Thanks SS will have a look. Wasn't sure if they are too specialised.

Cashback for Haven holidays tracked on Quidco, yay, but only 2% not the advertised 5%? Why would that happen?! Can't see anything on the T&Cs.

I'm glad you mentioned that vaccination Badders, you have reminded me I need to organise it for DS. I'm in Ireland and they haven't introduced it to national vaccination programme at all, but you can pay to have it done privately so I'm going to do that. It's quite hard to get though as the minute, there is a shortage of it so I'm hoping I can get it over summer.

DontLetMeLetYouGo · 30/07/2016 13:20

I've been awol. I've not been feeling too clever. My mood is low. It doesn't help I'm on nights and I've had minimal sleep today and I'm facing another night shift tonight on about 2 and a half hours sleep.

DS has a birthday party now. I'll try get another 2 hours before work. Highly doubtful though. I had a stressful night last night and just thought why do I bother? I've been working extra for the money but just don't feel it's worth it at the moment.

I had a spendy day yesterday. Will pop a tenner in card for birthday child. I've not even thought about what to get. So unorganised.

Ememem84 · 30/07/2016 14:42

Arse. Have just dropped my favourite pasta bowl on the floor.

I bought a willow pattern Chinese set ages ago from our local hospice shop. 15 pieces for a £5. This was the final piece. We were hoping to keep it until we move house maybe next year. Then buy new bowls. Now we only have one other. Sigh.

Badders123 · 30/07/2016 15:07

Do you have boots in Ireland?
If so they have the vaccine now and you can book via their website.
It's the cheapest Ive found...£90 as opposed to £250 at some places!

BertieTodd · 30/07/2016 15:48

Wow that's a huge difference, thanks for the tip, will check it out.

WreckTangled · 30/07/2016 16:04

Boots online says £220?

CremeEggThief · 30/07/2016 16:20

Don't, hang in there. Not too many parents would make the effort to take their DC to a party in the middle of 2 night shifts. You're doing great.Brew

NSD here. I've done loads of housework today: 2 loads of laundry; vacuumed and mopped all downstairs; cleaned the bathroom; cleaned all mirrors and screens; and my least favourite job- dusting the 3 Venetian blinds. Contemplating an afternoon snooze now.

WreckTangled · 30/07/2016 16:22

£50 lidl
£21 sainsburys
£30 petrol
£40 sideboard from selling site

Was meant to go out this afternoon but am indoors. Watching bones. Taking the time while Dh is at a work colleagues wedding to catch up with my tv and drinking tea. I'm also busy pinteresting garden stuff for my forever home.

Tryingtosaveup · 30/07/2016 16:48

Frugal fail. Big mistake. Went into Waterstones.
I should know better. £16.75 on books for DGCs who are coming next week. Got £6.21 off though as had some money on my Waterstones card and one book was half price.

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/07/2016 16:55

Things always look worse on lack of sleep don't and night shifts are a killer.

Had a good time at the food festival. The hairy bikes were very funny. Spent about £50 do not too bad

ItalianWiking84 · 30/07/2016 17:18

Defn a nsd here, at the moment a tv crew from national tv is blocking my drive in. Really don't get the huge interest in men in tights on bikes Hmm but dd and me have had fun making pizza snails, cleaned the windows and playing with duplo Smile
Dh worked nights only when we were living in uk and he was non functional for the first day after his 3 night shift...

Badders123 · 30/07/2016 17:22

Just got back
It is indeed £110 each so £220 for both
Last year when I looked it was £90 each!
Just goes to show what demand can do! Angry
Still cheaper than quite a few places I've seen

Unescorted · 30/07/2016 17:25

Cag try Evans as well for the BMX or eBay.
Don't I am not sure we have ever managed to get beyond the £10 card. You are not alone & I don't have the lack of sleep to contend with.

Badders123 · 30/07/2016 17:55

Any of you have a boots card?
Are they worth it?
Just got 1700 points for the jabs and same again in 8 weeks

WreckTangled · 30/07/2016 17:57

Yes badders. Save it up and use them at Christmas Smile

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/07/2016 18:03

TBH I get all loyalty cards offered, they all come in useful eventually.

£20 butchers
25 aldi
£4 Iceland on 1kg cheese
£7 morrisons.
£1 sainsburys

Dont keep going, come the next pay cheque it will be worth it.

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/07/2016 18:05

Excellent find there wreck. I love a bargain like that.

Badders123 · 30/07/2016 18:11

So it's worth it?
It's not a case of a mascara for eleventy million points!?

Badders123 · 30/07/2016 18:14

Ooooh
Nice sideboard Smile

WreckTangled · 30/07/2016 18:16

Each point is worth 1p. You're rich in boots points Grin

Thanks fluffy I'm really pleased. I've wanted one for ages but we just can't afford a new one.

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/07/2016 18:18

New furniture so overpriced though.

There's a boots app for bonus points, like the nectar app.

Ememem84 · 30/07/2016 18:35

Yes! Get a boots card. I have about £20 worth of points. Will come in useful one day.

Only annoyed that my clarins haul the other day didn't come from boots. Could have been quidsin.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 30/07/2016 19:54

Love that sideboard wreck that looks lovely, Im wondering about getting something similar for the living room but haven't quite worked out a plan for this room yet!

Lila ouch, I was stung by a wasp on the ankle once and the pain was ridiculous, bloody hate the little devils.

It makes me quite cross that that vaccination is so expensive, someone told me it is a course of injections? I need to find out about getting dd the flu vaccination this Autumn, am hoping she can may be have the nasal spray as is really needle phobic.

Creme that sounds very industrious Wine

I have been at work all day which was busy as usual plus woke up with a crick in my neck so not been able to look left all day Hmm Went to Asda tonight and spent £75 - eek, got a lot for that though including school uniform for dd, a load of kitchen stuff that was in the sale and some food as well!

You lot made me crave Chinese food so got the grand total of £4 enjoyed a very nice Asda Chinese tonight Grin have just heard from dd, she is having a lovely time with her Grandad Smile
