I should also say electric cars are like automatic cars in that they don't have gears, just park, reverse and drive. They are very easy to drive once you get past the lack of engine. Mine has lots of lovely extras, it practically drives for me.
Like I say it really isn't for everyone but it's great for me.

Cagliostro · 28/08/2016 18:44

These are the ones I got for the Caglets. Will possibly get confusing as they both have the same design! There were a few others though.

AGenie · 28/08/2016 18:51

lilac I have reported your email post to MNHQ so they can anonymise it for you. I hope that's okay. Dwinnol thanks for the thoughts about electric cars.

Ememem84 · 28/08/2016 18:59

italian thank you!!! I've just rubbed some frozen onion on my arm and it's sort of numbed it. Dh think's I'm a nut case.

Have been tempted this afternoon by Internet shopping. So far have filled 4 online baskets. And not checked out. Smile I don't need any of the things I'd selected. Thank goodness credit card is still awol.

lilacclery · 28/08/2016 19:05

I spent €7 on a lovely mustard top in sale at h&m and €24 in dealz which included 4 inflatable camping pillows, a couple of Led lanterns, chocolate, colouring pencils & lots more

dwinnol car sounds fab for your needs

Genie maybe you should do the 4 day test drive?

Great ideas here for sewing machine

I forgot to go to cash machine today. I need cash for cleaner on Tuesday, will have to buy something tomorrow & get cashback if dh doesn't have any. We don't have any cash machines nearby live in the sticks Grin

ItalianWiking84 · 28/08/2016 19:16

Em: your welcome. The benefit of having a mil from Indonesia where natural products are more known to fix different things than medicine. I have a whole little booklet over her good advices and natural remedies...

SnugglySnerd · 28/08/2016 19:30

The electric car sounds great. Can you get massive electric people carriers?!

Sorry to hear about poorly Wreckcat. I think Snugglycat is going back to the vet too this week. He's been sick 4 times since Friday, poor love.

WreckTangled · 28/08/2016 19:38

I don't know if 8 is about but if you are I went and saw half a sixpence on Friday and it was bloody amazing! I would see it again if I could get tickets. Work paid so even better. I'm going sailing tomorrow with work too so free again.

My phone won't turn on Angry

lilacclery · 28/08/2016 19:44

Mnhq rock!! They edited out my details from my earlier post. Thanks to everyone who drew my attention to it.
I need my bed but can't exactly go before the dc.
Well done on going to pub & not giving in & having a drink em

8FencingWire · 28/08/2016 19:47

wreck, I heard it's really good. My work does a £5 a ticket deal, I'll check it out! Thank you.

I had a house full today, friends and family visited, we had a big meal and a good time was had by all :)

WreckTangled · 28/08/2016 19:53

It's only on for another week but it was fabulous. Do you know when the aldi is opening?

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/08/2016 20:03

Right that's an epic read done. I'm not commenting on everything as it would be to long. The exception being:
Congratulations need and girlie dc
Flowers lilac and Italian. Look after yourselves too.

Holiday was a bit more spendy but not much. The dc loved it so time to up the frugal game for more abroad holidays. Their first choice is Florida Disney et AL. Any ideas how I can do it in a frugal way.

The good news is I'm keeping my promo for another year. I went back to work and loads was sorted so feel much better.

Welcome newbies and returners

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 28/08/2016 20:13

Blimey you lot have been busy!

Lila i missed you outing yourself so I still don't know who you are Grin

Cag bras are stupidly expensive, my boobs completely changed in the last couple of years and went from 34b to 34dd Confused I only have two bras that fit at the moment and they came from Sainsburys!

Wreck poor puss, sometimes allergies or fleas can make them pull their fur out, sometimes just stress.

Collie don't feel bad about spending some money on yourself, its important to feel nice and in the words of L'oreal you're worth it Wink I have def spent a bit more on myself this year, I tend to think its better to have a few nice expensive things than lots of stuff you don't really like iyswim?

8 I did not know that re registration fees, I will ring the NMC I think as that would be loads better! Fluffy yes I claim tax relief on the fees as well as various other things!

I have managed another NSD, happy with that - being at work makes such a difference to how much I spend! Am off tomos though and my plans are (after a nice long lie in) to sort the front garden out which has been over taken with weeds. I think I will put some stones/slate down which is what next door have done, might get some more plants as well. My Aunt and Uncle have given me £30 so will put that towards things for the garden Smile

Colliefeatures · 28/08/2016 20:23

lilac Grin when I saw your details I was like "arghhh there's no way she meant to do that!" Haha! Glad MNHQ sorted it pretty sharpish :)

wreck yay! Was getting worried about you :) sorry about your cag though.

girlie you are so right! The guilt is definitely fading. Lots of people in our estate have put purpley slate stones down in the front areas. It looks gorgeous!

I also have a electric car envy! And cag I love those wellies!! Will check for his size. Smile

Colliefeatures · 28/08/2016 20:23

Cat not cag!

ItalianWiking84 · 28/08/2016 20:30

Wreck: our cat did that too, the vet says its stress related and often happens when cats has been rehomed because you don't know what have happened before they came to you, but he recommended salmon oil in food and has really helped our cat... Only a very small spot left now. Perhaps worth a try?

WreckTangled · 28/08/2016 20:39

I've put some aloe on it and we've kept him in since 6pm in case he's fighting as that's the reason he was rehomed in the first place Hmm

Tryingtosaveup · 28/08/2016 20:52

My boobs have also changed a lot in the last few years. I used to get away with not wearing a bra but, unfortunately they have grown at menopause. Now, if I do any exercise they wobble so have had to be fitted for a bra.
So sorry about wreckcat. Hope the vet, or salmon oil can sort it soon.
I went to the village BBQ tonight, so spent £11.50, but had 2 hot dogs with lots of different salads, 2 drinks and raffle tickets. It was great.
Also people gave me a big bag of bramley apples and another bag of Victoria plums because they had a glut.
Went blackberry picking also but they are not ready yet here. Next week maybe. Different varieties ripen at different times and ours must be late.

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/08/2016 21:21

Lethargy can be sepsis in animals. They're good at hiding pain until it's really bad. If long hair cats get matts in their fur they pull them out and it leaves bald patches like that.

Long hair furminators and a zoom groom help. We had three long hair cats growing up, one had to be dematted at the vets, it's non stop keeping them knot free.

I know when ours is ill because he stops being naughty.

£5 tea and cake in a national trust cafe
£10 fuel

Taytocrisps · 28/08/2016 21:25

Hi everyone, sorry I've not been posting much lately. Just been busy with life I guess. Anyway, hope everyone is keeping well.

It's been an expensive week or two getting DD kitted out for school.

I'll read back a bit tomorrow and try to catch up.

8FencingWire · 28/08/2016 21:30

wreck, no idea, they are still building it I think.
:)

WreckTangled · 28/08/2016 21:43

Fluffy he hates being groomed he does get some matts but we do our best Sad

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/08/2016 21:47

I know it's hard. They often hate being groomed.

All of our Persians hated it too, my Bengal rolls over to have his tummy brushed. It takes the piss because their meant to be feisty.

WreckTangled · 28/08/2016 21:49

We can't do anything at the moment because his skin is so sore. I still think he's happy with us though, I'm in bed and he's currently lying by my feet.
