Well done on the nail course fluffy, I've been lusting after beautiful nails on Pinterest but I'm rubbish at doing them!

ItalianWiking84 · 13/07/2016 21:12

Fabulous, Fluffy. Congratulations!Star

Ememem84 · 13/07/2016 21:23

Am off to London tomorrow for work. Cannot be arsed with this. But hey ho.

It's going to be a long day. Up at 5, pick up at 615 for the 7am flight. Meetings through until 5 then the 8pm flight back. Eugh. Whoever said business travel was glam. They lied.

Getting through my box of business cards though.

Had a riding lesson this evening as am away this weekend so will miss my usual Saturday class. Really nice way to chill after work. And work out. Pony was super well behaved. I was improved (apparently) and I hung around and did feeding and putting to bed/in the field. Nice nice nice.

Tryingtosaveup · 13/07/2016 22:28

Congratulations Fluffy. Are you going to open your new business. That nail in the pic looks fab

Ememem84 · 13/07/2016 22:36

I also forgot that I spent £99.09 at the post office today. Bought euros for my weekend in France. Rubbish rate but better than yesterday 1.16 instead of 1.13. Have divvied them out amongst my sis and Dh. Both of whom have paid me back. Any leftovers will be kept for our Italy trip. If I buy anything sweeties and biscuits and merguez sausages in st Malo I'll probably use my card anyway. Cash is for ice cream. Drinks and the carousel.

Sierra259 · 13/07/2016 22:39

Well done Fluffy!

babsmam · 14/07/2016 06:36

Congratulations fluffy

lilacclery · 14/07/2016 06:39

Em you are already on your way, hope you have a safe trip, it'll be a long ass day won't it?

Fluffy congrats on your course well done

I did a mock budget in ynab to see if I can afford to purchase the new car & it seems I can. I'm holding out on paying a deposit for a few weeks as I want to save it & want to time getting new car so that I'm not paying off old loan & car finance together. Am going to go test drive the car I originally intended to buy at the weekend too.
Ynab has really helped me become aware of all the things I spend money on

ItalianWiking84 · 14/07/2016 07:03

em happy holidaying... France is wonderful, I think...

Ememem84 · 14/07/2016 07:26

lilac yes long ass day (on plane at present waiting for take off..) won't be home until 9 and I've been up since 5. Sigh. Ah well. Will earn 1000 avios points for this trip (if that's a bonus) and don't have to be in the office today.

italian I like France. Parents have a place about 2 hours outside of st Malo. surrounded by fields. No tv. No internet. Radio can only pick up radio 4. We used to go for all of August when we were kids. And run wild and free. Nearest town is 20 mins away. It is proper country France. We used to visit the markets, picnic swim in the lakes. All a bit 5 go camping! But brilliant.
I like Paris. But not as much as "real" France. Never been further than paris though. Would love to head down to the south. Dhs family camped every year in the Dordogne apparently lovely.

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/07/2016 07:57

Thank you. I'm so happy to have passed.

Opening a business will take time & practice. If it's not perfect I won't be happy with it.

My dn's partner said it was the best French manicure she'd ever had. Which shows how bad French manicure is being done in her town.

I've asked the two suppliers of shellac in the uk for trade accounts.

ItalianWiking84 · 14/07/2016 08:32

Oh the countryside of France is very nice and st malo absolutely an amazing area, we usually travel in the north eastern part of France because I'm from Luxembourg so it's rather close.
Working from home today during translating tasks....

Canklesofglitter · 14/07/2016 08:37

Congratulations fluffy

Business away day yesterday so NSD. Having a gair cut and my eyebrows done today but budgeted spend. Also need to find a surveyor for our new house.

A possible job has come up for DH which would be a long commute for now but he may be able to do half of the time from home home. It will probably mean I need a job in an office or him dying a long, slow and painful death as he is so noisy...

needastrongone · 14/07/2016 10:20

Ouch for the bee sting Babs.

HUGE congratulations Fluffy. Will this be a side business or are you taking the plunge? Don't make it perfect, we all make mistakes setting up. Successful businesses thrive as they are flexible, and change according to circumstance.

I would kill DH if he worked at home Cankles.

Bet you are looking forward to your holiday Creme.

Not good re the uncertainty about the job Unescorted, but exciting about the car.

Italy is my soul mate country, France is wonderful but I adore Italy. I worked there for a year during my gap year. Wonderful memories.

Busy day yesterday as the team performed at the Great Yorkshire Show. They didn't do very well at all, as our fastest pony was lame, and they had to jig thing around a lot to accommodate that, which didn't really work!!

Spent £25 on pizza last night as we were so late getting back.

Today I am sat in the hairdressers reading the thread and catching up. Morrisons have already delivered at £56, and I will pop to Aldi. Also spent £75 on a competition in September.

AdoraBell · 14/07/2016 10:47

NSD

Congrats Fluffy Wine Thanks

Snuggly if you order on Boots web site you can have it delivered to your nearest store.

Off to catch up properly.

ipsogenix · 14/07/2016 11:04

Congratulations Fluffy! That's great.

I'm still being frugal here staring at the news. I was really heartened by Teresa May's speech outside 10 Downing Street. Especially since there's doesn't seem to an opposition labour party at the moment.

ItalianWiking84 · 14/07/2016 11:44

Sold our old garden furniture yai, 20£. 10 min after they went on fb I had 4 in queue. Perhaps I could have put the price a bit higher but on the other hand, just nice to get it away and when I have made an agreement with the first writing then I find it rude to afterwards starting a bidding round.

Cagliostro · 14/07/2016 14:01

Hi folks :) completely neglected to update my spreadsheet, been a bit rubbish this week! Will go through receipts later.

Got a small maths group and a piano lesson, thankfully the pupil I generally walk to is at a school thing this evening so no lesson for him - not really up to it TBH. Feel shocking. But the class I have is a gentle one so should be ok... just think of the money... :o

I am indeed, Need. Just on my way to get some euros and exchange a pair of shorts at Primark.
Spends so far: £60 hairdressers (hair cut, coloured and blow dryed and straightened, gel polish on hands and toes and bikini wax. Bargain.) and £7.80 bus fare. Back with rest of spends later.
