You've managed a lot already today Creme sounds like the pilates will be good but nowt wrong with a restful afternoon til then!

I'm trying to channel Dory and keep telling myself 'just keep swimming just keep swimming' > > >

DCs have had more time outside, we've done more home ed and a bit of tidying, they're now up in the bathroom wasting blackberries making perfume.

CremeEggThief · 07/03/2016 14:56

Do you think, Fuzz? I feel like I'm wading through water today. I like your channeling Dory analogySmile. Outside time and potion making sound fun. If I didn't have Pilates tonight, I would have made myself go for a nice 2 or 3 mile walk, but I'm conscious of having to conserve energy. Stupid CFS!Angry

Em I'm fortunate enough to get paid for sick days although I worked almost 4 hours today. I've only used them once in 8 years.

Girlie I've been taking soluble vitamin c for months daily.

I've just had a nap in afternoon sun like a catSmile

WreckTangled · 07/03/2016 15:32

Creme I think you've done lots too. I feel exhausted after what I've done. I don't have cfs but have things wrong with me that cause chronic fatigue.

Wolfcub · 07/03/2016 15:48

lovetoknit good luck to your Dr
fuzz I think channelling dory is a good plan

Hope all the poorly frugaleers soon feel better. I took my fruflu to the docs today -I am so run down and fed up I was in tears trying to explai what was wrong. Anibiotics and an instruction to go.back for a follow up check/further tests. Fingers crossed this is the beginning of the end of it. Spent £8.20 on prescription

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 07/03/2016 15:51

Maybe its the weather or something I've felt like I have been wading through treacle all day as well Confused

Just back from the vets, I now have the joy of trying to get a urine sample from boy cat Hmm could be interesting...... Grin the vets was £36 which tbf was better than I thought it was going to be!

Also spent £9 at Pets at Home on getting a new litter tray (will have to separate the cats) and a hamster accessory, which I got for £1 as used a voucher. We had a look at how much the hamster cases go for and the one that dd found at the reuse shop for £5 was £50 new Shock good little bargain!!

Can someone reassure me that Paypal and eBay are easy to figure out! I have sorted a load of dds clothes and they are not selling on the fb page so am thinking may have to eBay them..... or just admit defeat and take to the charity shop Wink

babsmam · 07/03/2016 16:04

Girlie PayPal and eBay are easy.

I feel shattered but that's the end of a rough couple of weeks.
Collie I think saying no to that was right. The right job will come up

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 07/03/2016 16:08

ds2 is asleep on me barely eaten even his fav paella high temp not happy bunny, got glasses sorted one new pair on order and new lenses for other pair n theory will fit when I go back next week totally wrong glasses for him and wrong measurement scary really thank goodness I went to another branch and was persistent other people may have accepted what given.

Lunch out in town n treated myself to a new dress in fat face and car serviced and mot which passed few advisories but that's always vcase really n can wait

WreckTangled · 07/03/2016 16:24

Hope he feels better east

Girlie it's really easy and boden sells really well Wink

Wolf hope you feel better soon.

Dinner is Caesar salad with children goujons. I'm going to make some garlic toasted pita too. Might add mozzarella. Not sure whether to use olive oil or butter.

CremeEggThief · 07/03/2016 16:54

I'm not going to make Pilates Sad. Feeling no more recharged after a few hours on the sofa. My Pilates teacher is very understanding, as her daughter has it too.

Hope everyone else (including DC) who feels under the weather gets well soon.Brew

Aw sorry Creme I'm glad you've got an understanding teacher and that you've realised now rather than pushing yourself too far and paying for it for days afterwards. Thanks It's such a hard balance isn't it. It's not the same as going to the gym in my pre-CFS days where I'd be sore for a day but then be fine again. And yet doing nothing can be bad too, as muscles and joints can seize up. Confused

CremeEggThief · 07/03/2016 17:17

Exactly Fuzz. I wish I had gone out for a walk earlier now.

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/03/2016 17:22

creme you did do loads over the weekend though. Pilates will still be there next week.

Vitamin D can help energy, we've probably all used a fair bit of our stores over winter. I take cod liver oil because I wear sunscreen all year anyway.

NSD, £3.20 in cashback recieved and I dyed my old white company pillowcases black (£2.99 in home bargains last week) so they now match our bedding and we can use the pillows dh acquired off the sofa that went back because there the same size.

Ememem84 · 07/03/2016 17:27

wreck seriously....??? I read your post at lunch and went into panic mode. stealth googled at lunch and have found that dizziness is a symptom of being pg. didn't know that however I have none of the others but because you've made me panic and because I came off the pill in January I've stealth bought things to pee on.

WreckTangled · 07/03/2016 17:37

Sorry em it was the first thing I thought of!

My garlic pitas were amazing! So cheap and easy.

Chances are though Creme you'd be suffering even more now if you had. It's horrible, I understand, the regret of having done too much or of having not done something you wanted to, but I tend to err on the side of 'if I didn't do it, then not doing it is what I needed', y'know? I think also the problem with CFS type stuff is that you often don't feel the effects that day, or even the next, like 'normal' people would after having a big day out. That's how it gets you I think - it doesn't show up straight away and then in the interim you do more because you still feel ok... and then it hits you. So with the painting etc it is probably catching up with you. Thanks

EEEEK em well it might be nothing, they do say it'll take a while after you come off the pill, but it's not definite. My mum had been on the pill for over 20yrs when they decided that, in her words, "suppose we might as well have a baby" Hmm :o she still got pregnant first cycle Confused so not out of the question.

Ememem84 · 07/03/2016 17:42

Yeah well. Welcome to panic town. Population 1.

fuzzpig · 07/03/2016 17:45

Ahh bless you Em. TBF it most likely is just a cold coming!

If it happens a little earlier than you planned, you'll manage. You will. Brew

WreckTangled · 07/03/2016 17:51

Ah em whatever it says you'll be fine Smile you've got us to look after you St Davids

CremeEggThief · 07/03/2016 17:58

I suppose you're both right, Fluffy and Fuzz. I have been doing quite a lot over the past few weeks.

No need to panic, Em. Smile

Right, I think I can just about manage pasta, pesto, olives and chopped up avocado for dinner.

Ememem84 · 07/03/2016 18:17

aw Thanks guys! I know I'll be fine whenever it happens. Apparently it all comes naturally....

On a exciting note. My next work trip has been booked today. Off to Israel. Woo. The land of religion. Humous. And um...conflict.

WreckTangled · 07/03/2016 18:20

When is it em. It's very hot out there... Don't talk to any male guards as they don't like that Blush

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/03/2016 18:31

I think you can refuse to let Israel stamp your passport.

One of my colleagues passed off early pg as a cold, she looked fucking awful too so we all believed her.

lilacclery · 07/03/2016 18:36

Em it was also first thing I thought of when you said you were dizzy Grin

Ipsos · 07/03/2016 18:50

Hello :-)

Sorry to be missing. RL has become a 25-hour a day job. I hope it's going well there. Good luck POAS Em.
