£20 today holiday club, £25 + boots on holiday stuff as ds can only use certain sun cream. £30 wilkos photo frames for ddog photos. Also need waterproof trousers. Does anyone have haman towels for light?

CremeEggThief · 25/07/2016 06:47

Indeed I have, Lilac. I was going to mention it, but I forgot.

lilacclery · 25/07/2016 07:09

Cool just spotted it this morning will have fun checking it out

Ememem84 · 25/07/2016 07:24

life no hamam towels here but have been thinking about getting some for the gym so interested to hear others thoughts.

Today is going to be an nsd.

I am aiming for two nsds a week now. At least.

Today I have to go to the gym. I'm feeling very heavy at present (eaten too much) and need to start working it off. Taking care of myself again. Am going to get an early night tonight.

Tried last night but got into bed and Dh then decided to start putting all his clothes away. At 1030. It took him an hour. And I've been nagging him to do it for the last month. So couldn't complain...but man does he pick his times!

WreckTangled · 25/07/2016 07:25

Today will be spendy. Need flea and worm stuff and the vet wants to meet him first. Then after lunch we're going to a fair have set myself a budget of £20 which isn't much but can't afford more.

Ememem84 · 25/07/2016 07:25

Am also going to speak to my mobile provider. As I've been going over my data allowance ever month. Not by much but maybe £5 a month more.

They are now offering a contract which is the same price as mine but with double he data. So I'm going to see if I can switch. I'm on a monthly rolling contract so should be able to.

WreckTangled · 25/07/2016 08:01

I think WreckCat might have a tic. It wasn't there when he came in last night so he would only have got it in the last hour. I'll ask the vet when we go in a bit so he can show me how to remove it safely.

ItalianWiking84 · 25/07/2016 08:44

Big cleaning day today after the guys left yesterday, and have properly 5 loads of laundry, luckily the weather seems nice...
My grandparents are coming round to pick up our berries in the garden so going to get a cake for later, so should be lsd.

SnugglySnerd · 25/07/2016 09:22

At least he timed getting the tick when you were already going to the vet wreck.
Have just nipped out for bananas and pitta bread, that was £1.70 from local shop, much more than supermarket.
Today's objective is to go through the freezer and make a meal plan that uses stuff up as it's completely full!
Just going to the park later so it should be a low spend day.

WreckTangled · 25/07/2016 10:36

£28 at the vets. The vet removed the tick but said it wasn't worth getting a preventative treatment unless he keeps getting them. He weighs 7.9kg Blush and was a right bugger to get into the carrier. He was very sad about it but didn't try to scratch or bite me.

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/07/2016 11:26

Wacky warehouse is free today.

£5 lidl voucher in the daily mail.

WreckTangled · 25/07/2016 11:43

Why do my muffins always end up like sunken giant cupcakes Sad

Cagliostro · 25/07/2016 11:47

Will just be groceries spends this morning. Unfortunately I messed up the delivery so it's not arriving til dinnertime. DH has taken the DCs to the Coop (at least he gets discount) while I have a rest. We've been clearing out the massive cupboard under the stairs. Loads of toys in there that, TBF, the DCs do play with when they can - but there's just no space. So they've agreed that I can sell them (stuff like Happyland which has a good resale value) - we've promised them some of the profit, and the rest will go on games/home ed stuff that we need.

Thurs - spinach & chick pea curry
Fri - quesadillas
Sat - roasted veg & halloumi (first meal I'll have to shop for this week!)
Sun - pasta with roasted veg (leftovers)
Mon - sc squash, chick pea & coconut curry.

SpaceKablooie · 25/07/2016 12:56

Em, can you get giffgaff where you are? I only pay £7.50/month for heaps of data, minutes, and texts. Giffgaff use O2's infrastructure. It's not a contract either.

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/07/2016 13:23

Cag, i ordered a woodland trust invite a tree to tea pack and thought of you. Its really canny and might be OK for a home ed thing. Well for anyone really who has young DC
Wreck - how much baking powder are you putting in? Are they rising and then sinking as that usually means too much? That's a good size for a cat.

Not sure i dare admit this but here goes - £21 BHS, £35 boots, £11.50 mountain warehouse, £3 the works, £20 primark, £25 sainsburys, and whatever dh spends in lush on shower bars.

Ememem84 · 25/07/2016 13:24

Switched my contract as of 1 August. So for be same price I now get 200 texts 500 minutes and 2gb of data.

space no unfortunately we can't get giffgaff. We have a choice of 3 on island mobile providers.

O2 giffgaff and the like are supported here (as in phones will work but you pay roaming charges).

I have to be careful when I go to the islands NE coast as sometimes I hop onto one of the French networks. And pay roaming charges if I get texts etc. Nightmare.

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/07/2016 13:47

oh and £20 holiday club, which if they like it will be another £60 for the rest of the week.

WreckTangled · 25/07/2016 15:48

Well I tend not to use the same recipe this was another new one. I did 2tsp as per the recipe. They rose a bit then sunk but then never ever rise like proper muffins

Whataboutwhathuh · 25/07/2016 16:46

£56 on petrol and £1.40 on parking. I thought it was pay day. It wasn't. Pretty sure our account will be overdrawn. This month I am going to be super strict.

ItalianWiking84 · 25/07/2016 16:49

So the remortgage will cost us 1700£ and we will save 1800£ so defn not something for us which our bank advisor also said. My parents want dd for a day so dh and I have date day on Wednesday Smile

Ememem84 · 25/07/2016 17:50

Nsd Monday!! Yeah!!!!

AdoraBell · 25/07/2016 17:54

Far too much spent on lunch out today, not planned but last night I dislocated my toe, again, and so we went to Minor Injuries this morning. DH left me to pay while he bought painkillers and my pain addled, sleep deprived brain tipped to waiter £40 instead of £4, luckily he pointed it out and got the manager to refund and reprocess with the £4 tip.

Will try to catch up later

WreckTangled · 25/07/2016 17:55

Spent £18 at the fair. Was so expensive at £2 a ride per child.
