Nice namechange :)

Got a lot hotter here now but yes, lovely breeze with the window open. We've spent the day doing Spanish and Lego. Need to do more laundry though.

Don't sit at home Babs, get out and enjoy the summer. Drs don't sign you off for no reason Cake. Cake always helps.

Wreck Nope, still pending.

£6 top up shop.

SnugglySnerd · 20/07/2016 17:44

Think I've spent £25 today. At least a tenner of that was on pregnancy tests. Looks like we need to start saving for maternity leave!

WreckTangled · 20/07/2016 17:56

Wow congratulations snuggly!

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/07/2016 18:38

I was inspired in a supermarket.

Congratulations snuggly. How are you feeling?

Sierra259 · 20/07/2016 18:51

Congratulations Snuggly! What number DC for you?

NSD today. Went out for lunch but used a voucher so didn't cost us anything - frugal win!

SnugglySnerd · 20/07/2016 18:57

Thanks. It'll be DC2. Trying not to get excited incase something goes wrong, I've had a few twinges this evening.

WreckTangled · 20/07/2016 19:06

I had lots of twinges the first few weeks often on just one side.

AdoraBell · 20/07/2016 19:10

Congrats Snuggly

Nice NN Lifelong, hope the two weeks help and what fluffy said re enjoying the sun and Cake

Technically an NSD but I've set up DDs to a couple of charities, £5 each will come out in a few weeks.

No rain here but it has been a bit cooler.

SnugglySnerd · 20/07/2016 19:50

They are on one side wreck so that's reassuring. It's right at the end of my c section scar.
Just nipped out for cat food and bought some pregnancy vitamins, bloody hell they are expensive!

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 20/07/2016 20:37

We went to sundown adventure land nr retford notts, Highly recommend its £14 each and under 2 are free (you can sneak an almost 3yr old in for under 2 in a buggy we did first time with ds1). We didn't q for a ride yesterday was nice and quiet.

Today we went to Alton towers with 2 lots tickets I brought from eBay and Gumtree, was amazing busy in main park q for runaway train for 35mins and dh n ds1 q for rapids for 45mins, then they did pirate ships short q, otherwise we went on Skyride and spent most day in cbeebies land minimal q's for first hr was literally waiting for go in front to finish and as time went on was 20mi s q for some rides and end day same as start. Biggest q was for bloody monorail in and out park -- I was shocked its £6 to park takes piss really nowhere else to park and they know it.

Anyway hoping for better nights sleep ds2 spent night in my bed just cried in his cot too hot and some frequently moaning dh took him Down at4.30 and he downed a beaker of water and ate a fruit pot in seconds.

lilacclery · 20/07/2016 20:39

Love the name change we are the frugaleers & proud!
Congrats snuggly twinges are normal we are just hyper aware of our bodies when we are pregnant Smile

lilacclery · 20/07/2016 20:40

I took a last minute half day off yesterday & joined the dc on the beach I think it made dds entire summer! Spent €8.60 on ice cream

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 20/07/2016 20:54

Snuggly wilko do pregnancy vits and were cheapest ii found and sains own brand if on 3 for 2.

CremeEggThief · 20/07/2016 20:57

Oh wow, congrats SnugglyGrin.

SnugglySnerd · 20/07/2016 21:13

I should have thought of that eastmids but it was an impulse buy in an attempt to be healthy!
Did anyone watch EWFL? 70 packets of crisps a week!!!

ItalianWiking84 · 20/07/2016 21:15

I watched it snuggly I would like to see them help people who actually dont spend huge amounts but eat crap through havi g to buy those fillers foods by that I mean cheap frozen sausages and chips cheap and fill a belly compared to a salad and iits eat well for less so that's what I expect not obvious money savi g ie- do nt spend £70 on snacks and don't buy premium brands - no shit Sherlock they paid you to make that TV show!

Canklesofglitter · 20/07/2016 22:20

I watched EWFL too. Can't believe the brand snobbery of some people. Surely it's worth trying an own brand once? I don't think I could spend what some of them spend if I shopped in the farm shop, posh butchers and Waitrose!

Top Up Aldi shop today £35 but will last until we go away fir the weekend. Under spent on part of our budget so bought a couple of November birthday presents. Just got converse to buy for DD then that's all present put by until late November. Steeling myself to spend £45 on canvas pumps that would be a tenner without the logo but DD is 15 and labels matter. Plus she's taken the brunt of our three relocations so I don't begrudge her a little something when she can't even choose the paint for her bedroom until we buy a house.

A few more contracts have come up for DH so he has sent his CV in for those. Hopefully the post Brexit wobble has stabilised and we might be ok.

Canklesofglitter · 20/07/2016 22:23

Congratulations snuggly!

Cagliostro · 20/07/2016 23:37

Yay! Congratulations Snuggly! :) :)

Spendy day in the end. Took DCs out for a bit in the evening. Fail.

Grinsnuggly! Amazing news!

( I'm crawling along to end of term here - will be back once I've had some R&R!)

Ememem84 · 21/07/2016 06:53

Congrats snuggly xxx

Nsd yesterday.

Payday today!!!!

WreckTangled · 21/07/2016 07:19

Hoping for nsd. Last day of term but they're finishing an hour early Hmm so I'm having to go to work an hour early so I can finish in time to pick them up. So Dh is having to go into work late so he can take them to school. Pretty annoying tbh.

ItalianWiking84 · 21/07/2016 07:40

Congrats snuggly
