I've reported you for your comment, Fingersmith. This is a lovely, mutually supportive thread, where all of the posters get along, and we certainly don't need or want unknown posters deliberately trying to goad and antagonise us.

WreckTangled · 22/03/2017 18:42

Yes fingersmith we are pleased with ourselves. We are also pleased for each other and support each other through our achievements and woes alike.

Our Hoover is broken! It's still under warrantee luckily. Dh has tried taking it all apart as per the trouble shooting guide but no luck so far. Typical when the sparky has been in and left a mess Hmm

Cagliostro · 22/03/2017 18:55

What a weird comment! Confused Hmm

I'm not pleased with myself today as it happens (apart from the fact I've earned some money teaching) I am feeling somewhat useless in fact as extremely tired and achy right now. So very very grateful that DD is getting a lift back from Brownies today, I don't think I even would've managed the bus ride there let alone back so it's saved me taxi fare as well as the energy. Just got to make dinner now which I wouldn't have managed either if I'd gone out too.

What a whackadodle.

AdoraBell · 22/03/2017 18:59

£1.99 spent in town, and £56 yesterday on Sainsbury's delivery. NSDs most of last week other than that.

Glad the Hoover is still within warranty wreck

I've also reported that post.

How can we simulteounsly be competing over whose day was worst but and whose day was best? That logically doesn't make any sense Confused. It's also funny because we all feel comfy and supported here whether we are having a good day or a bad day, why shouldn't we share it with each other either way in this safe, supportive environment? I think you are jealous that we have a nice little community going on here which is unnecessary because you could easily have joined it if you hadn't have been so rude right away but now you have missed out.

Also who eats 10 fruit and veg here? Because I want them to teach me how they do it Grin

CremeEggThief · 22/03/2017 19:11

Yes, off you trot, Finger. Your opinion doesn't count here. Toodle pip!

Wildernesstips · 22/03/2017 19:12

£10 to DS for a new calculator as his is lost at school.

Just made stem ginger for the lemon & ginger scones I am going to make tomorrow for a Red Nose Day. House now smells heavenly!

I think we are all lovely on here - I have never seen this thread as competitive, just supportive. Also reported.

CremeEggThief · 22/03/2017 19:15

Sounds delicious, Wilderness.Smile

AdoraBell · 22/03/2017 19:16

Meadow my DSis does, has been for about a decade. She just eats lots of salad/veg instead of other food stuffs. So hardly any baked goods/bread/rice/pasta and virtually nothing processed or ready made, not very much meat/poultry.

We grew up with the standard meat and two veg diet but she does 4/5 veg and a small portion of protein at each meal, carbs occasionally. She says she realised that sugar, even in whole fruits, was aggravating her CFS so doesn't eat much fruit now.

I'm trying but currently failing miserably Hmm there is a thread, I'm almost sure I've seen need on it, maybe she could link? It's dropped off my TIO.

SnugglySnerd · 22/03/2017 19:28

So nearly an NSD but DH remembered we need fuel for the car so has just gone to fill up.
I've worked out how to feed both babies together - one head resting on each leg and a bottle in each hand!

IdStillRatherBeKnitting · 22/03/2017 19:31

Oh good, mnhq has deleted the silly posts.

Ffs, that really pisses me off.

Just hiding upstairs as dp has loaded a turbo session for me. Am avoiding the inevitable.

Cagliostro · 22/03/2017 19:32

Aw dammit I missed finger's second post! What did it say?!

OP posts:
CremeEggThief · 22/03/2017 19:39

Basically trying to justify him/herself, Cag, and saying s/he wouldn't bother us again.

Thanks for responding to our reports and deleting the posts so quickly, MNHQ.Gin

allthebestplease · 22/03/2017 19:40

Missed the weird post!

My deodorant is a special one that stops sweat and it lasts a year. Best thing I've ever bought.
I used groom dogs myself but it got too difficult. The payment for grooming is once every 4 months for 2 dogs.
I think they are just impulse buys. The tshirt I needed. But all the rest were just stupid consumerism. I'm sure I can do better. The pub is days out, which can be reduced too. I don't set a budget for items anymore as I used to and it made me want to spend it and spend I did.
I shall ponder on the impulse thing, as that interests me to think why.

Em great news about your place.

allthebestplease · 22/03/2017 19:41

And have a good day everyone 😊

ememem84 · 22/03/2017 19:56

Baked chicken with pesto and super leafy salad for dinner.

Dh bought cow feta. I didn't even know you could get cow feta. I thought feta was feta but appparently its goat feta. Which would explain why I didnt like it previously. I hate goats cheese.

WreckTangled · 22/03/2017 20:05

I love goats cheese.

Well done snuggly! You'd have thought there would be some brilliant invention for comfortably bottle feeding twins wouldn't you?
