Oh no poor cat :( that can't have been nice to see :(

I have Yule log envy

WreckTangled · 04/12/2016 19:24

Oh girlie that's sad.

We only do 0% if we have to pay for anything on credit.

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/12/2016 20:52

Ah poor cat and you wreck.

Will stick with Mary then. May do a test run and try it out on my work team. There is usually a willing guinea pig at work for cake.

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/12/2016 21:06

Sorry I meant girlie

Tryingtosaveup · 04/12/2016 21:07

Love all the trees and decorations. Not doing mine til next week after all the mess from the bathroom is cleared away. There I'd dust everywhere.
Feel really sick today. Was with my friend in Wales and had to go and lie down. Then had a 4 hour drive home.
Curled up in front of fire now. Going to have early night.
I'm never ill.
Wreck that is a terrible experience. Poor little cat. Some bloody drivers just don't care. And poor you finding it.
Wilderness I love that sight. I spent an hour looking through it. Really good advice on there. I never knew to keep apples in the fridge.

CollieMonster · 04/12/2016 21:40

Oh girlie that's so sad :(

Yule log envy here too!!

CremeEggThief · 04/12/2016 21:43

Sorry to hear that, Girlie. Must have been a shock.Sad

Hope you feel better soon, Trying.Brew

CollieMonster · 05/12/2016 09:35

I didn't do any December goals but I don't think I have any apart from staying out of the overdraft and ending the month with a hundred leftover.

My only pair of jeans have ripped in a dodgy area Xmas Sad I feel like I will be battling shite jeans forever. Too expensive to replace this month though.

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/12/2016 10:05

Well that's as good a goal as any for this time of year collie

Poor cat Girlie. Chippings usually done at neutering, I wonder if it was an unneutered cat out partying?.

Need, good M&S wine offer here. www.hotukdeals.com/deals/buy-any-2-more-wine-champagne-beer-prosecco-bottles-cases-save-an-additional-25-2566376

The society have sent my membership renewal through, £410 a year for indemnity cover. I've emailed asking to cancel. I'll get professional insurance elsewhere for less than that.

CollieMonster · 05/12/2016 11:19

Weekly shop was £57 in the end as I added a few cupboard bits Xmas Smile

Cagliostro · 05/12/2016 11:43

I hate buying jeans Collie I only have one pair too.

Weekly shop done a little early this week as we needed the cleaning stuff, also got some treaty food for my birthday :o

Tryingtosaveup · 05/12/2016 12:08

When's your birthday Cag? Is it today ? If it is Happy Birthday.
My goals are also simple this month. Not to overspend on Christmas like I usually do. And the end the year with a new bathroom.

Cagliostro · 05/12/2016 12:26

Aw thanks :) it's Wednesday. The big 3-0 😱

WreckTangled · 05/12/2016 14:56

Not sure how much I've spent today but am really getting there with the shopping. Roughly:

£10 Costa
£24 Jojo Maman Bebe
£20 tk maxx
£6.99 Amazon
£30 fuel.

WreckTangled · 05/12/2016 14:57

Also found out the awesome spa in town does 50% NHS discount on a Monday Xmas ShockXmas Grin

ItalianWiking84 · 05/12/2016 14:59

Nsd. Home with both dds. Dd1 had hep b vaccine today, luckily the next ones are first when she's turning 4.

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/12/2016 16:07

Those of you who have been moved to co-op energy have you put your membership number in, if you have one, might get points

Nsd so far. About to spend £100 on a stunt scooter for ds Christmas

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/12/2016 16:11
Shock

Excellent tip.

Needastrongone · 05/12/2016 16:38

Cheers Fluffy Smile Some good deals on there, I've bought from the shop already.

NSD

AdoraBell · 05/12/2016 17:12

Collie are there any offers on line that make jeans affordable for you right now? Many stores are doing Cyber Monday.

👍 Get in there Wreck, 1st Monday of each month sounds nice if it's affordable.

Spent about £14 in Boots, dental floss plus stocking fillers.

Tryingtosaveup · 05/12/2016 17:47

Thanks lifelong, I've just been moved over and I have a co op card. Will do it now.

Wildernesstips · 05/12/2016 17:53

LSD, just £2.00 on car parking.

Cagliostro · 05/12/2016 18:08

This having real life grown up mum/dad friends lark is quite overwhelming. We have an INVITE for New Years, games and food/sleepover for the kids. And offers of help from various people when the kids have their hospital appts later this month. And quite a few people are coming to my birthdday gathering. What?! For a habitual loner this is refreshing. :)

Needastrongone · 05/12/2016 18:10

Fluffy - Just bought 6 x red on offer at half price, 6 x white also on offer at half price, got 25% off for buying 2 boxes and used TCB. 12 bottles of wine for £4.20 per bottle, which is probably cheaper even than Aldi for M&S wine. Thanks, so useful for Christmas and we are doing a lot of entertainment x

Mummyreindeerlegz · 05/12/2016 18:17

£47 in Tesco, some dairy free bits and meat for when friends come for the weekend, bin bags, foil and a to times. Seemed like a fortune! I only had two bags for that.

£13 posting eBay packages and a couple of secret Santa gifts.
