I suspect Christmas tiredness is the short daylight hours. Winter Equinox soon.

£2 superdrug body butter
£2 I owe to Dh.

I've been selected to do a gfk survey for £25. It's three months long 😔.

WreckTangled · 08/12/2016 17:04

Nsd.

CremeEggThief · 08/12/2016 17:14

NSD in cash, but £50.50 on my card for hair (cut, colour and straightened) and gel polish on fingers and toes. It's the work night out tomorrow night. 3 course meal and disco at a posh hotel.

I've always felt more tired and some years, really low in mood and motivation, probably since I was a teenager. I think it affects everyone, but some people are hit harder than others.

CremeEggThief · 08/12/2016 17:15

Should have in winter in that last paragraph.

SnugglySnerd · 08/12/2016 17:23

I'm exhausted too. Need to go late night xmas shopping for people I'm seeing this weekend but really don't want to go.
Haven't had a very productive day really. Saw midwife, mixed Xmas puddings to boil tomorrow and ordered a voucher for a posh afternoon tea for my dad and stepmum's Xmas gift. They are incredibly hard to buy for but I think they'll enjoy that.

allthebestplease · 08/12/2016 17:23

Watched the school nativity today, all very cute.

Cagliostro · 08/12/2016 17:25

Well now I am pissed off. Just got off the train in London and got a text from the playhouse saying the performance is cancelled due to a technical fault! :(

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/12/2016 17:32

Oh no, you poor thing. Will they rearrange for another time?.

Cagliostro · 08/12/2016 17:40

Yes they've said they can refund or rearrange for a different performance. I'd prefer the latter although there may not be another day where all five of us can go. DSD travelled from Winchester to south London so spent more on train fare than us :( going to go for dinner as planned so will be good to catch up with her.

Cagliostro · 08/12/2016 17:41

They can't have taken the decision lightly though, its opening night!

mammymammyIRL · 08/12/2016 17:58

Not read all the posts yet but cag there's 19.5 years between dh& I! I'm 33.

Needastrongone · 08/12/2016 18:07

I really can't say this time of year affects me at all. I like all the different seasons and try to see the positive side of each one. However, I do walk the dogs twice a day. The second walk is a good hour in the fresh air, which is non negotiable and invigorating.

SIL does suffer, but also suffers with depression (she's also bi-polar and had postpartum psychosis). I do wonder if it's linked, although DH is fine too.

Sorry I'm not reading so much at present. DH has given me some cash to cover expenses at the minute. I'm also running 5 times a week and strength training twice, my life is busy anyway so fitting that in is fun. Smile Haven't felt so fit, positive and healthy in years, the more I run, the more energy I have!!! Dropped over a stone and running competitively again.

£4 in Aldi today.

I'm off for the fabled Soap and Glory offer in Boots tomorrow, I have enough points.

DD has just got all A's in her mocks, well equivalent in the new numerical grading. Go DD.

WreckTangled · 08/12/2016 18:07

Wow creme that's a bargain for all of that I hope you enjoy tomorrow night.

Oh Cag that's so disappointing!! At least you get to see dsd though.

Needastrongone · 08/12/2016 18:10

How you feeling Snuggly, when do you finish? Hard time of year for teachers anyway.

Fluffy £40 in TCB just doing Christmas shopping.

Needastrongone · 08/12/2016 18:11

Enjoy the night out Creme. Bet you look fantastic!

Needastrongone · 08/12/2016 18:13

ps - Do you have a lamp Creme, I think they are called solar lamps? DSiL uses that loads. It's to do with the light isn't it?x

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/12/2016 18:21

Excellent Need. Well done to your DD.

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/12/2016 18:32

Well done need dd and I love that dress. it's just my style. I need a result yin to get back to 3 fitness days a week. Can't this week as dh is still away
Have fun crème
Boo cag, not good. Enjoy dinner though.

Nsd. Outdoor tree up. Showed the dc their mam can wield a saw with the best of them.

CathodeRayTube · 08/12/2016 18:32

I'm pretty chuffed. I just got the interest payment from a 2 year fixed rate bond. I always feel pleased when one of those comes in. :-)

Also I spent the day in bed with a good book. Smile

Needastrongone · 08/12/2016 18:32

Sorry, first paragraph of my post sounded a bit twattish, didn't mean it to, I'm sat having a quick cuppa before Boxercise.

CremeEggThief · 08/12/2016 18:32

Oh wow, that's great, Need. Congratulate her from me!Chocolate I don't feel bad enough to warrant a lamp, tbh, but I'm sure they are good for lots of folk. Maybe I'm just too fond of my fairy lights and candles though!

How incredibly annoying, Cag. At least you can enjoy dinner with your DSD, so not all is lost, but still disappointing.

Needastrongone · 08/12/2016 18:33

Grin at the lumberjack image life. Fitness is harder if you need childcare for sure. Thank you re the dress.

CremeEggThief · 08/12/2016 18:33

Sounds great, Cath. I might do that tomorrow morning, as I have no work booked in.

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/12/2016 18:34

Did it need? I didn't read it and think twat.
It is important to get natural light but in the absence of that I found vitd supplement helps. Cheap one from Morrison's. Also vit c with zinc
