£16 Curette and nail nippers.

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/07/2016 18:50

I am 15 points away from a 500 nectar point bonus on e-rewards.

It is very annoying.

Moules frites with wine (please say it was pouilly fume or Sancerre) sounds delicious.

Tryingtosaveup · 22/07/2016 19:15

NSD here.
Still I shock over spending all that money on joining gym yesterday.

Cagliostro · 22/07/2016 19:51

Did you save money by doing a year upfront rather than monthly? It feels a lot but I guess if you spread it over the year it'd be fairly average for a gym (and it sounds like a nice one too) :)

I'm waiting for an Amazon voucher after I did a phone interview with a psychologist. They're keeping my email address as well, as they'll want testers for the app they're designing, which apparently means more vouchers. Woohoo! I was tempted to splurge it on something (£20) but I'm going to get something home ed related. A chemistry set or something :)

£4 something in tesco. I bought cookies and doughnuts for everyone at work. Dh is getting an Indian.

Tryingtosaveup · 22/07/2016 20:18

Cag, yes I did a year up front. It worked out at £45 per month. If I was paying monthly it would be £50 per month. So I thought it was worth saving the £60. So it's not so bad. And they had an offer on just for 3 days of no joining fee. Normally that's an extra £20.
It's a good gym with lots of classes, a big spinning studio and a pool, jacuzzi, steam etc. so once I start going on Monday it will be fine. I need to lose the half stone I have gained since I moved here. And I need to get fit again.
I have pm' d you

Ememem84 · 22/07/2016 20:39

fluffy no. It was a crisp cold bottle of muscadet sur lie.

It was lovely. And it was more the fact he said I was appreciated than the lunch.

Now watching Everest. Feeling freezing.

lilacclery · 22/07/2016 20:49

Girlie we miss you!

Fluffy that often happens me with Irish opinions survey site too.
Got a €10 TESCO voucher from them this week & found a €10 boots one when decluttering last weekend.

€4 today 2 children came collecting for a sponsored walk

Went to Lidl last night €125 but got some fab games & drawing pads for dc also spent €18 in aldi on some new tea towels as well as groceries.

lilacclery · 22/07/2016 21:18

Em my boss has tuned out some much lately since he took on a foreman that he's not even aware that we're open tomorrow & that I'm working GrinConfusedAngry

Appreciation like you got there is fantastic

Ememem84 · 22/07/2016 21:37

Warning. Don't watch Everest. Just don't.

SnugglySnerd · 23/07/2016 06:10

What's wrong with Everest Em? Have never seen it, is it worth watching?
Plan for today is - more clearing out and cleaning. DH is going to the butchers to get his Sunday meat sorted.
Library and park this afternoon, they are conveniently next to each other and share a car park! Take away with friends this evening. Hooray!

WreckTangled · 23/07/2016 06:44

I'm going to pick up the food shopping this morning £65 click and collect. Then the dc have a birthday party, I need to get the cat some spot on and get my prescription.

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/07/2016 06:50

We are off to an open air museum today to meet friends and have a pic nic.

WreckTangled · 23/07/2016 07:21

Just saw the cat pooing in next doors veg patch ShockBlush

Ememem84 · 23/07/2016 08:07

snuggly totally worth watching but man it's an emotional roller coaster. It's based on a true story about a climb in 1996.

Today I am treating myself to a facial as my skins gone nuts. Am also going riding then Dh and I are out for dinner. Yippee!

Ememem84 · 23/07/2016 10:30

It's also my our wedding anniversary today. 5 years! Eeek!

Dh bought me a jersey oak hand crafted cheeseboard. It's from a piece of old gnarly tree which has been polished up. And a voucher for the cheese shop. 😀 This is why I married him.

Cagliostro · 23/07/2016 11:14

Aww happy anniversary Em! :) Wine

Happy anniversary Em and an amazing gift. I think DH and I would enjoy Everest, he'd like the mountains and I'd enjoy a good cry!
Have begun my summer holiday housework blitz. Have spent all morning cleaning, tired now so having a sit down. DH got a big ham to slow cook for the week's sandwiches and a few more cleaning products.

Tryingtosaveup · 23/07/2016 14:07

Happy anniversary Em. Enjoy dinner. Le yum

lilacclery · 23/07/2016 14:14

Em that's a fantastic present!

Spends today €20 on diesel €1.40 on newspaper & €1.50 on Reconstructing Amelia, a kindle book that supposed to be similar to Gone Girl.

Every week I allow myself €20 fun money out of my wages which is approx 3% of my full time job earnings. I spend it on food out usually & barely think about that but I debated it very hard before purchasing the kindle book today something I'll get far more enjoyment out of GrinConfused

WreckTangled · 23/07/2016 15:03

Fabulous em!

Well I spent:

£65 tesco
£28 tesco (yes really)
£39 Amazon (sun cream and birthday present for best friends dd)

Went to a birthday party whilst I was there I went to the cafe and the guy serving said 'oh hi wreck long time no see how are you?' Still not got a clue who is was....

Then went to the library and signed up for the reading challenge now I'm trying to get the house in order. Not had lunch yet.

SpaceKablooie · 23/07/2016 15:12

Wreck, what's the reading challenge? I think DS might like it.

I'm making bread, it smells ace. I love my KitchenAid Blush.

ipsogenix · 23/07/2016 15:13

Wreck we just did the same. It's nice to have so many organised activities in the holidays. There's really a lot going on here this summer.

WreckTangled · 23/07/2016 15:31

Space it's a thing at the library, if they read six books they get a medal and certificate etc. Dd is worried as she is on to big chapter books now and thinks she won't read six!

SpaceKablooie · 23/07/2016 15:32

Thanks Wreck, DS loves getting a medal Grin, so I'll get him to sign up.
