wreck, I've never been to TGI. Raided Decathlon though. £80 got us PE bag, hockey boots, shin pads, mouth guard, trainers for PE, water bottle and PE socks. Then i spotted just how huge that John lewis is across the street. Jeeez!!! Resisted temptation and drove home.

Haha 8 Ikea is ridiculous Grin I don't think it is possible to leave without spending a minimum of £100, that said all of the stuff I bought in Ikea over the summer I have been really pleased with.

Fluffy o.kay will keep an eye on him, no puddles this morning though thank God!

Dd went off to her new school this morning, she was so nervous bless her and it feels all quiet and weird without her Sad the summer seemed to fly by in the end.

Can't believe how quickly the weather seems to have changed, my hot water wasn't very hot this morning which I guess is because the solar panels haven't had as much sun on them. This is a problem as I still can't work out how to use the boiler Blush this is when having a partner would be really useful!!

Dd has flipping thread worms again Shock we have not got on top of this this year at all Blush it doesn't seem to matter how much washing I do she just gets them again. I think nail biting might be a big part of the problem so am religiously painting her nails with the foul tasting stuff every night! Will have to pick some tablets later though might have a look in children health for some tips!

It's been a busy weekend here and not too spendy until yesterday when we had a meal out. We went up to the Lakes as sil & her dh & ds are there on holiday. Had a lovely walk by Ullswater and a great pub lunch. The dc now both have adult meals so it really adds up, but it was worth it.
Back on the frugal wagon today, both dc back at school. Building work on the loft seems to be going well. I'm going back to work tomorrow which I'm a bit anxious about but I'm feeling okay now so it should be fine, fingers crossed. 3 weeks until my angiogram so work might take my mind off worrying about that!

italian hope she's OK! DS recently had a viral rash so they couldn't treat it :(

So, Nectar just randomly asked me to "verify" when I opened my Nectar card. I tried to explain that it was at least 10 years ago and I didn't have a photographic memory so couldn't tell them. They said it was for "security" so had to give them a month and a year - well I don't know about you lot but I don't keep record of when I open a loyalty card. Failed the security test and now my Nectar account is blocked. I gave my memorable name, my address and my date of birth - it wasn't enough! I am so angry. What a stupid question! It's not like a bank account.

Oh & it was via their online chat as I enquired about missing Nectar Points from August

Low spend day yesterday. Just petrol and £3 on a tea and brownie. Today I'm going to a friends house and making a cake instead of buying one and I won a £50 lidl voucher on mumsnet-yay!

I like seeing what everyone's goals are for the month, helping me to stay focused and think about mine. I think meal plans are my biggest goal this month and my £50 lidl voucher will help nicely with that!

Thanks all. She apparently have a virus related rash but nothing contagious or worryingly. The doc think it's just how her body copes with rashes.. Just need to keep an eye on her and her temperature and then I got some antihestamine for the rash.

Hungry sounds like a great winning

Collie: sometimes I'm happy we don't have any of those loyalty cards here, seem to save some hassel...

Gws Italian dd. Vital rashes can look quite scary.
Excellent win hungry. That's at least a week's shop sorted or loads of treats.

Nsd still on course. Still haven't planned September. Will take a note book to the skate park and do it there

Glad your dd is o.kay Italian

Cag enjoy the BFG, I took dd and she loved it, I don't think its that scary!

Spendy day here

£7 on more thread worm treatment. I read something very depressing online that said in some cases it is virtually impossible to get read of them once you have them Shock Sad apparently one female worm can lay 15 000 eggs we may be taking thread worm treatment for the rest of our lives!

£17 in Sainsburys, not even really sure what I got for that Blush it included a book and some stationary that was in the sale for dd, thought it would be a nice surprise to come home to after her first day back at school. Also got some vitamins and other bits and pieces.

£25 in The Range, more flipping slate and some plants, I have turned into a bit of a plant addict! I am blaming it on years of not having a garden.

Aim for the rest of the month is to not buy anything Grin

Colliefeatures · 05/09/2016 15:14

girlie I have heard something similar about thread worms. I knew a girl at school who would have to take Ovex periodically (like the cat!) as a preventative measure as she had them constantly. Poor girl!

I phoned up Nectar and they were quite embarrassed actually. The guy said "what a daft question!" Phew!!
