Did I say it was monthly wiking can't rememberSmile
Don't know who zombie was Sad

Knitting you're not drivelling on at all or if you are so are the rest of us.

Fluffycloudland77 · 31/01/2017 20:43

Long time poster, she had breast cancer iirc. She'd been here years.

I need new pants, mine keep falling down & I thank the Lord every time they go that I wear trousers all the time.

It's most disconcerting to feel your knickers slipping down in the queue in aldi.

By pants I thought you meant trousers fluffy had an image of you with them around your ankles GrinBlush

I need socks, my left big toenail has destroyed so many pairs Hmm

Dc need vests they just keep growing & vests I think shrunk in dryer too.

Just been talking to my db in Canada it's his birthday today, dc sang him happy birthday!

ememem84 · 31/01/2017 21:16

Went to the dr earlier. Turns out there is a very good legit reason for not feeling myself. Feeling super sick and a bit tired. and the fact that period was a week late and I hadn't really clocked it

Excited!!!! A bit shocked. But excited. Eeeek. Smile no more Gin for me.

MeadowHay · 31/01/2017 21:17

Zombie's passed?! Shock Sad Oh God. Poor thing. Rest in peace lovely lady Sad.

CremeEggThief · 31/01/2017 21:20

Oh wow, Em. That's fantastic news. Delighted for you. Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 31/01/2017 21:20

Em I am so pleased for you.

Every time you've been sick I've hoped you were pg.

Well done.

SnugglySnerd · 31/01/2017 21:22

Em so happy for you! Great news Grin yes keep off the gin and rest up, the first couple of months are exhausting.

I was also sad to read about Zombie earlier, she's a mn institution and will be missed.

£78 in supermarket. Mum gave me a tenner she owed me. Haven't achieved much else today and just remembered I've left a load of washing in the machine all day.

ItalianWiking84 · 31/01/2017 21:23

Congrats em lovely news Cake

mammymammyIRL · 31/01/2017 21:27

Oh wow that's fantastic news em GrinStarBear. Once you stopped worrying about it it happened!

Be prepared for unimaginable tiredness 🤷🏻‍♀️👪

My bf is currently expecting they've been trying for a few years.

SnugglySnerd · 31/01/2017 21:29

What did DH say, Em?

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/01/2017 21:31

Em yeah. That's awesome news. So pleased for you.

ememem84 · 31/01/2017 21:34

Thanks guys!! It's only about 5 weeks so still super early.

It's put the scuppers on the nz trip. Dh is going alone. There's no reason why I can't fly. But I'm feeling super sick. And apparently long haul flights would just be uncomfortable. And there's obviously the risk things could go wrong. And in the event that happened I think I'd rather be home. Dh agrees. He'd rather I don't take the risk/put myself through the stress.

this does mean that I'm in charge of moving house. Or at least starting the process.

ememem84 · 31/01/2017 21:36

Dh can't stop smiling although we're both flitting between happy excited to "wtf have we done how are we going to deal with this...!"

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 31/01/2017 21:37

Congrats Em thats brilliant news, am so pleased for you! When does that make you due, October ish?

Thats so sad re Zombie breast cancer is a bitch Angry not fair and I have seen first hand the devastation it leaves behind.

It was football subs tonight £20 and dd went to bed saying her throat was sore again - gah!!

Fluffycloudland77 · 31/01/2017 21:38

It's having the cat, she's put you in mummy mode!

ememem84 · 31/01/2017 21:39

Yep. Just after my birthday. better not be on my birthday

ememem84 · 31/01/2017 21:39

Apparently she knew before we did. She was on my lap on Friday purring away while I was getting pissed on Gin

Beeneatingburnttoast · 31/01/2017 21:40

Congratulations em!

If it makes you feel better, I was surprised both times even though we were trying as I guess I thought it wouldn't happen

Tryingtosaveup · 31/01/2017 21:42

Wow, Em, fantastic news. So pleased for you. We won't tell anyone. Still going to NZ?
Cath, you do seem to have really bad luck with your health, you and your DS. Hope you feel better soon. When my DGD was ill I too bought up the entire Amazon supply of sticker books. They are amazing and totally necessary.
Welcome newbies. This is a great thread. Everyone is friendly and supportive and non judgemental.
